.004% of unarmed blacks death are by police...and no country is perfect.

I am not sure your stats are correct, but shouldn’t that number be 0%?

I absolutly support the athletes right to protest and if I were given the same voice and abilities, I would join them on the field.  They are not saying negative things about the Military (nor the FBI, see trumps daily tweet) they are taking a knee in silent protest because of police brutality.

  2. Aww yes a Rookie QB without much talent around him, what could go wrong.  Stay at 12, I think the QB hype is just that, hype! One of the top 4 will be there at 12 and if I’m wrong, so be it, build around the QB position and address it next draft.  Let’s say Buffalo gives up the farm to get a QB, but that QB fails, history says it’s likely.  Then we still don’t have a QB and now we don’t have any draft picks and we are set back 3-4 years.

InCog's retirement means that there is a glaring hole at LG now. Even if you are comfortable with Groy at Center (Which I am) and Dawkins at LT (Which I am) and the regime feels like John Miller in a new scheme will turn it around at RG there still are 2 glaring holes along the O-line. I think you have to see a fairly high pick along the O-line.

I don’t know what happened to Miller, but I saw him working out on instagram, he looks good.  I think we can all hope he has a breakout year.

They could be all in on trading up and still get stuck without a partner. Or the QBs could slide more than expected and allow them to keep 22.

it would be irresponsible to only look at the top QBs even if they are your plan

Exactly, trading up requires a team that’s okay trading down, if Denver wants a QB and the Browns don’t want to move down much.  We really can’t do anything about it, despite every attempt to move up.  If we were sitting in Denver’s spot and wanted a QB, I’d start talking to the giants and Browns, offer right of first refusal.  If Buffalo makes a call to New York or Cleveland, don’t think they won’t Call Denver to see what they’ll offer.  Buffalo has to have a fallback plan.  Smith might be a part of it.

From picks 12-32, the only teams who could take a QB in round one is the Bills and Cardinals. If at pick 12 and both Josh Allen and Rudolph are available, I can definitely see one of them still being there at 22 unless someone comes from the 2nd round and trades back into the 1st ahead of us.

Get the LB Smith, come back at 22 or trade up and get the QB...rather get the for sure player.

  6. Allen scares me, all of that arm talent and numbers that bad...I get it, he can throw through a wall, but all the highlights show him throwing to stationary receivers, it looks like he misses his first read and then runs around till someone is open.  I get the argument that he didn't have superior talent around him, but nor was he playing against superior talent.  Our WRs/TE might be the NFL version of the Wyoming receivers.   I would rather get the ILB (if available).

  7. Here's my thought process, if the player (QB) that we want is not there, trade down...tell everyone that Buffalo wanted AJ from the beginning and we played it correctly.  But trade down and get another 1st for next year, maybe someone wants Jackson and needs to leap frog Arizona.  Still keep two 1st,  pick up a 3rd this year and another 1st next year (like we did last year) Maybe the saints want their QB of the future?  Or stay put if it mean we can get one of the two outstanding ILBs.

If AJ is good, that's great, gamble paid off!  If he is awful, then we'll have a chance to draft Lock or Patterson, or whoever is the top QB prospect next year...regardless, that QB, will be put into a situation where we have a boat load of cap room to spend on vets and a very talented young team and a bridge QB still (AJ or Peterman).  I hate putting it off for another year, but its this or we reach on a QB we are not sure of.

hopefully our guy is there at 12 though

  8. I fear he is Jeff George, someone known for their arm talent, not their QB talent, I would actually stay as far away from him as possible.  My ranking of the QB would be:

1-Darnold-I think he'll have to adjust his throwing motion, he drops the ball low, the additional motion allows CBs to jump routes, otherwise he looks like a sure thing.  Expecting him to be the first QB taken (likely by the Browns)

2-Mayfield-it's not his attitude, it's his size, without a clean pocket he is just going to have a hard time.  He will be successful in the Buffalo offense, this Erhardt-Perkins offense fits Mayfield perfectly. (third QB taken hopefully by Buffalo)

3-Rosen-Might have the prettiest throwing motion in the draft, balance and everything you want, my concern is his toughness.  Again, like the two above him, I think he will be an exceptional QB in the NFL (2nd QB taken, Jets maybe)

4-Luke Falk-this could be the next Tom Brady, no wasted motion, good pocket awareness, good touch but doesn't zip the ball, don't get me wrong he can throw it, just doesn't zip it.  My concern is he seems to fail in big game situation, he isn't going to be able to step in and take control day one, he is a person that you sit a year or two, but he is a good investment. (7th taken, ideally he'd end up on the west coast, LA Chargers)

5-Jackson-I love watching Jackson, but he is going to need some coaching...he is a faster Vince Young, I don't want to compare him to Vick, he is Young, he'll have a great beginning to his career and then teams will figure it out. (6th taken Denver Round 2)

6-Rudolph-I think there is a lot of talent here, but he is a system QB, his ideal landing spot would be with Patriots.  There he could learn to play in the NFL and become Brady's replacement.  (5th taken, by NE end of round one)

7-Josh Allen-all the reason we've talked about, tons of arm talent...I'm shocked by how bad his college stats were.  they say that the Peytons and the Bradys of the NFL make their WRs better, if you could say the same about Allen, than he had pedestrians playing WR.  But he looks the part (4th QB taken by Arizona)

    just one guys opinion.

  9. Of course, but the good news is, this is one of the best 43 linebacker drafts.  Buffalo could get Vander Esch at 22, come back in the 3rd and get another will backer that could start by mid season.

or personal favorite idea, trade a 4th Hendricks and still draft Vander Esch at 22

  10. I've decided to do twelve picks

    It's Cleveland so....

    1-Cleveland-Barkley RB

2-Giants trade out of this pick to the Jets-Josh Rosen, Jets give 2nd round pick and next year 1st and 3rd.

3-Colts-Chubb the DE, not the RB, need for a pass rusher greater than the need for a CB

4-Cleveland-Fitzpatrick the DB, having signed their savior in Tyrod, they decide to wait another year.

5-Denver-Having just signed Case, they sign Nelson the guard from ND, not a splashy move, but a sound one.

6-Giants-trade out of this pick to Buffalo, Buffalo send the 12th and a 3rd this year and next years 1st, then draft Sam Darnald

7-Tampa Bay-Vita Vea  surprise of the draft, they want to add to the DL, but Davenport is a reach.

8-BearsRoquan Smith- great add to this team that will be better next year.

9-49ers trade this pick to the Cardinals for the Cards 1st, 2nd and 5th pick in this draft and a 3rd next year and draft Baker Mayfield

10-Raiders-needing a pass rusher, draft Davenport  first none QB bust in the draft

11-Miami Dolphins-Josh Allen, everyone in Miami is either scratching their heads or thinking they found Marino's twin, this will give their head coach new life and Tannehill will be on the hot seat, meaning he will have the best year of his short career.

12-Giants, so the Giants have stolen this draft in a way, they now have three first round picks in next years draft (theirs, the Jets and the Bills) an additional 2nd and 3rd in this years and two additional 3rd round picks next year.  (this will make the NFL network very happy) the Giants select Edmunds the ILB from VT.

this is what I think will happen.
