  1. I see that on the front page of tbd, there's an article about how the league got 31 of 32 votes for the 2010 superbowl to be played at the jets new stadium, with the bills being the only no vote. Glad to see that the wny team has some stones to stand up to big new york. Maybe it will rub off on some of their representatives in albany!
  2. a couple of weeks ago, we had a discussion about cooling beer. we pretty much figured that cooling beer in salt water/ice was the best method. Tonight, they tested beer cooled in a fridge, freezer, ice, ice with water, ice with water and salt. The results are beer in salt water cooled in 5 minutes, ice water 15, and the rest were much higher. Interestingly though, spraying a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher on a beer cools it the quickest, roughly 2 minutes... Anyways, i'll edit that link in once i'm done searching if someone doesn't beat me to it. now they're making beer cooling contraptions. pretty interesting. by the way, the redhead vegetarian chick (kari??) is really cute to me... in a girl next door kinda way. i'm not partial to the tattoo chick. edit: it was AD who brought it up http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=20494&st=0
  3. when the fines won't allow him to renew his chuck e. cheese membership.
  4. http://www.ew.com/ew/article/quiz/0,6115,1...76_1_0_,00.html there's a link to the same quiz with answers.
  5. i don't see this as a problem yet. The nfl and pa agree in principal on the major points, its just a matter of hammering out the details and percentage points. One article that i read said that the deal won't get done THIS WEEK. They still have 1.5 offseasons and 2 full regular seasons to figure this out before there's no cap. It will not get to that point. that "no cap" year is just a contingency put in to assure both parties that a deal will be done before the old deal expires.
  6. There's a space inbetween "running back" and "height". Could that space have said "buffalo bills" 6 months ago? edit: Travis watching Willis Edit 2: Forget that crap at the bottom, this is travis keeping Willis' spot warm
  7. the article that i read said that the browns cancelled it. Could this be some animosity towards the bills because of the kelly holcomb situation? IIRC, holcomb refused to sign with the browns for $x to be the penciled in starter, but he willingly signed >$x to be a backup for the bills.
  8. let him sit... the bills will be minus one roster spot, but they'll get some compensation if he disregards his signed contract. Plus he'll screw himself over in the long run. I say the bills keep him, he'll sit out, and then he'll be basically blackballed.
  9. "when this baby hits 88mph, you're going to see some serious sh--" "so doc, you're telling me you made a time machine???? Out of a delorean???" http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/03/20/obit.delorean/index.html
  10. I couldn't get into the site because it asked for a username... Fine, i blame the AP.
  11. the bills have sold out like twice as many games as the raiders in the past 5 years. How about the bills play a ROAD game in toronto against the HOME team raiders. I'm sure the LA times will have a lot more gibberish to print after that game.
  12. I bet she uses a wrist brace.
  13. You know, this whole thing, plus my recent visit to the doctors last week (i have a massive cholesterol problem... genetic) have gotten us on the fast track for setting up wills. You're covering all asses by spending an hour with a lawyer and signing a few papers.
  14. that link didn't work, but i did see on cnn this morning that the little girl who was killed had something like 15 sex offenders living in a couple square miles of her... crazy.
  15. oops... you're right
  16. RJ=Brian Boitano
  17. well i guess that explains why his facemask is bent awkwardly downward... looks like he didn't know his own strength in a fit of rage.
  18. if you read the bottom, it says that he's donating a minimum of 75% to charity, and if you don't like his cause, donate directly to the charity of your choice. This will save this guy next april 15th at least. I think it's a brilliant yet sick idea.
  19. check out the online store... there's some good merchandise there. I'm actually thinking about that wall clock.
  20. sorry i didn't elaborate earlier... i was at work. By the way, love the richard dean anderson mullet avatar. Anyways, this guy got the gist of what i was watching. the Dr. and the representative were in a nice heated argument.
  21. cspan... its free baby.. that doctor almost dropped the gloves with the congress members. crazy stuff.
  22. I'm ordered by my grandfather (wwii pacific tour, navy) to go to the memorial... They've got a computer database of every soldier. I'm very interested in that.
  23. i think i meant miles, not minutes... oh well. Anyways, that's what my sister told me. I really could care less though, anything within a 3 hour drive for one of those subs is worth it.
  24. jim did a spot with db for sabres games too... I have to agree with canbuffan on most of what was said. That injury was completely freak. No way does that happen again, even if vincent hit him the same way the next 100 times. With that said, i'll take a guy who tries to get a first down in PRACICE over someone who jokes around and twirls footballs on his fingers. The heart is there, the strength is there, the talent is there, but as of last year, the knowledge and preperation weren't there. Big cat is getting that piece together as we speak. Now, the big question is, can he play?? Till opening day, we're just going to kid ourselves and post nonsense about garbage time interceptions or how stupid he was for getting his leg broken. As for mark's sarcasm, i hope you all can see that the dude broke his leg. its not like he fell on a football and "cracked cartilidge" or had turf toe.
  25. hey, on another family trip, we were extras in die hard 3... taxicab through central park scene.
