Average Income Lower Than Previous Year
Dante replied to Dorkington's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actual capitalism will accomplish this. Not the tyrannical crony kind we have now. -
Dude has a pretty good kick http://dailycaller.com/2015/05/20/new-workout-video-shows-flotus-kicking-butt-in-the-gym/

Had a target rich scenario on a silver platter. IF anyone was really serious about destroying ISIS wouldn't one of our satellites pick this up and a great many of these guys could be taken out nicely? They concentrate on spying on us with the NSA and all but when a bunch of murderers gather in one spot out in the open with no cover we don't seem to know about it. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2015/05/isis-holds-massive-military-parade-in-west-anbar-celebrating-victory-in-ramadi-wheres-the-coalition/

I agree it's one big commercial and that's why it's a failed genre. In my opinion anyway. For me I've never found celebrities particularly interesting or entertaining to listen to. It sounds counter intuitive but it's true. They don't seem to be, for the most part, spontaneous or witty. Honestly most are down right boring. So when Letterman or whomever else interviews them we are left with them plugging something with a clip and blah blah. A waste of time, For me that is. When Letterman first started he had all kinds of quirky guests that were not necessarily in the entertainment field. Some were odd and unique like Harvey Pekar. Made it unpredictable and different. The guy I used to get a kick out of was Brother Theodore. Anyway, he lost that after the CBS move and Dave started his transformation to a bitter man. This guy has a good breakdown http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2015/05/20/after-losing-to-jay-leno-david-lettermans-bitterness-cost-him-his-indiana-soul/ Brother Theodore

These people seem very inspired by her leadership. http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/iowa-dems-can-t-name-accomplishment-secretary-state-hillary-clinton_951334.html

I'm sorry. My age is showing. I meant the move to CBS. I guess I was kind of mixing my talk show history thinking of Leno/Tonight Show in LA. My bad.
-
I used to be a huge Letterman fan.Especially when he was in LA. His take on the talk show was a refresh the genre needed.I really enjoyed it an recorded it every night. When he move the show to NY there it seemed to go off the rails. He no longer got the quirky, non entertainment industry guests and began to resemble the standard talk show blueprint. Hollywood types pushing their movies and so on. It became the same ole same ole to me. The finisher was when he began to expose himself as a shill for the Dems and the left in general. After that I never paid attention again.

Sabres on NBC-NBCSN 5 Times Next Season

Toronto has been the death of many good coaches the last 20 years or so. I wouldn't want to pay that much but the Leafs are the wealthiest team in the league. I guess we will see. -
Those damn conservatives are up to no good again

I have to agree. Wings scouting system has been second to none as well. Dallas scooped that guy (Nil) away last year. -
Painting up my sign now and on my way for this one. If I'm gonna loot it's going to be done right! http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-78-class-78-diag--led-curved-2160p-smart-3d-4k-ultra-hd-tv-black/5791004.p?id=1219159703220&skuId=5791004

You know my 55" Samsung is starting to show it's age a little.

I wouldn't be. What can you do? It could have happened anywhere. There was obviously some big beef brewing for a while. Anyway, like LABillz said, it's just another Thursday in Chicago.
-
You kinda have to see it. I was taken by the level of imagination that went into all of it. LIke the methods of boarding moving vehicles by using the equivalent of a pole vault. The movie is full of that kind of thing from machinery to weapons to cars.

Republicans Are Dying Off
Dante replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Reveling in the death of others. Just more proof that the left are isis level cruel. Not that any more were needed as history is littered with leftist goons murdering millions. After all us conservative and libertarians are dead and gone and there is no US left as we know it. Maybe some North American Union where the very advanced central americans help themselves to your taxes, I don't think it's going to be the glorious socialist utiopia you envision. On one hand just to spite I really hope you get what you want. On the other hand I'm sad people I care about will also be dragged into that hell. -
Or more likely the left wing msm spins it into gun some control rambling. Well, there will be the media spinning any way to advance whatever agenda they want to that day Then there is the truth.
-
I doubt that. The media is the last ones to get anything right.

This may be the very definition of "Non stop thrill ride". Lifts off from the very start and very rarely pauses. My favorite movies are the ones that build a layered world that immerses you in it. Atmospheric gems like Alien do this nicely. This does the same. Lot's of unique and quirky characters that adhere to their own kind of Viking like honor system. Whomever designed the vehicles has a great imagination and these alone are worth the price of admission. Nicely directed by Miller who also did the original and this pays homage to it with the same kind of camera effects and angles. If you liked the original Mad Max this is kind of the same but on steroids with a bigger budget and even more action. They also resisted to tack on a romance element which is refreshing. Great movie and I'm not even a action movie person. Must see. I give it a 9/10 considering the type of movie it is meant to be.

Canada made Russia look pretty bad yesterday. Here's a nice goal by Sabre Ennis. I think he likes the big ice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Byyvf22P2rU -
First time I've seen that kind of defense. I guess he subscribes to "The best defense is a good offense" theory. Pretty funny
-
I like how he warned people about the very ominous rain clouds coming in over Palos Verdes at the end. Over the top fear of rain here.

Now we waste money on the appeals.
