What really annoyed me is not sacking smith. he's one of the most sacked qbs in the league and I don't think the bills got 1
-
He sucks. Never understood the love for him by most fans. He did good his first year but besides that, he doesn't do much besides dropping key passes
-
Only if Rex wasnt watching the !@#$ing game
almost impossible to tell if it's a catch in live action. Even during replays, you can slow it down 20 times and still people can't figure it out. Not to say that replays didn't show it was a catch because it was but my main point is live action happens so fast and that's not on rex to determine it from that one look live

OR....WHAT IS A RED FLAG USED FOR?
Rex did the Cardinal sin of listening to his stupid player about a catch
Ya that was ridiculous to challenge the woods catch
-
Why isn't there anyone upstairs telling him when to challenge? Obvious incomplete on the long throw to Maclin. Obvious completed pass to Hogan. No challenge on either but you challenge a meaningless throw to Robert Woods when it clearly was a trap?
That's what I brought up. The guys upstairs should be letting him know as well
-
Everyone Is blaming rex for the non challenges and rightfully so but shouldn't the main blame to be in the guys upstairs for not telling him to throw the flag?
-
Officials are just bad in general. I don't think they favour anyone, they are just incompetent
-
On Monday the bills would have I think, but majority of time, new England because they have tom brady
-
I think it's half roman and half tyrod. I think taylor is scared too force the issue if he feels they are rolling coverage Sammys way but ya at the same time you can tell the game plan isn't focused around sammy

Some may call me crazy, but I believe last night showed progress towards being a winning team. For the past 15 years we have been a team that gave other teams opportunities to beat us, and the good teams capitalized on those opportunities and did beat us. I feel like last night we took a step forward. Instead of giving the Pats* clear opportunities to take over we generated opportunities for ourselves. Now we did not capitalize on them, we aren't there yet, but I feel like we created a lot of opportunities to take that game over, and I do not believe that is something we have done in the recent past. The next step is to capitalize on the opportunities we create like the teams you see doing consistently well like the Pats*, Packers, or Steelers.
I agree with what you said, but the one thing that concerned me is tyrod taylor's game. If he doesn't turn out to be a quality QB, the bills will find themselves between 7-9 wins every year

Bills are just always average which is even more frustrating. I would rather them suck for 5 years then be good for 1
-
He made some good plays too. He's supposed to be a versatile backup that can play corner or safety. He wasn't brought here to start. He's playing as well as he can for him. Because Aaron got hurt and Duke sucks he is forced into a position where he has to hold down that spot and he's doing an OK job imo
Exactly. He is filling in and doing a descent job for the most part. I never really had high expectations for him, we got bigger problems to worry about than corey graham

My comparison is it's like cheering for the opponent against the harlem globetrotters. I know the bills are going to lose against the patriots but I still get stressed and worked up every time for no reason cause I know the end result
-
True, but I still think the bills got a break when the officials went to replay because the bills weren't even close to snapping the ball. At the end of the day I still think the refs saved the bills 7-10 seconds
-
Thanks for the input, great work
-
I agree with everything you said except for the game plan. The defensive game plan was good but I thought the offensive GP was bad. Way too conservative and vanilla. I get that you need to keep to keep brady off the field by trying to control the clock but at the end of the day, too many runs on 1st and 2nd downs that resulted in 3 and outs. Just seemed like there was no creativity
-
Officials were a joke. Even on New England's TD when the bills were offside. It was obvious and yet it took them like 3 minutes to explain it. It's no wonder the game took over 3.5 hours
-
I lost it on the 3rd and short. The Patriots D is one you run right at. If you try to do slow developing plays they will stop it easily. I don't get what Roman was thinking. Our situational football is poor.
I called it too. Said they would run to the outside, lose 2 yards then punt. Absolutely inexcusable for that call, then to punt after as well
-
Agreed. The only one who did descent was Rex with his defensive game plan. But clock management/ play calling was horrendous today
-
seems like roman has 2 drive stoppers every game. what I mean by that, is if they are in 2nd and short or 3rd and short and he will call ridiculous plays which results in the bills punting and wasting good opportunities. Like taylor's keeper to the left on 3rd and 3 and the 3rd and inches call to K Williams. There were more as well
-
Some of Roman's play calling has been questionable
some? I would say 90 percent of it
-
as soon as woods dropped that pass I said right away it would haunt them
-
Very unlikely. Haven't seen the schedule for that week but I am assuming there will be a bigger market/ better matchup flexed instead of the bills texans
-
I always root for AFC teams to lose to NFC teams because you just never know how things will play out for the wild card spot. Having the tie breaker over the Phins doesn't help the Bills if the Phins go on a roll late in the season and end up with a better record than the Bills.
Exactly
Convince me that Robert Woods should stay

Really? I've counted at least 3 drops the last 2 games
