    My favorite part of that Texans game so far was learning that Culley has Romeo crenell— possibly the worst head coach/ game manager in history— helping him with game management.

    it is sort of interesting their total lack of WR depth. If Hill were to go down, they would be really stuck. I am not banking on Josh Gordon and Hardeman.

    Pitts looks like he is a lot thinner than i remember— he looks like a WR. does he ever play in line?

    i think it has a lot to do with the target. The NFL refs seem more likely to protect these older less mobile QB’s. These young guys get blown up, and it’s a different standard.

    i believe we lost the AFCCG solely due to coaching. I remember in the lead up to the game, the way Daboll talked about Spagnola during his media sessions, I just felt Ike Spags is in his head. And then the game proved that. our offensive coaching and gameplan is going to have to be at its A game.

    I agree. That game was shaping into a 14 or 17-point PSU win. Has to be frustrating for you as a fan. I think Iowa is solid (unreal ball skills by their DB’s), but “solid” as in the same tier as Michigan and Michigan State. Like a top-25 team.

    I think penn state would have won that game had their QB not gotten injured. But I am not sure either Penn state or Iowa is legitimately a top 5 team— just sort of built like your old school 1980s teams that can’t really compete with your top-tier speed athletes in the SEC, etc.
