  1. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patrio...ad.php?t=119603 To sum up: Wilfork b1tches about getting fined for his obvious cheap shot on Losman compared to Pollard's legal unintentional hit. They then go on to discuss how there is a NFL wide conspiracy against the Pats. It's obvious to these morons that the refs have it out for the Pats and the LEAGUE WIDE POSTER BOY. I don't know what's more ridiculous; the insistence that Wilfork is not a dirty player and his hit was not dirty or the contention that the league has it out for the team that gave us "just give it to em" and the tuck rule.
  2. Actually, for me watching the Bills play is the farthest thing from pure heaven. I have come to accept this Bills fandom of mine as a burden. It is my lot in life to suffer through season after season of getting my hopes up only to have them crushed in new and unexpected ways every year. Preaseason. I watch every last snap. The entire time, I like to watch the backups and envision how, like all those who came before them, they will shatter my hopes and dreams in future NFL contests. I could care less if they win. I just spend the entire game holding my breath and hoping for no injuries.
  3. Maybe he just needs a sandwich...
  4. I heard some talking heads discussing how Mckelvin will be an outstanding returner for us and thought, "huh, don't we have two of the best returners in the league already?" Mcgee is a pro bowler and wasn't Roscoe 2nd to Hester on punt returns last year? These two guys are among the most accomplished returners in the league and we're going to replace them with a rook?
  5. His reports are always weak. I guess thats what you get with an employee of the team. They're not going to let him say much, especially of draft day.
  6. As far as the schedule is concerned, the only hting I care about is that the Bills better not get NE coming off their bye week for the umpteenth time in a row.
  7. My collection is: Flutie Moulds Mcgahee Sam Adams I almost bought a TKO jersey last year. Glad I didn't. I don't think I'll buy anymore. It'll just feel like I'm cursing that player to be somewhere else within two years
  8. Seems Iggle fans weren't too fond of Walker. Comments about his work ethic and his effectiveness against the run. http://wingheads.com/index.php?showtopic=22354
  9. Well, the first thing you have to do cut that list down to actual athletes. So Earnhardt, Mickleson, Patrick, and Wie are out. I'm sorry, golfers and drivers are not athletes. Not saying what they do isn't hard, but they aren't athletes. Also, I agree with you that teams should not be here, so that takes out the soccer team and the Colts. From whats left, I'd pick Bode Miller.
  10. In order for the Bills to have their best shot at the playoffs, I'll be rooting for Miami AND the Patriots!? Do I still get to root for the Bills
  11. I completely agree. Earlier in the season, I can't tell you how many times I not so quietly referred to the Bills as a bunch of losers. For the last few years, they've found every possible way to lose. It looks like they're finally coming around. Maybe, just maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel
  12. I'll start: This team has fight. They never quit in this game. Also, Spikes was actually out and about today, made a few plays. Maybe he'll start to get better and get close to what he used to be.
  13. Again, there was a lot of times we could have come up with a play and didn't, but this loss sure would be a lot easier to take if we hadn't lost to the Chargers AND the refs
  14. You know, losing to a team like the chargers isn't that bitter of a pill to swallow. But when a young team that is starting to believe in themselves gets totally !@#$ed by the shity damn refs again, it makes it a little more difficult to take. Yeah, we gave up that long drive after the ref jobbing, yeah there were some coaching errors. I can take that stuff. Those BS calls make me insane. Hard enough to beat the best team in league, it's a lot harder to berat the refs too.
  15. Agreed, the defense needs a lot of help up front. Still, in the past after a play like that I would have thought, "oh, so that's how they're going to blow this one." Instead, I was thinking, "doesn't matter, they're still winning this game." On the plus side, the line on the other side of the ball looks better, they did a good job against two great DT's today. I like our linebackers and secondary, upgrading the middle of the D-line will make this defense solid again.
  16. Friggin idiot. If they are 3 - 12 going into the last game, I could care less if they win. Lose, get the better draft pick, woo-friggin-hoo we suck and will be picking top three. That's new. But if they are still alive, if they are starting to play well, to win late... I want a win!! Even if the chances at the playoffs are slim, at least our young team is gaining confidence and improving. This team is finally showing some heart and a winning attitude. You could just feel that they believed they were going to win this game no matter what. That's a big turnaround from the "how can we lose this time" deal we've gotten for the last seven years. You can have your top five pick, I'll take a maturing team learning to win.
  17. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I knew the Bills were going to win a close game. Usually, in games like this I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. They are learning what it takes to win and you can sense it watching them. Two weeks, two game winning drives. Maybe we do have our QB afterall.
  18. What channel is the show on? In week one, my guide said the Marv Levy Show was on before the game, but when I turned it on, it was just the crappy CBS pregame.
  19. Didnt IRvin respond to Tiki on Mike and Mike, I thought I saw it somewhere, but didnt hear what he said. Anybody?
  20. Sounds like what everyone was saying about the jets game. To paraphrase, "The Jets suck ass. The Bills will beat them senseless w/o TKO, save him for the Vikings." Look how that turned out. As soon as he is healthy, he plays. Lets face it, this team is not good enough to take anything for granted.
  21. Ok halftime, can we go home and play the lions now? In all seriousness, I agree with a poster above. They need to come out in the 2nd half and show some fight. The goal should be to win the 2nd half. Do not lay down. Keep your chin up, keep plugging, walk out of the stadium knowing that you have a lot to improve on, and go to work on it. Learn form this, do not let it destroy you.
  22. You know... I figured we probably wouldn't win this game, but this is bullsh!t. Offense, Defense, Special Teams. DO SOMETHNG!!!
