How tough can it be to track that delivery?

I'll take "Things That Are Incapable of Happening" for $200, Alex.

Again. It's a choice. In the end, we both did the same thing to address the concerns: we moved.

No one is going to arrest us for protecting our property. No one. It's simply self defense. I'm at my property with a gun. Someone throws a brick through a window and tries to enter my building, we shoot. Self defense. Period. You got a gun to protect your house. Same thing. Would you shoot the guy who is trying to rob you, or let him rob you because you property is insured?
-
It would take a while to start, but it would end very quickly. It's easy to do what these thugs are doing against stand down orders from mayors and governors. Let's see how tough they are when armed citizens say "No more." Bloody and quick.
-
It's just a choice, so I have no reason to give you ****. What I do know is that if my company was under attack by a bunch of hired thugs, every one of my employees would be armed and by my side to protect it, and it has little do with much of anything other than standing up for what we've built and letting everyone know we will not just let anyone destroy it just to avoid a bad scene. Sixteen years we've been sacrificing and building this company for everyone and their families. Most of us have been together for 25 years. No one gets to destroy our company based on the great chance I'll get funds to rebuild it. But again, it's a choice I make as a small business owner. You would choose to let it go. Just a different choice.

What if you're protecting your business from the looters? What if you're on your last leg because of COVID,. and you and your friends grab some guns and stand outside your business to protect it? You good with that, or should they stay away?

I'm kind of surprised our resident leftists aren't here to decry what Antifa is doing throughout the country. Is it that they don't care or that they're busy getting that new flat screen for the family room?

Hey, would all you people in the blue states please keep it down. Those of us in the red states are trying to take a peaceful nap.

Josh Allen is training with Bills receivers in Florida

That's just damn impressive. To see this whole group come together voluntarily tells me a lot about what OBD is building. -
He really sucks at t his racist thing.

Kaepernick and the National Anthem

Why do you bother to engage him? He is one of the lowest-picked fruits on the board. Warren has one note: TDS with intent to incite. Put him on ignore and watch the general value of the conversations increase 100-fold. Save the board the bandwidth. Or at least stop quoting him. The stupidity is more than anyone should have to take. -

He doesn't need to be smart enough to know who Walter Headly is. He only needed to be smart enough to beat Hillary. And he was damn smart enough to do that. Now let's see if he'll be smart enough to beat a guy who says if you're black and don't vote for him, then "you ain't black." But yeah...let's mock Trump's intelligence. Porterhouse. -
Wow, he was shot! I thought he was choked! Damn, why is the liberal media hiding this truth? Only Tibs knows the real truth! Tell us more, Tibs! Tell us more! Damn, stupid should hurt like hell.

Wait until they ask Pelosi for COVID money to help repair the city.
-
They're thoughtful, is what they are. Just good, thoughtful people who really only care about the welfare of those around them. And a 65" Vizio.
-
That's exactly what it is. Deep down, Tibs and the leftists are begging for the locals to sweep this away so the riots can begin and they can post a false news report that the officers voted for Trump before someone correcting that lie. When you've got nothing, you'll take anything.,

You have to be kidding. The guy was the dumbest, most destructive presidential douche canoe in our lifetime. Imagine being the first black president who did so much so badly for people of color for eight years. His record on minority employment and prosperity is SO embarrassing, it's impossible to imagine even one person thinks he was a great president...beside, of course, Obama. My personal favorite was the way he weaponized the IRS against anyone who spoke out against him. Good times. Good times.

Any Nobel prize was rendered absolutely 100% worthless the very moment they gave one to Obama for giving a speech.

Partial rental/personal use. Which is why I lean toward ski lodging. My boat will sit in a slip a mile from my house. I'd be more apt to use a ski house because the drive is not nearly as convenient, so it would be a long weekend thing. I do know this, but I have some other things happening in my life right now that play a role in what I ultimately do long term with other property What I'm doing now, and only right now, is trying to take advantage of a two-percent drop in my my mortgage; if that is a 15 or a 30 will play out in the next few weeks when things come into focus. That's enough personal sharing for now. I'm not very smart, but I'm not very dumb. I'm just the single most blessed man in the world with options.

The property tax on my CA house was $12k a year. The property tax on my ID home, which not only has another 700 sq ft, but 5 acres compared to my little postage stamp CA lawn, is $2500. By the time you start throwing in income tax, it's no wonder half the state either lives in cardboard boxes or are undocumented, but get ALL the benefits of a resident. But it snows here everyone once in a while and we have to spend weekends skiing, so, y'know, you get what you pay for.

I tell anyone who will listen: I moved from a state with 40M people to a state with 1.5M on purpose. I got tired of carrying the tax burden of those who refuse to carry it themselves. ' But, yknow...who doesn't love a Broadway show or white sandy beaches?
-
That was my thinking. No sense waiting if I can lock on 2.7% at 15, but the 30 is about to drop below 3% as well, and I've been toying with the idea of getting another piece of property here. Trying to decide if I want something on the water or something near the ski slope, turn it into a rental, but if I can drop my mortgage payment to a lower rate, it frees up cash for the other property. In the end, the larger issue is I'm not leaving the house I'm in. I'll die here.
