  1. You have some good points. I don't know that there is one answer. My biggest criticism for him thus far this season was that he doesn't throw his receivers open. So to me, saying he has only a few options isn't an excuse for holding onto the ball
  2. By many accounts, TT doesn't read the whole field anyways, has a tendency to prematurely run with the ball and still takes the unnecessary big hits he shouldnt. I see what you mean but it's not like we're rolling out Peyton Manning
  3. I'm not arguing that he is the next Eric Moulds. I believe he has deserved more of an opportunity to run with the 1s. I'm sure there is a reason he hasn't been but I'd like to see more of him
  4. Partially. But not solely. Plenty of out breaking routes can be used to get players open and in space.
  5. I'm not sure this is just TT. It's schematic as well. How frequently do you see a Bills receiver catch a hitch, turn and get popped? That isn't on TT, that is a product of the route
  6. AFC wildcard teams had a field day today. We helped ourselves but then again, so did everyone else
  7. How can we adequately say he is simply only a RZ threat? He hasn't been given the opportunity or the targets to prove himself
  8. Before the snap? Zero. Mid play when TT dropped back, prematurely scrambled or flaked? Approx 4
  9. I think another thing to keep in mind is not how many times he gets the ball but how these catches happen. It might just be me but I feel that too often a bills receiver catches the ball, they are either moving backward or are immediately hit. Yes, Lynne's challenge will be to get Sammy the ball but to do so with opportunity to run after the catch
  10. I mean, you could argue that Sammy is producing as high a percentage of receiving yardage for his team with much less of an opportunity to do so. I really dislike OBJ, and I'm not that fond of Sammy, but it is clear to me that they need to increase his touches to account for 40% of all receptions. Today that would have been 5.
  11. And that guy who plays for the Giants? 40% of team receptions 49% of receiving yards Also two scores
  12. Just for comparison, Mike Evans recorded 38% of his team's receptions (8/21) and accumulated 47% of their receiving yards (104 of 220). Additionally, he recorded two scores. There is definitely an argument to be made here but I'm not sure it's a fair comparison in his first game back with limited action
  13. Sammy accumulated 25% of the team's receptions and 48% of the team's receiving yards while playing in limited action in his first game returning to action. Just saying
  14. I've been saying for a while, since Tyrod is quick to run anyways, why not move the pocket and roll him out more? This could counter pass rushers at times without wasting additional players on protection
  15. Absolutely. I played TE so it wasn't that big of a deal. QB is a different beast
  16. Happened to me in college and I continued to play. Healed that way. People always ask wtf happened but it's a great conversation starter!
  17. Fair weather fans are the worst
  18. I guess we have totally different ideas on how to build a receiving corp. To me, there is no long term potential to having Harvin. So since I believe you can get the same production out of other guys who have the potential to continue to develop (specifically Hunter more than Goodwin) I see no reason to keep Harvin around. More of the issue at hand is Tyrod deciding to trust his receivers and push the ball downfield like he did today with Sammy.
  19. Again, he hasn't done this for a team since early 2015. I think Goodwin has shown more of an ability lately to stretch the field
  20. Thank you. This is the NFL. I think people tend to forget that a record is not completely reflective of a team. Just because a team has only one two games doesn't mean you can simply write them off.
  21. I'm just curious, what has Harvin done recently to earn a spot in the starting lineup? IMO, I just don't see him as coming in and contributing more than anyone else currently is. Nor do I see his potential as outweighing that of Hunter's. He isn't the player he used to be.
  22. You'd think he earned it, right? So what are they seeing in practice or in film that we aren't? Playbook issues? Route running? Consistency?
  23. Can't you enjoy the win for five seconds? Dareus played great game while he was in there. Per Rex, Marcel wanted back in. But of course, MD is fat, lazy and not worth the money we pay him. Fire Whaley
  24. Didn't Whaley sign Hunter? Your argument in confusing. This isn't a basketball team
