Lose out, I want to see them clean house and get a franchise pick at LB or QB.

NFL is extremely difficult to make playoffs compared to hockey. 32 teams and only 12 make it each year. That is 20 teams or 63% of teams do not make the playoffs each year. In the NHL there are 30 teams and 16 make it so only 47% miss. A playoff drought in the NFL is much easier to achieve then the NHL.

Our LB core is by far the worst in the NFL.
-
He is 1 sack away for being tied for 6th in the league in sacks.
-
I love Dareus - but Watt is reminding me of Reggie White. I haven't seen a d-end play with such power and intensity since White left the game.
JPP Last year, He had the play of the year that made the Giants go to the superbowl on the blocked field goal against Dallas. Without him there is no superbowl for the Giants.

This is EPIC. All I gotta say.

I find it hilarious how people thought this dude was making everything up...What benefit would he get from doing that...

I don't know whether you're trying to imply that LBs are comparable in value to QBs. But if you are, you're wrong. An Aaron Rodgers changes the game in a way that a Greg Lloyd or a Chris Spielman does not.
You could say, well what about Lawrence Taylor? Two things about that: 1) Not even Lawrence Taylor created nearly the same impact as Aaron Rodgers. 2) Lawrence Taylor played the pass rushing LB in a 3-4 scheme; which is a lot like playing RDE in a 4-3. Someone playing the position Taylor played will be asked to rush the passer a lot more often than will any LB in a 4-3 scheme.
As for the Kuechley versus Gilmore comparison: LB is a position at which a player can often come in and make a big impact his rookie year. At CB, it often takes a bit longer to adjust. Gilmore clearly has the athletic tools he needs to succeed. He's just making rookie mistakes. If, a few years from now, he's still not grasping the mental side of the game--much like McKelvin--then there's a problem.
You did not read the entire conversation. I agree with everything your saying, but the guy I was talking with stated Kuechly is not really making a difference on his team, I was just pointing out that is not true.

We lost to them twice last year, so ya...
-
You have to get to Luck or he will pick you apart. The guy is a hall of famer in the making. I've watched quite a few of his games this year and he will make your D look horrible if you do not get pressure on him.
-
Bruce Irvin might have something to say about ROY he has 7 sack this season
Kuechly is 3rd in the league in tackles. Only behind Mayo and Greenway. Irvin is tied for 10th in sacks. Irvin has 10 tackles on the year so far

C.J. Mosley
Alec Ogletree
Chase Thomas
Gerald Hodges
Sean Porter
Michael Mauti
Nico Johnson
Here are 7 LB other than Jarvis Jones or Manti Te'o That are high quality LB remember last draft everyone wanted Luke Kuechly he was gonna be a superstar well how is that working out so far he is not dominating there is always value at LB in later rounds
He is not dominating? Are you serious? He is going to win defensive rookie of the year quite easily. I would take him over Gilmore in a second. Look at Von Miller the year before him who got taken first as a LB. He won rookie of the year last year and already is LEADING the league in sacks at 10. LBs are game changers just as much as a QB can be some times. LB+QB in the first 2 rounds, always going at BPA in those 2 spots though.
-
LB + QB for first 2 rounds seem like a lock to me next year.
-
They looked amazing today, I have no criticism besides having CJ run the ball more. He is the most explosive running back I have seen in awhile.
-
Pure gold. This thread is pure gold I say.

We need a LB nearly as much as a new QB. I REALLY wish we could of gotten Kuechly. That kid is going to win ROTY.... =(

Im glad i left no snow and that person that said theres more to do in a 2 hour drive in buffalo to a 2 hour drive in atlanta is wrong. Theres so much to do in atlanta it isn't funny. You people cant say that you like buffalo i lived there for 21 years and then moved to atlanta and i wouldn't move back everything is old and to tell you the truth i don't even go back for the food and a bills game i can watch them on tv. GO ATLANTA!!!!
I would not be able to live somewhere with no snow tbh. I live on the hills of the soutern tier all winter. Boarding, skiing, and playing outdoor ice hockey all winter. The 4 seasons are amazing to me, the worst part for me is the lack of good paying jobs. However the cheap cost of living makes up for that imo.

I am sick of us being the laughing stock of the league. I want us to finish 8-8 and not really care if we make playoffs or not. We can still draft Qb in first round and LB in second. Pick up a FA WR 2 and we will have a solid team next year "if" the first round qb can pan out. As we have seen Luck, RG3, Wilson, Tannehill, even Weeden are having really good rookie years.

"There are several problems with the proposed Outer Harbor site, such as a lack of space needed for parking, distance from the downtown core, and insufficient road infrastructure."
This is hilarious...Such a horrible excuse if I ever heard one. Pittsburghs stadium'S are located right in the heart of the city. Could not get more centrally located then where they are, and they are flourishing like crazy. A new hockey arena and football stadium just completed. My uncle lived there for 10+ years and loved it. They actually get stuff done there, the politicians in this area will never get Anything at all done ever....Unfortunately this will result in thousands of people to continue to flock to more suitable grounds. =/

Is this were to happen... .000000000001%......It would be the single most impactful thing in the possible resurgence of the city of Buffalo. Pegula is building that amazing building in that vacant parking lot across from the arena in addition to the massive remodeling of First Niagara Center. Also the waterfront made quite a bit of progress this summer. There are condos being built all along the waterfront as well. Maybe just maybe we can prevent 10,000 people from leaving this city every year... =(

Some of the MLB playoff droughts make ours look like nothing...

Rivers throwing motion looks like Fitz's. I'd like to have Romo or Vick over him easily. My favorite would be Romo.

Guess who's back in Buffalo? Shawne Merriman just agreed to a deal with the Bills. He was brought in for a look today.

12 games in - Gailey discovers running game???

Pretty sure the weather had a lot to do with the amount of running plays. The Jags could not pass as well as they have the last few games due to 40 mph winds and pouring rain. The weather conditions favored our play style.
