  1. Stories of high drug costs David Mitchell, 67, spent several hours one day last week getting an infusion of two drugs that help stave off multiple myeloma, an incurable – but treatable – blood cancer he has battled for almost seven years. The cost: $20,000. "I'll need 22 more of these treatments over the next year," said Mitchell, of Potomac, Md. "I'm a very expensive baby; $450,000 worth of drugs a year are keeping me alive." Medicare, including the Part B supplemental insurance he pays extra for, will cover the cost. But an oral drug called Revlimid – a medication he once took – costs Medicare patients with Part D coverage about $11,500 a year out of pocket. http://buffalonews.com/2017/07/21/tired-cost-prescription-drugs-share-story/
  2. Good to read what Tolbert said about Beane. He was on the Murph show did a funny imitation of McD clapping and his cheer.
  3. Sammy will be playing all out for his next contract. As long as he stays healthy and gets at least 10 targets a game he will be fine.
  4. Boldin will be 37 in Oct. I would rather find out if we have a good younger wr already on the roster. If they were sure of making a serious playoff run ,using more cap space this season would make sense.
  5. I would vote no ,develop the WRs we now have.
  6. Trump scares me , so this doesn't help
  7. Scaramucci is very , very impressive at the press conference. Trump made a good move this time.

  9. Scaramucci is a very smooth talker just like Andrew Cuomo imo

  12. She can change her appearance to Sarah Huckabee who she looks like already. I'll miss Spicer though , seems like a good guy but mission impossible job.
  13. The latest effort by Republicans in the Senate to overhaul the US healthcare system could have an unexpected effect on deductibles: they could get so high they're actually more than the poorest Americans earn. Deductibles are what you pay before your insurance kicks in. The CBO estimates that by 2026 the second-lowest-priced plans (the silver plans, in the Obamacare marketplace) would have $13,000 deductibles. Under the Affordable Care Act currently, a deductible for the same plan would be $5,000 in 2026. http://www.businessinsider.com/cbo-deductibles-under-new-senate-health-care-bill-to-rise-sharply-2017-7
  14. Pentagon spending $130K a month for Trump Tower space The rental amount only covers the cost for the Department of Defense. Other agencies, such as the US Secret Service, have also faced increased costs due to the president and his large family’s frequent visits to his other properties. The Secret Service alone requested an additional $25.7 million for its 2018 budget to cover expenses toward securing Trump Tower and the president’s “protective footprint” in New York City, according to the Journal. The GSA signed an 18-month “firm lease” with the owner of the property, according to the document obtained by the Journal. The contract also states that the government can cancel the lease at any time after the “firm term” expires, so long as it gives notice of at least 180 days. A Pentagon official told the Journal in a letter that the space has a private owner not affiliated with the Trump organization http://nypost.com/2017/07/19/pentagon-spending-130k-a-month-for-trump-tower-space/ Trump does not even visit NY anymore

  17. Heard a interview with Joe D. who said O.J. might have CTE if he killed 2 people.
  18. Repeal and delay is back, and even worse than Trumpcare Repealing Obamacare without implementing a replacement would have even more devastating consequences than Trumpcare. It would result in 18 million people losing their coverage the first full year after the bill’s enactment. That number would rise to 32 million by 2026, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, which scored the repeal and delay plan when it was proposed in 2015. https://thinkprogress.org/repeal-and-delay-is-back-and-even-worse-than-trumpcare-765b6d2ab88d At the same time, it would double health care insurance premiums by 2026, budget analysts concluded. http://azdailysun.com/news/local/cbo-repeal-only-to-cost-million-their-health-insurance/article_38c58e4e-eac1-5c89-ac67-1951d30f5770.html
  19. Turkey's leak of U.S. military data puts troops' lives at risk, Pentagon says The Pentagon on Wednesday slammed the Turkish government for releasing a state-run news service report pinpointing the locations of 10 U.S. military posts in Syria, Bloomberg reported. Bloomberg reported that Anadolu also detailed aid routes, as well as equipment stocked at various military points, which it claimed “includes artillery batteries with high maneuverability,” as well as multi-barrel rocket launchers. The information includes detailed information on the number of American soldiers deployed, as well as a map identifying U.S. armed forces’ presence in the region, the report said. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/07/20/turkeys-leak-u-s-military-data-puts-troops-lives-at-risk-pentagon-says.html With NATO friends like this who needs enemies Looks like Putin is pushing the U.S. out of Syria except for air power for now it seems.

  22. Trump Tells The Times He Wouldn’t Have Appointed Sessions if He Had Known Sessions Would Recuse Himself on Russia WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Wednesday that he never would have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Mr. Sessions would recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation that has dogged his presidency, calling the decision “very unfair to the president.” https://www.nytimes....ons-russia.html oops, Sessions is still loyal now, maybe not

  24. Tell that to the politicians who made these plans. I had no say what so ever. The future of healthcare is what you tell your representatives what to do. I don't think they will even listen.
  25. The current Social Security tax rate is 6.2% for both employers and employees, and the 2017 maximum earnings amount subject to Social Security tax is $127,200. That tax should be what you earn over that max. Medicare tax should also be much higher for your lifetime work. This is what politicians decided not reasonable of course.
