Define "eating it up." I mean... we're all sitting here waiting for big changes to take place...the next regime. Eating it up would be to be happy with the status quo. We got complaining about this year's team pretty much out of our system months ago...where've you been?

It's basically a droid eris on steroids hardware-wise. And it's currently the only phone that runs the latest Android OS, but that doesn't mean much because it will be released to other Android phones in the very near future.

I just noticed that the Nexus will be coming to other carriers eventually. Pretty cool.

Not bad but will never fly with me as long as it's T-Mobile. The coolest thing about the Nexus release is that I get a preview of what Android 2.1 will look like when it comes to my Moto Droid.

It's not meaningless football...it's a game where one side (or both sides) have nothing to gain by putting its best assets at risk. The family of four will show up and a football game will take place...these are the goods that were provided in exchange for purchasing a ticket. Can I get a refund if the star QB gets hurt in the first minute or if the game is a one-sided blowout or I don't like the outcome? It's a slippery slope.

I agree with you, but I think you can put added stock in certain people because they are more responsible with their reports and have consistently shown to have reliable sources. Shefter is right to do this IMO because there have since been conflicting reports...including the one straight from the Bills. Again, relatively responsible journalism and paying attention to semantics. So? A ton of accurate news comes from secondary sources.
