  1. Those are things I pointed out the second he picked his number. Also: born June 14th.
  2. So is anybody bored enough to try and make a list of their own? Top 10? Top 20? Top 100? I'm bored and have plenty of time, so I'll try to construct a top 100... 100: TJ Ward, S, Broncos 99: Eddie Lacy, RB, Packers 98: Louis Vazquez, G, Broncos 97: Ryan Kalil, C, Panthers 96: Jordy Nelson, WR, Packers 95: Dwayne Bowe, WR, Chiefs 94: Stephen Tulloch, LB, Lions 93: Jason Witten, TE, Cowboys 92: Roddy White, WR, Falcons 91: CJ Spiller, RB, Bills 90: Charles Tillman, CB, Bears 89: Evan Mathis, G, Eagles 88: Eric Weddle, S, Chargers 87: Marshal Yanda, G, Ravens 86: Colin Kaepernick, QB, 49ers 85: Gerald McCoy, DT, Bucs 84: Karlos Dansby, LB, Browns 83: Reggie Bush, RB, Lions 82: Torrey Smith, WR, Ravens 81: Nick Foles, QB, Eagles 80: Aqib Talib, CB, Broncos 79: Brent Grimes, CB, Dolphins 78: DeAndre Levy, OLB, Lions 77: Terrell Suggs, OLB, Ravens 76: Kyle Williams, DT, Bills 75: Joe Staley, OT, 49ers 74: Derrick Johnson, LB, Chiefs 73: Tony Romo, QB, Cowboys 72: Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks 71: Wes Welker, WR, Broncos 70: DeMarcus Ware, OLB, Broncos 69: Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions 68: Vince Wilfork, NT, Patriots 67: Daryl Washington, LB, Cardinals 66: Antonio Brown, WR, Steelers 65: Darrelle Revis, CB, Patriots 64: Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots 63: Robert Griffin, QB, Redskins 62: Justin Blalock, G, Falcons 61: Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers 60: Cordy Glenn, OT, Bills 59: Alterraun Verner, CB, Bucs 58: John Abraham, OLB, Cardinals 57: Pierre Garcon, WR, Redskins 56: Frank Gore, RB, 49ers 55: Clay Matthews, OLB, Packers 54: Dez Bryant, WR, Cowboys 53: Tamba Hali, OLB, Chiefs 52: Jairus Byrd, S, Saints 51: Muhammed Wilkerson, DT, Jets 50: Logan Mankins, G, Patriots 49: Greg Hardy, DE, Panthers 48: Joe Haden, CB, Browns 47: Vontaze Burfict, LB, Bengals 46: Jared Allen, DE, Bears 45: Andrew Whitworth, OT, Bengals 44: Alshon Jeffrey, WR, Bears 43: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Lions 42: Nick Mangold, C, Jets 41: Cam Newton, QB, Panthers 40: Brandon Marshall, WR, Bears 39: Vernon Davis, TE, 49ers 38: Robert Quinn, DE, Rams 37: Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos 36: Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seahawks 35: Haloti Ngata, DT, Ravens 34: Andre Johnson, WR, Texans 33: Phillip Rivers, QB, Chargers 32: Alfred Morris, RB, Redskins 31: Robert Mathis, OLB, Colts 30: Mario Williams, DE, Bills 29: Julio Jones, WR, Falcons 28: Justin Smith, DT, 49ers 27: Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons 26: Earl Thomas, S, Seahawks 25: Lavonte David, LB, Bucs 24: Andrew Luck, QB, Colts 23: Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals 22: Duane Brown, OT, Texans 21: Von Miller, OLB, Broncos 20: Geno Atkins, DT, Bengals 19: Jamaal Charles, RB, Chiefs 18: Jimmy Graham, TE, Saints 17: Josh Gordon, WR, Browns 16: Patrick Peterson, CB, Cardinals 15: Navarro Bowman, LB, 49ers 14: Matt Forte, RB, Chicago 13: Joe Thomas, OT, Browns 12: AJ Green, WR, Bengals 11: Tom Brady, QB, Patriots 10: LeSean McCoy, RB, Eagles 9: Luke Kuechly, LB, Panthers 8: Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers 7: Drew Brees, QB, Saints 6: JJ Watt, LB, Texans 5: Richard Sherman, CB, Seahawks 4: Patrick Willis, LB, 49ers 3: Adrian Peterson, RB, Vikings 2: Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions 1: Peyton Manning, QB, Broncos
  3. Clay definitely played well, but I wouldn't say he's a top 100 player...
  4. No, he won't change. He'd have to pay a big price to the NFL/Nike if he did.
  5. Marcus Mariota... Only because they aren't bowing down to the Bills who haven't made the playoffs this decade... I hate ESPN, but I'm sick of seeing people flip out and rant when some media doesn't believe the Bills will be amazing.
  6. Am I wrong for thinking that Stevie Johnson is the third-best receiver in team history (behind Reed and Moulds)?
  7. Picked the ugliest possible WR number. Absolutely hate it. Justin Blackmon also went with that ugly thing. It'll be easy to switch over old Fitz jerseys, I guess. I don't have one, though. I was going to mention how much it made sense for him to go with 14, though. Born on the 14th day of the month, the 4th pick in the 1st round in 2014... Wore 7 and 2 previously (7x2=14)
  8. @nflnetwork: SPOILER ALERT: @Kiko__Alonso has made the Top 100 Players of 2014! #90 - #81 revealed TONIGHT (9pm ET)! #NFLTop100 http://t.co/Ubm9k4fHLK
  9. Franchise. That's what happens when a new regime wants to get guys in there that they want. It's not that bad when you consider that. Mario's contract always makes him a possible cut. I know we wish it was as simple as production, but it's not. Every big contract has points in it that could be easy cut areas, and Mario has that pretty much every offseason from now on. Didn't say it was likely, but all of those guys have a chance at being moved next offseason.
  10. "All these years..." It's been three years since somebody wore it.
  11. http://www.49ers.com/news/article-2/Stevie-Johnson-We%E2%80%99re-All-No-1-Receivers/1b44e483-0f8b-421c-85bf-76dd8cc37d14 Worth a watch. He refuses to say a bad thing about Buffalo.
  12. Scott Chandler and Tony Moeaki have a very similar career when considering their first two years of relevance in the league: -Both drafted out of Iowa (Chandler with pick 129, Moeaki with pick 93) -Moeaki: 1009 yards in first two years of relevance. Chandler: 960 yards. Difference of 49 yards. -Moeaki: 80 receptions. Chandler: 81 receptions. One catch difference. The only difference is TDs. Chandler had 16 while Moeaki had just four. Maybe Moeaki could be a guy who they use all over the field and Chandler a guy they use in the red zone. Could be a good tandem. Question is does this mean that they give up on Gragg? They won't keep three TEs around, and Lee Smith seems to be a favorite as a blocker.
  13. I was expanding it to next offseason, as well, since there isn't that high of a chance that any of those names are gone this season. If CJ has a huge year then it could be possible that the team tries to get back into the 2015 first round using him...
  14. I think Pears is a lock, but I wouldn't say he's a big name. He was very solid for a year or two. The next actual big name that will be off this team? I would say the big names on this team (at least at a local level) that would have some chance of leaving are: CJ Spiller Mario Williams Fred Jackson Mike Williams Marcell Dareus Some of those guys could easily walk in free agency so it wouldn't be a cut or trade. CJ is the most likely common answer.
  15. Brent Grimes is a fantastic corner. I'd take him ahead of Dareus or Kyle everyday.
  16. I voted for Bryce Brown and Keith Rivers. Bryce Brown won't be it this year unless there is an injury, but there's a very good chance at least one of Jackson/Spiller are gone after this year and he'll get a big chance. Keith Rivers will benefit from not having much pressure. Kiko and Spikes will take most of the pressure and plays away from him which should allow him to excel.
  17. I think Kiko and Mario will be the only players on the list. Last year Mario and Freddy were the only players on the list. Interestingly enough, that was after Freddy had his worst season since become a relevant NFL player. He had a good year last year, so maybe the players have him high again.
  18. That has been mentioned like thirty times. There have been multiple threads on it.
  19. The list: 100: Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions 99: Cameron Jordan, DE/OLB, New Orleans Saints 98: Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys 97: Louis Vazquez, OG, Denver Broncos 96: Daryl Washington, LB, Arizona Cardinals 95: Brent Grimes, CB, Miami Dolphins 94: Sheldon Richardson, DE, New York Jets 93: Ryan Kalil, C, Carolina Panthers 92: Eric Weddle, S, San Diego Chargers 91: Matt Forte, RB, Chicago Bears 90: Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers 89: Charles Clay, TE, Miami Dolphins 88: Evan Mathis, OG, Philadelphia Eagles 87: DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas Cowboys 86: Duane Brown, OT, Houston Texas 85: Reggie Bush, RB, Detroit Lions 84: Kiko Alonso, LB, Buffalo Bills 83: Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay Packers 82: TJ Ward, S, Denver Broncos (last season with Browns) 81: Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers Figured we could have a thread to talk about this list. The NFL just teased a picture saying that two rookies will make this week's list (81-90). It will be two of Kiko Alonso, Eddie Lacy, Keenan Allen and Tyrann Mathieu. I assume Kiko will definitely be one of the two. Eddie Lacy will likely be the other.
