  1. I am not too sure that they have figured out their offensive identity yet. I think it is closer to the chiefs though that the eagles. And when this team was really clicking in 2020, it was lots of RPOs and beasley getting 100 yards and Diggs 100 yards every game. Will be interesting to see it evolve.
  2. Stressing about missing this game. Have to go my niece’s birthday party in Ohio. I suspect Browns game will be on. Not sure if I should (try to) watch on my phone or wait until later and try to avoid media.
  3. I would give him an even longer horizon. We need him 100% for the stretch run and playoffs.
  4. I will say that the one thing McD is really good at it is scheming up an antidote to a high-powered offense. He has done it with KC and Baltimore, which became the blueprint for how other teams then defended them. I have a feeling he will have some tricks up his sleeve.
  5. I don’t think it has anything to do with Kincaid. They just aren’t targeting him. That said, I actually think that will change this weekend.
  6. For real. People complaining about lack of weapons don’t realize that Kincaid could probably catch 8+ balls, if they were actually thrown to him. when the bills offense was clicking in 2020, Beasley was catching like 8+ per game. Kincaid can be that big slot.
  7. I do love seeing the Lions do well. Another rust belt franchise with not a lot of success. Plus, love seeing Goff do well, after McVay tossed him to the curb.
  8. This is my first time seeing Jordan Love. Is he usually this bad?
  9. are you serious? Sunday ticket won’t carry the Peacock game?
  10. “unofficially clear him” is the word salad that McDaniel usually spews. As smart of an offensive coach as he is, he is always saying a bunch of dumb and confusing things.
  11. There is a really good angle here for the “feast of the Seven fishes” reference.
  12. How did the rams score 23 against the Niners? This is a totally incompetent offense.
  13. Also, why again did the rams trade Akers and keep Kyran Williams? Akers seems a lot better.
  14. These games are brutal tonight.
  15. If one used simple common sense, that would be an interception. But based on the convoluted NFL catch rules, it will probably be overturned.
  16. Talk about rolling the dice with Burrow. I am worried for him that that is an Achilles waiting to happen.
  17. Was going to say the same thing. That was a surprise injury too at the last second. That was absolutely devastating for us.
  18. I honestly have no idea what they are doing with Wilson and why they are sticking with him. Wentz would be an easy upgrade. They could trade a 4th or 5th rounder to the Steelers for mason Rudolph, or to the Texans for Davis mills or case Keenum.
  19. still have nightmares of Brady yelling “43 is the mike,” before then abusing Bryan Scott.
  20. Why in the world are the jets sticking with Zach Wilson?
  21. In all seriousness, I have a feeling Tua is going to take some hits on Sunday. Milano’s wasn’t even the worst; remember when AJE absolutely destroyed him? I have a good feeling about our D against that O. Obviously they are going to get yards and score points. But I think we can generate some big plays on D, and hold them (to at least under 70!).
  22. I am not sure it mattered whether you put in there Derek Carr of Jimmy G, because they look like the exact same mediocre QB.
  23. Crazy, because that Eberflus defense in Indy was always great.
  24. this is really alarming. I think his strength was zone coverage. His weaknesses really related to run D. That he laid this sort of egg has to be a bad sign for chicago.
  25. I hate the second and long runs. And I think that put us behind the sticks all day. By the way, I sort of wonder if there would be less griping had Gabe Davis gotten both feet down on that beautiful throw into the endzone and we would have been up 20-0 going into half.
