1. Then why are other conferences trying to raid our coaches.

    You have Miami wanting Leavitt or Schiano, D'Antonio just went to Michigan St., Petrino is always wanted by someone, and Alabama wants Rich Rodriguez.

    It's funny though, that no one wants pornstache. :doh:

  2. Same here.  19-1 in two years against teams that were not in the top 4 in the nation.  We're used to winning our share of those big games that we've lost recently but ND simply isn't at that level yet.

    Which would make Rutgers the '76 Bucs.

    You have to come up with your own insult. No need to mooch off of mine. :doh::D

  3. Wow, you are f-king stupid.

    850051

    More of the Texas alma mater...

    The women, look like men

    The men, look like women

    If you draft one of our linemen

    You are sure to mourn

    We are the mighty longhooooooooooooorns

  4. Did you just really post the freaking alma mater?

    850036

    Does it look like an alma mater? Does it sound like an alma mater? Then gee, I guess it is the alma mater! :doh::D

    I know, it doesn't beat Texas'...

    We a go a huntin

    We a go a fishin

    We like our meat, and we like our corn

    We are the mighty longhooooooooooooooooooooooorns

  5. Legitimate at what? Having the shortest Top 10 stay in college football history after the longest wait to get there?

    850006

    Who cares how long they were there for you dolt?

    The fact is, is that we have a chance to play in the Orange bowl, and if not, we're only going to be better next year. The team is young, we have a great recruiting class coming, and our coach is also a good one.

    My father sent me to old Rutgers,

    And resolv'd that I should be a man;

    And so I settled down,

    in that noisy college town,

    On the banks of the old Raritan.

    (Chorus)

    On the banks of the old Raritan, my boys,

    where old Rutgers ever more shall stand,

    For has she not stood since the time of the flood,

    On the banks of the old Raritan.

    II.

    Her ardent spirit stirred and cheered me

    From the day me college years began;

    Gracious Alma Mater mine;

    Learning's fair and honored shrine;

    On the banks of the old Raritan.

    (Chorus)

    III.

    I love her flaming far-flung banner

    I love her triumphs proud to scan,

    And I glory in her fame

    That's immortalized her name.

    On the banks of the old Raritan.

    (Chorus)

    IV.

    My heart clings closer than the ivy

    As life runs out its fleeting span,

    To the stately, ancient walls

    Of her hallowed, classic halls

    On the banks of the old Raritan.

    (Chorus)

    V.

    Then sing aloud to Alma Mater,

    And keep the scarlet in the van;

    For with her motto high,

    Rutgers' name shall never die,

    On the banks of the old Raritan.

  6. ND lost because Charlie Weis has decided to dress like a trash ass bum, ala belichick.

    Wear a !@#$ing collared shirt and dress respectable, you fatass slob! You are making ND look like sh-- on the sidelines as well as on the field.

    849805

    Who cares what he dresses like? :doh:

    Maybe he's able to relax more in comfortable clothing.

  7. The only team in the Least I'd be worried about would be WVU. Louisville? Bzzt. Rutgers?

    You've GOT to be kidding me.

    849877

    Haha, you've got to be joking. Penn State sucks the big one. I mean, you do have wins over the powerhouses Temple, Mich State, YSU, and Akron. :doh:

    Rutgers is legitimate.

  8. Isn't it the BL, for Big Least?

    Rutgers couldn't beat Cincinnati?????????  Damn.

    My Nittany Lions are about what I thought they'd be after losing 25 seniors:  good enough to beat the lesser teams on the schedule (8-0) and not good enough to beat the really good teams on the schedule (0-4 vs the Top 10 teams on the schedule).

    849664

    Oh give me a break. the top three teams from the "BL" could beat your PSU. :doh:

  9. No not at all ... faith obviously plays a large part in it for some people. I just find it humerous that people attack The Bible and Christianity as a whole whenever they seem to get the chance.

    849226

    It's not entirely Christianity. I pick on all religions, because it's a bunch of crap.

    When religious folks stop telling people to live their lives, and mind their own business, is when some of the "backlash" against your religion will stop. Until then, keep on bombing those abortion clinics. :lol:

  10. Lets hope are LB's or coaching staff can make some adjustments. I agree it certainly doesnt look too promising. However, if we can some how hold him to under 100yds and a single TD I think that would be pretty encouraging. If not miraculous!!!

    849016

    I think we have a better chance of daquixer not fellating Clements than we do keeping LT under 100.

  11. And you're accusing me of crack usage.   ;)  :devil:

    848996

    I was kidding, hence the tongue smiley! :lol:

    It would probably be only one touchdown! :lol::lol::P

  12. I don't think Rutgers could beat Boise State.

    The Broncos looked pretty impressive yesterday.  :devil:

    848987

    You're lucky Rutgers isn't playing OSU. On a neutral field, Rutgers wins by 2 td's. ;)

  13. On the whole Schiano thing...

    He's not going to Miami. When asked by reporters yeaterday, he stated, "I plan on staying here for a long, long time." Asked if that meant he had any interest in Miami whatsoever, he stated, "did you just hear what I said? I said long, long time."

    Rutgers is prepared to offer Schiano a 10 year, 22 million dollar deal. I work for the athletic dept. part time, and while this isn't exactly a great secret, his wife wants nothing to do with South Florida and he is building a house on the NJ campus as we speak.
