  1. Should we be worried about Diggs’ knee?
  2. that’s because there isn’t really any such thing as LA Rams or LA Chargers fans. do people in LA just randomly get to pick one of these teams to support?
  3. This strikes me as another attempt to start a Zach Ertz thread! 😃
  4. If Josh is mastering the check down, he will seriously be unstoppable.
  5. Totally agree. That was dying down and she threw it and slinked away.
  6. True, but good teams get a little more lucky too, it seems. How much dumb luck has befallen the Patriots over the years? It’s astounding. Also, we got some pretty good breaks ourselves last year, including a questionable PI call at the end of the Rams game to win it. But even separating out fluke plays, good teams do know how to grind it out and win close games or games when they aren’t playing their best.
  7. I like the effort! But good teams win close games.
  8. Agreed re Gray. BTW, some of those media talking heads back then calling all the players “thugs”— not a good look today.
  9. My view on taunting is it should be a 5-yard “walk-back” penalty. Don’t lose a down or the play or anything. A 15-yarder is brutal.
  10. I don’t know much about Fromm, but I wouldn’t call his pass a “desperation 4th down throw.” Under pressure, he threw a real clutch beauty of a pass that won us the game. Maybe he is just a PSer, but that was a clutch play.
  11. Agree. Really interesting to see it too from the Jermaine O’Neal angle, and how it impacted him.
  12. the third down play was also impressive in a different way. He was almost strip sacked on a jail Break and fought off the end, stepped up, and threw it away (passed Duke).
  13. didn’t get a chance to watch. How did Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle look? I have heard some great things out of Brown in camp, yet I also hear how our ends blow by him all the time.
  14. Re CB depth, you wonder if Josh Norman may be an option. I wasn’t a fan of this, but his knowledge of the defense and the comfort level by the coaches might make him pretty serviceable.
  15. I am not in any of the markets for any of these 7 pm games— but I guess they are randomly showing the Titans game where I am. I figured there was only one option— oh well. Will have to get it on replay.
  16. I am getting the Titans game. I thought the Bills was the national one on NFLN.
  17. I can’t get this on my directv app— huh?
  18. Yeah, that seems pretty hefty to me to be able to squeeze into an already pretty tight cap situation. But the Steelers have always been creative with the cap.
  19. I don’t understand how the Steelers can do this. Schobert has a pretty big contract.
  20. you can probably replace “EJ Manuel” everywhere you write “Jones,” and you’d have pretty much the same write-up every homer Bills fan was writing about 5 years ago. 😉
  21. I used to be a die-hard Coke Zero drinker, before I kicked that habit. Now I am a sparkling water addict. I even have a detailed rankings on my favorite sparkling water brands (with the glass bottle topo Chico clearly at #1).
  22. Very helpful. My gut has been telling me to call around tomorrow— mid-August is always the time I usually call.
  23. Had the exact same reaction.
  24. going into camp, I had Sanders as my “surprise cut” based mostly on concerns over injury and that he seemed to be right on the edge of jumping the shark. But from all these camp reports, when he has been healthy in camp so far, he has looked really good— so it seems like they may stick with him despite the injury risks. Will really hurt us if he is banged up like this all year.
