Buddy said in the presser yesterday that he would only bring someone he offered the job to up to meet Mr. Wilson, and this was as a token of courtesy and respect to the owner. If you believe this (and I do) it means Nix had complete control of the search and hiring process. Following this line of thinking, with the history Buddy has with Marty, it makes sense that Buddy would only bypass Marty for sound reason(s). He would know Marty better than most - things you could only know by working with someone. There's gotta be something else there - something that there's no way any outsider (including the media) would know.

This thread sounds like one of those sting operations to catch criminals - tell 'em they won a TV and tell them where to pick it up then arrest 'em.

The guys on WGR were sniping at Nix too. While Nix didn't make any friends with that remark I like that he blasted them with it. The word "fabrication" might have been a little strong - "speculation" would have been a better choice.

One made the all rookie team and the other was even better than him til his leg got broke.

I used to go see Over The Garden Wall at the Penny Arcade here in Rochester - a great tribute band from Toronto.

Nope. Thinking about it, my password probably didn't take long to crack against an automated brute force attack. I don't think any of my PCs have viruses. I have accessed the account from public wi-fi but not since November.

Actually iGoogle does seem to have an email gadget which you can customize for your own email account. MyMail or something like that. My work firewall has it blocked so I can't check it out right now, but it's a possibility.

I'm not sure about the email piece, but igoogle has the rest of it.
