  1. Make. This. Happen. I know it's entirely up to him, and he probably wants to win games at this point, but a good season here on a prove-me 1 year contract, could earn him another multi-year deal to retire on. Seems like a good solution to a problem right now, from the Bill's standpoint. No one was performing in that D in Cleveland. I believe he can still play.
  2. There is a rare Pantheon of skill position players who can say they scored 9 TDs in a single season. He will get another opportunity, from here it's entirely up to him. If he continues to think it'll come without working for it, his career is over. No one will have to worry about him coming back to bite us. The bills I'm sure took it all into account and laid down there bet. I for one agree with it.
  3. If Tyrod takes steps forward, they stay relatively healthy, and the D improves, then they can surprise even our most optimistic fan. Without even one of those ingredients, I don't think they surprise even our most pessimistic fans.
  4. He can be 'in the club' all he wants, as long as he performs on sundays, and stops failing drug tests (or begins showing up for them).
  5. Vegas is behind this somehow. I just haven't figured out how.
  6. Fat , drunk and stupid is no way to go through life. Nice reference! That said I like how Marcel is "family' and the team will stand by him. Guess KW was a step child. Red-headed
  7. Now the crusade makes sense Points for standing behind it
  8. I won't even pretend that I'd treat the two the same. Marcel is an elite player at what I deem one of the most important positions on the field. He might be able to go full OJ before I'd cut him.
  9. See ya! This guy sent some of the weirdest tweets I've ever read. Between some that were obviously meant to be dm's, and others that were just plain incoherent. They've seen what he's brought to the table this year, and it wasn't enough to warrant keeping him.
  10. Not a bad deal all around. Well played. I like Tyrod a lot. If it doesn't work out, I'd say he earned his 2yr/37m more than Osweiler.
  11. Obviously they mean nothing, but these rankings are screwy. Osweiler was replaced by a guy who very nearly couldn't throw the football anymore.
  12. Watching him early in his career here in Cleveland, it seemed like he dropped 100% of the balls thrown his way. Maybe fighting for his NFL life will benefit him, but I have seen nothing to say that I'd rather have him over virtually anyone else.
  13. Hoping for the best here, not sure what that is at this point. When could we reasonably expect to have something definitive?
  14. I like your enthusiasm, but seems a bit over the top. Could we throw some incentives in there just to hedge the bet?
  15. I'm a OSU Homer for sure, but I wouldn't give this title to us. In my mind it would be Bama, ND, USC who knows. OSU sure had a long drought from '68 to '02.
  16. The little I know about him, he seems easy to root for. Good name for a LB to.
  17. It's been a difficult 20 hours or so. Went to bed thinking we got Lucroy, woke up finding we got Miller, then Lucroy nixes the deal. Deadline isn't over, and we need to add a bat, preferably at the catcher position.
  18. I'm not really for any owner being involved from an X's and O's standpoint, or personnel. They should write checks and choose the people who call the x's and O's, pick personnel, then back away. That said, if I owned them I'd almost certainly meddle where I shouldn't. From that standpoint, her being involved vs anyone else doesn't bother me. Seems to be a bit of a loaded question.
  19. I'm sure he'll have lots of success. At some point someone ahead of him on the depth chart will get hurt. And he'll step up and fill the roll admirably. Their offense is predicated on finding WR willing to put themselves in quite a lot of danger. There is a reason why few of Brady's receivers were successful anywhere else. It's very much the system itself that makes these players. I'd expect Hogan to be no different.
  20. It has to be winnable by somebody in the division who isn't NE. Eventually Brady HAS to slow down. He's already missing 1/4 of the season. I simply cant take many more seasons of listening to that fanbase gloat.
