  1. It's doubtful Ralph Wilson Is giving the Front Office any direction. When was the last quote that came out of Grosse Pointe. The silence is deafening.
  2. If the TBN thought his "enterprise" reportings were any good they wouldn't be moving him to the rather banal role of Bills beat reporter. I'm sure he's not thrilled with the move as he certainly won't be up for any Pulitzers following the Bills daily doings. He and Sullivan think of themselves as a cut above mere sports reporters. The TBN should come clean on what's going on w Mckissic
  3. It looks like a demotion, TBNs Margaret Sullivan probably wasn't too impressed with his general interest stories which weren't very interesting or good
  4. Be prepared for Albany to play hardball on the improvement $'s they know Wilson can't threaten to move the team while he owns it. Brandon and Littman are going to have have a hard time in these negotiations
  5. The signings were ALL about trying to gain some leverage w the state and county in the stadium improvement and lease negotiations. Wilson does not have the threat to move the team like he did in 98 he has to regain some fan support if he is to have any leverage .
  6. Last guy just proved my point. The only good thing about the Toronto series was that it took a preseason game to Toronto that season tickets didn't have to pay for. Rogers steamrolled Brandon and forced him to take it back. I don't have to call for a revolt it'll happen on it's own and should as this organizational incompetency won't be rewarded
  7. What's boring is the extra preseason game, we'll see how that effects season ticket sales. Probably sell less than 35,000 this year, loss of 20k since '08 but this franchise isn't in trouble. Way to regionalize Russ.
  8. So you would rather have an extra preseason game and one less regular season home game ? And they wonder why the Bills are a laughingstock franchise
  9. I seem to recall they use to have 8 home games then ...
  10. Just stating the facts dude
  11. Last season in Orchard Park, not optimistic with No stadium lease beyond 2012 and a 94 year old owner. Buy your tickets, the stubs could be collectors items.
  12. It really wouldn't surprise me that Rogers doesn't pay the Bills for this preseason game. The way that Brandon stammered on about the "scheduling conflict" they probably stong-armed him into taking it back without paying him the $10 mill. It's the first first of quite a few beatings Brandon will be taking this off-season.
  13. No disputing they're a good deal for the first two months of the regular season. Get 'em now, it could be the last season there.
  14. And as an added bonus you get to pay for an extra Pre-season game. Thanks Russ Brandon !
  15. When is this improvement report going to be released ?? It appears that it is the lynch pin for these negotiations to begin. The media should be pestering Brandon about this.
  16. If the New York State budget for 2012-13 is to be approved by March 31 will it have a provision for the $100 million in stadium improvements. What is going to have to happen for this funding to be approved, anyone know ?
  17. Don't be surprised if Wilson changes course and decides to sell while he's still alive. He'll point to the uncertainty of the the stadium situation and leave it up to the new owners, local or otherwise, to decide what's going to happen. The fact that this stadium report has not been released yt is crazy, I don't think everyone realizes how late in the game we are.
  18. Call their bluff, this team will end up in LA befor your six pack gets warm
  19. Well if Wilson is so keen on initiating these talks where is this stadium improvements report It is extremely overdue
  20. If Wilson puts the team for sale now without a lease tying it to Buffalo it obviously will be in a bidding situation, which probably will not be the case with your life expectancy stat of 3 years. The family would be better off putting for sale now as well to avoid the upcoming battles with the County, State and Rogers over the lease, stadium improvements And TO series extension. Does a 93 yo with 3.15 years to live really want those headaches , don't be surprised if they're put up for sale soon
  21. A by product of the Possibility of the Bills leaving town would be the down sizing of WGR and the buffalo news. Who do you think makes the cut and who gets cut out of Schopp Bulldog White Simon Sullivan Graham and Gaughn ??
  22. The Bills will also be in a fight w Rogers communication over extending that debacle . Rogers will not be paying 10 m per game again and they landed the first punch sending the worthless preseason game back to Bflo Everything points to the 93 yo owner putting it up for sale soon
  23. Don't be surprised if Wilson decides that he doesn't fight w the state or county over improvements and lease terms. He'll probably put the team up for sale and let potential new owners deal w what's going to be an uphill battle. The team is obviously much more valuable without a lease tying them here
  24. The problem is it's not just Cuomo making the decision It's the legislature as well as state wide opinion there is going to be tremendous resistance to $100 million + that is why the release of this report is absolutely critical
  25. If Tim Graham is talking to Brandon it shouldn't be about bounties from 10 years ago it should be about these stadium improvements and what the status of lease talks are ! It's scary to think of Wilson dying and there is no lease tying this team to Buffalo.
