If Not Violence, What’s Your Plan?
ExiledInIllinois replied to The_Dude's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's going to make things worse. Be careful what You wish for. The road to perdition is paved with good intentions. We got a clown show on both sides now, we will get an even more cyclical clown show with more corruption. But... People have been warned. The true answer is through a more (yes I said more) conservative court... That's the push now, so go with it. Can't have a Chief Justice waffling. Say abortion. A few years ago dissent, then just recently to the opposite way. Laws are schizo. Piss or get off the pot. Stop being afraid the SCOTUS' Ivory Tower will look tarnished. Court decisions is where we start de-polarizing society. The Court will have to move one way or another. And we are close with RBG hanging by a feminist thread. -

They are... But out there. Both wife and I are Gen X Liberals. Two children Gen Z... Their brand of mixed conservative liberalism is different. Sometimes we think we are raising a cross between Lenin, the Pope, and Ayan Rand. Watch your pocketbooks old-timers... They got grand plans and lacked the social structure through their life to not know when to stop! I'd say it's like European Conservatism. Gilets jaunes meets Brexit type conservative. Which is really liberal on this side of pond. Socialism. -

How about states fund their natural disasters? Like Florida start charging an income tax? Why should Fed pick that up? Now, if they are saying industrial/big ag for the benefit of national economy, sure... Fix that. But, tourism and recreation... That's gratuitous and without charging income tax creating a grossly unsustainable model where too many come into the state lured by other benefits too... Like weather... -
Yeah... He really is an ass, man!

Brady Harassment© Stop it now all you wicked bullies!

The way I read it, I take Assman didn't lose his plates, totally different story. It appears he is now applying for the plates.

Yeah... He's been dancing around, slicing and dicing. This is more like it. Trump is the Fop. The Democrats the Highlander: "(Quarter) neither asked nor given" If the shoe fits wear it. Good times are upon us... Good times watching the Deplorable Snowflakes weasel and claw their immoral azzes out of this fine mess they dug themselves into.

Snowflake Republicans begging for mercy: https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5c5c8263e4b0a502ca33612c/amp Wow... Very unbecoming. What's he got to hide? The c uck old Republicans have sunk to a new dishonorable low. Maybe if Trump didn't cause a Blue Wave and have 40+ Congressional seats flip, they could remain spineless. Very Chamberlain-esque....are they really this spineless. Claim victimhood, waaa Presidential harassment, Presidential harassment! Unacceptable! Unacceptable!

No mattress pad? I guess a little too late now. They have the plastic ones for the really freaky times... But the fabric ones are nice. Get one after cleaning and then flip over (like some one suggested. Should rotate mattress periodically. You might wanna do a gender change there. Though, not that there is anything wrong with that. LoL... Chem-Dry® makes a nice product.

It's called an "ice bridge." Froze over does mean it is, well, frozen over. It can still move under, flow under the ice. Rivers freeze over and so does The Falls. Ice did stop the roar in March 1848: http://www.niagarafrontier.com/fallsstopped.html And in the olden times, when idiots were free to do what they please... They actually played on the ice when The Falls "froze over." What a great day of sledding (sliding if you are from hippy, screwy Vermont)! Until people got killed of course. I am skeptical... Not buying the pack of wolves story. No disrespect. Not saying it ain't true... But early FakeNews!©??? Wolf attacks in N.America have been highly embellished. Verses other animals, wolves/canids are a different story. More myth than reality. Here is a very interesting read if you want to dive into it! https://www.researchgate.net/publication/301267098_Predators_That_Kill_Humans_Myth_Reality_Context_and_the_Politics_of_Wolf_Attacks_on_People "Historical Wolf Attacks (Pre-1950) History is repeatedly used by competing factions to legitimize various positions in politics, and wolf conservation is no exception. The relationship between wolves and humans has a rich cultural history with written source stretching back over 2000years (Lopez 1978 ; Carbone 1991 ; Marvin 2012 ). Accounts of wolf attacks on humans are widespread throughout history. However, a considerable challenge occurs when trying to assess the accuracy of various sources. There is a whole genre of folktales that portray cases of wolves chasing horse-drawn sleights in winter, or attacking soldiers and postal workers as they travel alone through the woods (Carbone 1991 ; Snerte 2000 ). Although widespread in local oral traditions, these tales turned up repeatedly across Europe from the nineteenth century and onwards following the rapid expansion in printed materials (precursors to today’s tabloids) in that period which used images and text to generate emotional responses in readers (Sangiovanni 2012 ). Despite the stories often being portrayed as having occurred locally (in each of many localities), there is no indication that they are based on factual events. In recent years, European historians have studied the administrative archives to gather more robust information about the historical relationships between people and wolves..."
