  1. Well, after last night I believe it's time to give some props for the kid who looked very average at the beginning of the season but has really come along nicely. I believe this team has what it takes to win it all. Their speed is just so impressive and with Miller in net that a winning combo. Go Sabres
  2. Agreed, He's not a player I want to see let go. The guy gives 110% each and every week. He's a little undersized but he plays with heart and makes tackles when they need made.
  3. Count me in on this bandwagon. I'm convinced they are the 3rd best team in hockey and if you look at their depth they should be able to make a serious run at the cup. "Ooh Ahh Sabres on the warpath."
  4. Come on, I've got to have the funniest avatar if your from Buffalo.
  5. The Brick... if by some grace of the football gods he's still on the board.
  6. He was great. I'm old enough to remember him well.
  7. Thanks, and I agree if they can patch up some bad feelings it would be good news that Ted's coming back.
  8. I went to WIVB but can't find anything on it. I'm not saying it's not true but I can't find anything other than BB.com.
  9. Jerry never could overcome the obvious...getting burned by Andre Reed for 3 touchdowns in "The Comeback."
  10. No, we don't need to start either one. We haven't had a good DE since Bruce left.
  11. He looks real good to me and I don't see anyone pushing him around in practice or in the game. He looks real solid and the Bills would be nuts not to take him if he's available at the at the 8th spot.
  12. Exactly, like we have so many more pressing needs.
  13. I'm not saying that's not true but unless you have great leaders on both sides of the ball your going to need a Parcells, Cower, Vermeil etc. (motivators) If you notice Chuck Knox was the only coach that I can remember that was a proven winner that Ralph hired and he got the most out of his players. He didn't have the most talented group of players in the league but they were a solid team that made a run.
  14. I think it's safe to say that Ralph prefers to shell out money for players and not coaches. I'm not saying it's the wise thing to do but before the Kelly era he had a bad reputation for not paying players their market value and from what I heard three spirits woke him up in the middle of the night and the ghost of Superbowl fugure told him if he didn't start paying players he would never make it to the Superbowl. He then made Jim Kelly the highest payed player in 1986 and shelled out big money to Bennett, Thurm, and Bruce in years to come. If you ask me it was time he shelled out money for a coach also. Why risk it if you really want it? I guess some things will never change.
  15. "Money will not be an issue." OK Ralph whatever.
  16. Yeah, I'm not getting this also. What does Jauron have to do with Belicheck? Just because BB started in the same way does sure as hell not mean it will end the same.
  17. Why are you trying to compare Levy and Belicheck with Jauron? You have a crystal ball and you know that since Levy and Belicheck had losing records but ended up with solid records this is what will happen to Jauron. What do you base this on other than similar records? When Marv was given the job back in 1986 their was a HUGE difference. I remember Jerry Butler on the Buffalo news saying that "Levy just walked into a gold mine." The Bills were loaded with talent and hungry players. They had a leader on offense in Kelly and with Bruce on defense. Would you compare it with any current players? The thing you have to remember also is that on Marv's team their were real leaders in fact I'll go ahead and say Kelly was more of a leader than Marv. I love Marv but he had so much talent on those teams. Would he have been as successful with average players?
  18. While I'm not happy with this choice I agree some of the posters have lost it making statements such as those. Does anyone else who's been here a while notice a influx of new posters who have seemed to migrate from another board where fans don't emphasize grammer and just make stupid thoughtless statements?
  19. Would you stop with your focking BS and go back home to the Dolphin board.
  20. Those are excuses not facts. You want facts? Look at his overall record it speaks for itself! It's Chicago not Detroit that he was head coach and if you look at my post it was corrected.Another loser
  21. Well, what was his record in his 3 years in Chicago? Give me facts.
  22. Actually Jesus wasn't available. Right now is the head coach of the apostles and he has his hands full with world peace and that clever arch nemesis Lucifer. With Peter as his offensive coordinator the world is in big trouble. As rumor has it one of his staff members has been showing Lucifer and his team plays out of the playbook designed by Jesus.
  23. Would have taken Haslett if they didn't want Sherman but not happy about Dick!
