  1. Yes, downloading is illegal. Listening to a stream (grooveshark for example) however, is not (IMO of course).
  2. But then again, you have to watch baseball.
  3. To be clear, I think the V-share addon MIGHT be necessary, but I doubt the toolbar does anything useful. It's certainly possible neither is necessary. I already disabled the toolbar and will try disabling the addon before the game to check how things work on Firefox.
  4. Watching the online feed is legal, IMO. Supplying the feed is not.
  5. I'm GUESSING dog used Firefox and In A Gadda used IE when watching the game. I used Firefox and V-Share does not show as an installed program, but rather as an add-on in Firefox. You can go and disable it under Tools, Addons. Or, you can do what I did and simply go to View, Toolbars and disable it there. I think you may need the addon (or program in IE) to view the stream, but I doubt the toolbar is important for anything and I recommend you disable it.
  6. It's actually illegal for the radio station to stream the games, too (I believe). They usually do it in preseason but stop during the season.
  7. I'm doing some research on V-share now. I despise add-ons (particularly toolbars) like this as a rule. But for what it's worth, it seems relatively harmless (from what I know at the moment) and is considered to be one of the better (if not the best) youtube clone applications. Even if it isn't dangerous, I share Fearless Leader's concern that it is a worthless addon that is foisted upon us simply for the revenue it brings to the site/person delivering the toolbar. I need to know this, if anyone has the answer: Did anyone disable the toolbar and then watch the game? If so, it seems like it is useless to this particular streaming process and is being distributed strictly for revenue and to build a base of installed users for future use.
  8. You logic in this is a big flawed here, I think. The reason the Bills QB situation is as bad as it is, is due to them not having a quality bona fide starter. It is certainly possible other teams with a starter may like one of their QBs as a backup.
  9. Why thank you Sphere of Beer.
  10. Anyone have a link, so we can read where this is coming from?
  11. Well, "Black Jackal" is one of my many aliases.
  12. Then it's "Lightning", right? Why reinvent the wheel? I know it might be not work for those who insist nicknames be very obvious and rhyme with the player's name.
  13. Makes sense. But if Brown is on the PS isn't he essentially a Free Agent? I believe GB made Brohm a counter-offer after the Bills make an offer and Brian chose to come to Buffalo. Still I think the Bills take that risk.
  14. If the guy was destined for a good nickname wouldn't he already have one from college? He may already have one, but I haven't heard it yet. The idea of creating nicknames for players is nearly as stupid as making up your own. How about T-Bone?
  15. Yes, I think this is the most likely scenario. A month or so ago, I thought Brown would be #3 and either Fitz or Brohm would get cut (or even Trent if he didn't progress). But the fact is all the QBs have been OK in preseason. There isn't a whole hell of a lot separating them at the moment. I really think the only thing hurting Brohm is lack of experience. Brown didn't show that he is a superstar in waiting, so I think the Bills risk the PS for him, this year.
  16. Excellent questions. Here are some brief answers: http://www.healthieryou.com/sleepap.html Excerpts: It should also be mentioned that dental appliances and surgery are expensive and rarely covered by health insurance. Typically you have to have tried a CPAP/APAP/BiPAP before they will even consider surgery.
  17. Face farts? The two things that really made a difference for me were, CPAP (pressure relief on exhale) and a mask with nasal pillows. As you have a BiPap, you are covered with the pressure relief, I think. But if you find you lose the seal on the mask from sleeping on your side, you may want to give the nasal pillows a shot. I sleep on my side and would always knock the mask from fitting tightly. Too tight sucks, too. For me, nasal pillows was the answer.
  18. Comodo still has a great reputation as a firewall. Do NOT use their security suite. If you use the firewall, make sure you DO NOT also install the ASK or Hopsurf toolbar. Another negative with Comodo is it can be a bit noisy/busy/intrusive. Sunbelt Firewall has a good rep w/o many of Comodo issues. But the free version is limited. Online Armor, which has recently been sold to Emisoft, makes a very good firewall. Dunno if it still has a free option but the paid version was much better, IMO. To be honest, if you are using a good security products and practices, and a hardware firewall, the Windows Firewall may be enough protection for you w/o the problems of many software firewalls. Windows 7 and even Vista have decent firewalls built in. XP's native firewall has some issues, but I now use it, with added security in case it fails. I became tired of trying to tame Comodo. The best advice, I suppose, is to buy Online Armor or use Comodo if you are fairly computer savvy and can deal with some configuring issues.
  19. Considering Trent's history, it's quite likely the backup QB will see plenty of action and a few starts too.
  20. Congrats and best of luck. Hopefully, you won't see this message for some time.
  21. I'm a bit confused by the point of the thread. Brohn barely saw the field. There really is nothing to say about his play from this game. He wasn't bad, nor good, because he didn't get a chance. But you can rest assured if BB gets cut by the Bills, he ends up on an NFL roster this year. The good news for the Bills is Trent and Fitz looked better than they have in a while. So Trent has looked good twice (but still has some issues, IMO) and terrible once. Fitz looked good and OK in his two appearances and Brohm looked good in his one shot. I'd like to see him on the field again in the last preseason game.
  22. Why didn't they (or you for that matter) point out the good play he made then?
  23. ?????????? He made the hit and QB was penalized for grounding. Yes, that was a TERRIBLE play by Maybin,
