1. 1.  ND hasn't played every service academy yet.

    2.  What's this I see:

Keep telling yourself that Rutgers is this best team in the country...but don't forget to pick Cinncinati this weekend.

What's sad is Rutgers is actually a very good football team with a great future ahead of them.  You just can't see that they need to earn their respect with more than a one big win.

ND has played Navy, Air Force, and they will be playing Army this week. Who did I forget? The Coast Guard?

Show me where I said RU was the best team in CF.

The BE also has the best winning % of any conference outside of their own.

  2. And yeah, everyone else on this board is the problem except you.  Thats it Ed, keep telling yourself that.

It's OK that you don't believe in Rutgers. I mean, you believed in your team and look what happened?

Bart should be crapping himself, because ND is about to drop out of the top 10 (they would have awhile back had they not played every single military academy  ). I'm waiting for them to schedule the Air National Guard next year. :D

Even the BCS computers have RU ranked at #2.

That's OK though. We'll just continue to prove everybody wrong.

  3. I used to.  We have since moved to back to the U.S. and live in Chesapeake, VA.  Thanks for the suggestion I had kind of written off Honda because I didn't want to pay for an Accord and I'm not crazy about the Civics.  I'll go check one of these out tomorrow most likely.

The Fit will run you anywhere between 13-16k.

The Fit is also roomier than the Civic.

  4. Ok, so my reaction was a bit over the top. But Bobby really is losing it. He's, in all honestly, a shell of the offensive genius he used to be. The onyl way i could stand him coming back next year is if they completely overhaul the offensive staff and bobby gives up control. Stand on the sidelines bobby, look pretty, and collect your wins.

Honestly, he's gotten bad. To the point of attacking the fans bad. This past week, he threw the players under the bus after the game. Funny, because whenever a player is interviewed, they always make comments on how they are not well coached and they feel the coaches arent preparing them enough for the games. And that there is no semblance of a coherent game plan. Against Wake, weatherford had to go to the QB coach and ask him what was going wrong, and what could he do to correct it, because the coach was doing nothing on the sidelines. Not even talking wiht him afetr the drives.

Also, whenever bobby gets asked a difficult question, or a question he doesnt want to answer, he attacks them and gets defensive. Its gotten to the point that almost every week he tells us fans and the media that we dont/didnt coach football so we dont have any idea what we are talking about. The media has, and the fans are turning on bobby and the program. But the president wont do anything about it, because he played for bobby back in the 70s.

That sucks. I saw an interview with BB last week and I saw his condescending attitude.

Question: How is the campus newspaper handling this? Are the students making an outrage, or is it just the fans?

I know Jenn Sterger writes for SI (I got to meet her at the Rutgers game  ), anyone tried to get her to write a not too flattering piece? The more negative news coming out of this, the more pressure put on BB to resign.

  5. The Honda Fit, by far.

I average 38 mpg, the car is fun to drive, and it's a Honda.

You also get 41.9 cubic ft of space, and it is rated one of the most reliable cars.

Do you live in Thailand or something like that? I seem to remember that. If so, overseas, the car is known as the Honda Jazz.

  6. I would be all for it, however my efforts would be futile in that the million dollars would either go to DeLuca and his brilliant insight as to how swapping quarterbacks will fix the Bills, or LSI Cadets and his never-ending search for someone to blame week in and week out.

My guess would be you and the "circle-jerks" would win. I mean, you guys are approaching about 150k posts between all of you.

  7. I interned at a Hospice while in college.

It was called The Center For Hope, and it was located in Linden, NJ.

My experience was VERY positive. The way I explain in to people was, was that it was like a hospital with a spa-like setting.

Pain management is very important, and they Doctors and nurses will take great care in making sure that pain is as limited as can be.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or PM me.

  8. bobby's getting torn to pieces today on the radio. especially since he tossed our players under the bus and decided that weatherford is starting next week.

Lets see, weatherford gets benched for poor play in our first 7 games. Xavier Lee takes over at QB and plays 2 decent games, not to mention hes a hell of a lot more athletic. Xavier starts off 5-13 with 2 int's against wake, and bobby pulls him. weatherford proceeds to go 4-15 with 2 int's and bobby decides that drew is starting next week.

that senile fat sh-- needs to step down and get someone competent in there.

I was going to ask you what you thought about Bowden, but I guess you just answered it.

Is there anyone in house that can take over? Or do you have to start that task of searching around the country.

Maybe Coker could move up the state a bit! :D

  9. I'm well aware...doesn't mean I won't try to drink a case of beer and get rowdy as hell at the game.

Haha, Cincy does have a great defense though. I was hoping they would beat WVU.

When their offense catches up to their defense...they are going to be a contender.

  10. 1.OSU

    2. Michigan

    3. Rutgers

    4. USC

    5. Arkansas

    6. ND

    7. Florida

    8. Wisconsin

    9. Lousiville

    10. WVU

Looking in: LSU, Boise State, Wake Forest, Texas

-I think Michigan will win this week. I might be wrong, but as long as it's not a blowout either way, the loser shouldn't drop.

-Rutgers is undefeated in a BCS conference. The beat the number three team, and all they have done is win. They are number 3 right now.

-USC-If Rutgers loses, USC should play for the national championship. I don't know if they could beat any of the top three, but it would be interesting games nonetheless.

-Arkansas has been on a tear lately. Can anyone stop them?

-Florida and ND have struggled too much lately to be put in the top five. Tell me, will ND be playing the Coast Guard this year

  11. I'm sorry, they proved that the only two teams in all of college football capable of beating them are Michigan and Ohio St.?  When did they do that?

They proved that they are *probably* the best team in the Big East.  But that doesn't change the fact that you talk so much sht about them, but then still predict them to lose on gameday.

    835336

I'm honest in my assessments. I am not a blind homer like thr rest of you guys are. You talk so much crap about ND, Faustus pretty much wants to blow Urban Mayer, and BF talked like Texas was/is the second coming of Christ.

  12. :(

Not this again.  Funny how you made that same statment before the UL game, but then predicted Rutgers would lose.  Now you are a little puffed up again, so you throw it out there one more time.

Your opinions would mean a little more if you didn't talk sht from Sunday-Friday, but then back down on game day just to cover your ass.

    834988

They proved it. And please tell me you ranked ND #4 in the other thread. :P Who does ND play next week, the Coast Guard?

  13. Well, at least I've learned not to talk football with you.

    834632

Oh really? Everyone has ridiculed Rutgers all year? What have they done? Beat everyone.

They shut down Louisville's number 3 offense. Did you even watch the game?

The fact is, is that you're scared. Rutgers can beat anyone. They are on the same level as the big two.

  14. 1. Ohio State

    2. Michigan

    3. USC

    4. Florida

    5. Notre Dame

    6. Rutgers

    7. Arkansas

    8. West Virginia

    9. Wisconsin

    10. Louisville

Pretty much what I expected, although I thought zero losses would be enough to put Rutgers above ND.

    834584

The computers has Rutgers ranked #2.
