  1. Just a little planning goes a long way. When I reinstall, I just put all the drivers, saved games, profiles, docs etc on 2nd hard drive. Same thing. I also reinstall drivers in this order: 1) Mobo drivers/chipset 2) Direct X 3) Vid card drivers 4) Audio drivers(if a add on card). 5) Mouse drivers. After that all other things in no particular order.
  2. Read a review here. I really like the Android software. I have a G1 with TMobile and am really happy with it. Looks like Droid is for Verizon though so I'm out. I have over a year left on my contract anyway with the G1.
  3. Happy to hear Myers officially staying. Hope he doesn't get too much too fast like what appears to have happened to Luke Schen on the Leafs. Probably won't happen though. Sabres have better coaching. Wilson's a tool.
  4. Where did this guy come from? Well, I think Jessica Simpson is on the market still. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20...ss-topheadlines
  5. Doesn't add a hell of a lot but this from NHL.com today. In no way does this reflect my thoughts on Myers! Just thought Id put it here because it is a thread on the guy. Decision time on Myers -- Following Wednesday night's game in New Jersey, the Sabres will have to make a decision on whether to send rookie defenseman Tyler Myers back to his junior club, the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL, or to let his pro contract kick in after the allotted nine-game tryout period for players with junior hockey eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-8, 222-pound blueliner has 5 points in 8 games and is a plus-8. The team has applauded his hard work and start to his promising career, and the 19 year-old Myers seems to be comfortable at the pro level. "Now I just feel like I'm a part of the team," Myers told the Buffalo News. "I'm just trying to help the team win every game. I'm not even thinking about it, and I'm not looking at it like a tryout. More so, I just want to help the team win." Sabres GM Darcy Regier has been impressed by the young, towering defenseman and now must decide whether his growth will benefit from being in the NHL or back at the junior level. "He's certainly shown that he'll play in the National Hockey League and be a good player in the National Hockey League," Regier said. "The real questions that revolve around young players, by the very nature of their youth, you have to accept a level of inconsistency in their play. Part of the process here is we have to evaluate what that range is, and whether or not we can support the range and have him grow and have the team grow, have the team win. "You also evaluate whether you think the player can continue to grow at the junior level or if that is less than an ideal situation." Goalie Ryan Miller doesn't seem to mind having Myers playing in front of him and likes the youngster's attitude and demeanor. "He's got the skill and he's got the range to keep up with some of the top players in the League," Miller said of the 12th pick of the 2008 Entry Draft. "At this age it's great to see. We just hope we help him along enough that he reaches that potential. I think he's been a model teammate so far, which is important for this locker room, and he goes out and competes every night. On top of that, he's chipping in, which is great." Fellow blueliner Toni Lydman is questionable for Wednesday night's game at New Jersey due to a groin injury.
  6. Any differences for gaming?
  7. This reminds me of "The Losing Edge' South Park episode
  8. Whats next? A Maybin sighting? Wonders never cease
  9. Or douchebagery apparently. I'll just let this go I guess.
  10. Why is this such a strange concept to you guys? Young players get sent down all the time. Not necessarily because they can't compete, just for a little seasoning or just to learn some appreciation of where they are. Luke Schenn for the Leafs maybe should have got a little of this. Played great his rookie year but now looks content. Not as hungry as he should be. Brett Hull, Mark Recchi, even Hasek went down in their rookie year.
  11. Like this site. Not a bad time killer if you are stuck somewhere. Like work or something http://www.wgt.com/home.aspx
  12. Answer to all "are" problems is more like this .
  13. heh..well... even show tunes have a following. I mean, your in SF you should know better than anyone.
  14. Arguing about music is pointless. Whatever floats your boat! If you enjoy it, thats all that matters.
  15. I will give you the benefit of the doubt on Pearl Jam. Myself, Ive never heard a decent one. Guys voice makes me ill. I will say that "Orange Crush" by REM was good. After that? Boring.
  16. Pearl Jam and REM's monotonous droning have always been a waste of valuable radio air time. Opportunity lost for some other more deserving bands. At least someone found a practical use for their crappy music.
  17. Do you want a list of all stars that have been sent down too the minors numb nuts?
  18. Have it dvr'd and will watch tonight probably. Will be hard to top last weeks.
  19. In no way was I suggesting he should go. Just wondering if Ruff or other Sabre management had said anything in the press. It's exciting to see him adapting to the NHL game so quickly. I can't say I'm too surprised though. He was outstanding in the world jrs. I liked him better than Hedman. Although I am a little biased though.
  20. Agreed. He's also a +6 !
  21. Not sure of the rookie rules but I thought I heard/read somewhere that teams have to make a decision on them by nine games. They decide to keep them on the big team or send them down. If this is true I'm just curious what the Sabres plan to do with Myers. They certainly aren't playing him like you would a green rookie. Had 20 minutes last night. PP and PK duty. Picked him up for Yahoo team and hoping he stays up. Every game Ive seen him this season he looks good. Last Fridays Atlanta game he made a couple costly mistakes but thats going to happen.
  22. I think a lot of whats happening on the field is probably not Dicks fault. I think he has been put in a crap situation to some extent being that the front office appears pretty inept. I'm thinking that jauron in one of those good assistant coach kinda guys. Not the right personality to be the hc. My biggest problem with him is his game day persona and management. When he pulled that late game 45yd plus field goal crap again last weekend I couldn't believe it. If you want to talk about unfair how about how he always puts Lindell in ****ty percentage situations? Crappy weather, long field goal attempt was not necessary because they had a time out and downs to give Ryan a decent shot. But he does not learn. Wasn't it against Clevelend last year that he did the same thing? I agree that putting a billboard is pretty mean. End of the day teh guy goes home to a family. Has to be pretty humiliating. Amusing but sad.
  23. I like it!!! I hope he is done in Tennessee. I'd love to see him coach the Bills. Someone has to be pretty frustrated to do something like that. At least he has a pulse.
  24. When I read this I thought of this thread. The first one,"#10" is probably the weakest. They get stronger as they go so read them all. The tenth one, '#1" is the best and reminds of the college roommate thing.
  25. Your right, I misunderstood the first post. i assumed that the original poster was suggesting that the Bills could obtain Smith. I probably could have figured it out if I had read your replies but I got bored by the second one and rushed to reply. btw the way I don't care how many posts you have. Just kidding
