The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
TSOL replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I just wish our government would put as much energy into education as they do machines of war and propaganda Did you type that one all on your own? Carefully paying attention to every keystroke? If so THAN my work is done here -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

You edit a two sentences post and still have a misspelling? -
https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN29R122 As long as he keeps the poor and undereducated dependant on big government, it's a win for all of us. I mean, why put resources into getting kids back to school and educating these people, if all he has to do is give them baloney sandwiches

Fox News becomes even less recognizable as "News"
TSOL replied to WideNine's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Fox and CNN both are just pandering to the least common denominator -
Amazing contribution. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

Thank you for that reasonable take. I will be watching with optimistic skepticism

The mainstream news media is controlled by hollywood elites. The same hollywood elites that came out at the inauguration dressed like hunger games. I'll watch this thread as an alternative source of information, while trying to disciminate fact from fiction in the absolute landslide of information that is befalling us in this new world order.

Biden mouth is writing alot of checks. How is he, and the house and the Senate going to get out 100 million vaccines in 100 days, while they spend the next 2 weeks figuring out how to impeach Trump, and pass another giant stimulus bill? That seems like alot of work for a typically slow moving process. It will be interesting to watch these problems be solved in a pretty limited amount of time. He's got alot on his plate.

Let's watch the situation unfold, shall we? You commented on the post with the link in the Trump's legacy three. I'm in no way here defending Trump, I'm here trying to keep up with information from both sides and make up my own mind. I lean conservative though,

I don't wanna use "deep state" that term sounds stupid. I prefer the global political machine. The one that's grinding trump up into hamburger meat because he's been giving the world the double triple middle fingers for four years. Don't worry though, all is back to normal now. Wars in the middle east, dependence on foreign energy, selling off America's farmland and middle class jobs. Iphones for immigrants, all that warm and fuzzy stuff that the American public loves so much Oh and the bathrooms, gotta make sure that people's of all.... Preferences... have their appropriate bathrooms

Use some common sense there's no way trump called for 50,000 troops at the inauguration. You seem somewhat smart don't feign naivete to fit your narrative
-
I doubt this "deep state" was formed in the last four years. I used that term with hesitation, because it's a little tough to look down into that rabbit hole, but do you honestly believe there isn't things going on behind the curtain that would turn most of our hair white? Do you believe that these powerful men who control the United States government are these pure and true humble public servents? Do you think these powerful men are not subject to greed and corruption?

The suckiest!

The dude did make some awesome vacuums though, gotta give him that. Hoover, not trump.

The bad man is gone. He can't hurt you anymore. As a nation let's focus on healing instead of poking at old wounds. The in-fighting between us average American citizens is what's wearkening our country.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
TSOL replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
We are about to see what Biden can do with a global pandemic that has brought every country in the world to it's knees. He is talking the talk, anow I'm interested to see him and his adminstration walk the walk. -
Yes, leaders lead, but people need to take responsibility for themselves. People shouldn't rely on big government to keep them safe, It's each and every one of our duties to keep ourselves informed and safe. We can't count on the president to put a warm blanket over us and hold us in their lap why we suckle the teet of big government. In December 2019 and January 2020 when it started becoming evident there was something weird going on in the world I bought up a bunch of N95's and started wearing the mask. I didn't need Fauci or Trump or anyone to tell me to watch my ass out there, it became clear very quickly that the world was begining to be turned on end. I handed out masks to the cashier's at tops unfortunately they looked at me like I was nuts. I feel like it's the democrats mission statement, to keep people reliant on government, and that's why I lean right. I'll take care of my own damn self thank you very much. This is where we differ. Stop looking for leaders and be your own leader.
