"The carpenter came home one day...
A carpenter came home one day only to discover his wife in bed with another man.
In a total rage, he dragged the naked man down the stairs to the garage and put his penis in a vice.
He then secured it tightly and removed the handle.
Next he picked up a hacksaw.
The terrified man, screamed, "Stop! Stop! You're not going to cut it off are you?"
The man, with a gleam of revenge in his eye, said, "Nope. You are. I'm going to set the garage on fire." "- 1

You have a good plan in place! We always aim for a refund, but we were surprised to find that some behind the scenes stuff caused us to owe big this year. As much as I hate taxes, it’s a good problem to have I suppose. I’m in less of a hurry than usual.
Ever since 2017 they withhold less from my wife. I just set it aside throughout the year and pay on 4/15...
Anyway, you can do your taxes earlier and delay the payment till the 15th. 😉 Set up an EFT from where ever the payment will be.

I’m a huge record collector and one thing I look for is oddball albums, such as those by sports figures. I’ve been looking for Schoeny vinyl, so far I’m still looking. Recently I acquire Shaquille ONeil - I’m so Awesome lol
That's vinyl on Amazon. Acceptable $19. Good condition/collectible $33.

The In-n-Out and Denny's that closed in Oakland are right next to the stadium. The Denny's is literally adjacent to where they store the visitor side seats during the baseball season (they go in Center field). I'm surprised the seats aren't stolen in the summer. The whole neighborhood plazas and streets have people living in RVs. If they built a new stadium in the same place, they would have to build an armed security compound for parking. The airport is only a mile or two away and people who are gassing up before turning in their rental cars are getting their cars broken into while going inside to pay.
We went to Raiders-Bills game in 2005. Stayed in SouthFrisco and took the BART. Got in and got out! 😆

1970s: GlobalCooling!
Who can't forget that. It was rough and cold. Snowy. I think 1976-1979, w/1978 being still the record for snow in BFLo between the major snow belt cities Erie, PA, & Syracuse... Great Lakes ice coverage too...

"...You got a fast car,
I got a job that pays all our bills,
You stay out drinkin' late at the bar,
See more of your friends than you do of your kids,
I'd always hoped for better..."[Always loved that snarky line, makes the song go even deeper than it incredibly is!]

I was trying to find a screenshot of AJ Klein in coverage against Travis Kelce to dispute this, but he's not close enough to him in any of the still photos to be in-frame. 🤷♂️
True... But Bills were matching them serve for serve until the end.

We put in a Lochinvar @ work on the 64 year old (50 at time it went in) system. Seems to be running like a champion the last 14 years.

It absolutely scares me to death that there’s going to be an excuse every freakin year that McDermott is HC. We’re all watching him handpick his scapegoats year after year. I have nothing against Brady and Babich but seriously? This is a championship caliber roster ABSOLUTELY ready to win NOW. Yet we have two young, inexperienced coordinators matched with a sketchy game caller and clock/timeout manager. I don’t like it. I don’t trust McDermott in the big spots. I hope I’m wrong. Oh, special teams straight up sucks. If we had players with a killer instinct they’d take this thing over and win in spite of the coaching staff. That happens in the NFL. But we don’t have that either.
SBXXVII started off beautifully. Tasker blocked a punt! Guy should be a Hall of Famer. But nine turnovers is laughable. Nine possessions you just give the ball back. That’s insane.
I thought McD called a great game against Chiefs, managed clock perfect. Josh went for hone run with 1:30 left instead of the underneath first down. His usually strong arm failed him. Crazy. Then Bass' leg failed him.
Not making excuses... But that game isn't on McD. Maybe rolling the bones on fake punt, but that came out in the wash.
Honestly, again managed a great game.
Maybe it was the dead Indian bones? 😉

Same here. Just questioning that it really wasn't out of the blue given his health history once we were informed.
He was in his 60s. I thought he was younger.

As a child of the 70s (born in the last year of the Baby Boom in the 60s), I must applaud you for this list. You generally nailed it.
Just one correction: those ridiculously underpowered Camaros were really a thing of the 80s.
PJ O'Rourke said the 60s were a "decade without quality control." The line was good, but it applied to the 70s, not the 60s.
Don't underestimate the infancy of the Z/28

Just read where he has been arrested 6 times for DWI, 6!!!! 3 where I live is a felony, mandatory jail for a good amount of time and loss of license. Wow, just when I thought I couldn't like the Mahomes family any less, here we are! I think they have surpassed my Tom Brady hate, something I thought I would never say! BTW hate is a strong term, "dislike" may be more appropriate
Go check out the Josh-Tom thread... Brady is an alright dude now! 😆
Kick the Ball in Overtime

Did Shanahan know the rules for playoffs? He wanted ball third? 😆
What an idiot:

Then why kick the FG if you think Mahomes & Chiefs will score every time.
He screwed up royally the advantage that was won with coin toss!
