  1. I figured that they went with the single-back offense and 3-4 defense because that's what the Super Bowl era teams predominantly used.
  2. http://photos.pennlive.com/photos/patriot-...39c098bbd44.jpg Nice vertical!
  3. Not that I agree, but I think his issue is not with Wood as a player, but more with what we didn't get with that pick (ie a tackle).
  4. Obviously the voting was slanted to the 90s teams - maybe younger voters who don't know anyone from the 60s thru the 80s. Major surprises to me, all from the Super Bowl teams: Conlan Odomes Lofton Henry Jones Ruben Brown's inclusion also surprised me. For the record, I voted for Jim Haslett, Bob James, Golden Wheels Dubenion, Tony Greene, and Reggie McKenzie in the place of those 5. I too had 4 guards and no tackles.
  5. Don't be hard on everyone, jester - we're all just droopy from a long hard day yesterday
  6. Only cause he's short - he was in front of me.
  7. http://www.buffalonews.com/galleries/gallery/153192.html - 3rd pic, in my TBD 8th tailgate t-shirt
  8. The Bills' 50th anniversary O-Line featured 4 guards and a center - maybe we're going to that model in real-life.
  9. Ironic that we drafted Levitre and Wood together, ain't it?
  10. Shhhhh - I'm just trying to see if I can get EZC there early to set up the tables...
  11. Nope - 6 AM as always.
  12. "Upside" is such a weird term - to me it means the potential to be much better than he is now. Do you use the 11th pick on upside/potential? That's my point - big question mark. Could be huge, but it's not a slam dunk (not than many draft picks are).
  13. I was thinking the same thing, if they decide to use him that way. It sounds like they want him to continue to bulk up for the line though. I honestly don't know how he'd be in coverage or anything like that, but he was the first comparable player that popped into my head. Could become quite confusing for linemen to use him in zone blitz situations - put him and Kawika next to each other...
  14. The more I read about Byrd the more I like that pick. I would have been slightly happier with Orakpo over Maybin, but love the 2 interior lineman picks.
  15. From April 3rd: http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=534800
  16. Ask if those commercials about where Labatt Blue comes from are true. Or maybe come up with one of your own.
  17. I'm having one done a week from Monday.
  18. I always liked Claire from Six Feet Under.
  19. He's probably got some trade value, and if you want to keep Roscoe for punt return duties would this be a decent compromise? Personally I like Reed and he's become very productive as a 3rd down slot receiver. But perhaps Johnson and/or Hardy can pick up the slot duties.
  20. If you're a season ticket holder you should have gotten an email with instructions. You can also call the ticket office I think.
  21. He's kind of on a roll - wasn't one of his last statements as a Bill something to the effect of "To go to the Pro Bowl - that's what it's all about. That's why we play this game". Moron (Peters, not you Steely)
