  1. I believe he is now employed by NASA.
  2. it’s called the “Bile chick heritage classic” per the thread title. I am not sure if it is connected to the “josh has yellow coloring” thread.
  3. Time to amputate that liver.
  4. Wow re Beasley. That’s even more impressive now that we know how gimpy he was.
  5. Sorry, sorry, not sorry, sorry, sorry....
  6. I like it. But even this dog would probably let Kelce catch a bunch of 8-yard passes before biting his leg. by the way, Kelce seriously had zero bad games this year. The closest he came was against the Broncos, where he only had 3 catches for 30 yards. But that was because the chiefs scored so many defensive and ST TD’s in that game, that they didn’t really use their offense.
  7. I really like the idea of getting Rex Burkhead on the cheap as a replacement for both Taiwan Jones and TJ Yeldon. He can fill both their roles on offense and ST. The risk is health— 31 years old and coming off a torn ACL. But seems like we could get him for cheap.
  8. agree. I can’t tell you the sense of calm I have with those guys locking down the back. They are reliable and fundamentally sound.
  9. Is Levi only a RFA? If so, then they will tender him and he will remain as the 2. Would love to see Dane though work in the mix and take over Norman’s spot.
  10. Gaines and answer shouldn’t be in the same sentence. Dude won’t make it out of OTA’s without an injury. Re Dane, his problem is speed, as far as I can tell from his limited snaps. I noticed him a few times getting run by and he doesn’t have the closing speed of Levi.
  11. As @DCOrange mentioned, Burkhead is a free agent. That guy is a killer at figuring out how to get those short 3rd down conversions-- plays violently and contorts is body really well. Then he brings the dimension as a great pass catcher. I assume his blocking is good, but am not sure. But I am loving the idea of Burkhead now in FA.
  12. Agree entirely. I would love to grab White or Burkhead. That’s exactly the type of RB this offense needs. We need to run a bit more to keep teams honest, but we shouldn’t be messing with our identity. Just look at the chiefs— it’s not like they were pounding the rock last night.
  13. maybe not every play— that is probably an exaggeration. But they needed to double Jones more. I am pretty sure he was 1 on 1 with Mongo all night. Steelers blitz a lot too— and the Bills figured out how to double Hayward, block Watt, and protect Allen.
  14. They needed to double Jones on every play— the same way they treated Hayward.
  15. Anyone find it interesting that Romo during the game tried to downplay his dinner with Fitz and Josh last year? I wasn’t sure if Romo was basically saying it was really much ado about nothing, or if he was trying to downplay it to maintain his objectivity as an announcer (not play favorites)?
  16. There are some easy re-signings of some depth guys on here at low-cost deals (Marlowe, McKenzie, Nsheki). I also can see the Bills locking up Levi— who really came on— to a modest-size deal. Other than that, I think they let everyone else walk, including Milano. With the lower salary cap this year, I think we will see the market flooded with more guys willing to do 1-year prove it deals. So there could be some cheap FA stop-gap signings we could make.
  17. In the playoffs though, I think Baltimore brings the best defense to stop you guys. And Lamar has that big play ability. I actually also thought the browns matched up really well with you guys. they just sort of blew it with some bad execution errors.
  18. not necessarily. Steelers could never really beat the pats. They got their Super Bowls because other teams knocked the pats off in the playoffs. That said, I get your point about wanting to improve to beat the chiefs— but we still can be successful and even win some Super Bowls if we can’t solve them. At the rate that Mahomes and his cast is playing, no team in the league will beat them. They are going to steamroll the Bucs.
  19. i was day dreaming about that this morning. What a total punk.
  20. I blame the browns. if they had lost to the Steelers, then I think the ravens beat KC. They match up much better with them. Or the browns could have beat Henne when they had the chance. Either way, the browns are to blame.
  21. I agree. Mahomes outplayed Josh. Josh needed to take the smart short throws yesterday, which Mahomes took. I am sure he learns a ton from this game.
  22. I don’t get why josh didn’t take a page from that playbook. We needed to basically make 5-yard throws. He refused to do so for most of the game. That’s all Mahomes did.
