Historically, Buffalo does not keep 6 WR, but with the primary kick returner likely being a WR, I could see a 6th WR, I also think Hancock will be the 5th Safety over Hamlin. Lewis over Hamlin as well, he’s one of the best gunners the team has.

defending my draft...This is post White signing
Harmon might be my favorite DT, he is a 3 down DT and had an almost 18% pass rush win rate. He can play both one tech and 3.
Revel would be a top 15 pick if not for injury, with Whites return, they can ease him into being NFL ready, off the charts athlete.
Schwesinger- need a plan after Milano leaves, add that at least one LB seems to always be injured
Oluwafemi Oladejo-Edge rusher, has some juice, need cost managed depth piece
Kyle Williams-had a 89 PFF grade against man cover, just watch the Syracuse game.
Robinson-depth DT, had 6 sacks last year
Frazier-long and athletic CB, double dip in case Revel needs to sit longer
Moore-better than Hamlin

I hope this worked, very unrealistic, but I’d love it. -
didn't want to put it as a new topic, but the Sporting News released their Mock draft, and honestly if this draft happened, I would be happy.
Round 1-DT Derrick Harmon
round 2-Pick 56: TRADE to Saints for WR Chris Olave
Round 2, Pick 62: CB Darien Porter, Iowa State
Round 4, Pick 109: EDGE Kaimon Rucker, North Carolina-not my favorite pick, but honesty, I would take him as the 4th/5th DE
Round 4, Pick 132: LB Kobe King, Penn State- better than Spector...pretty productive
Round 5, Pick 169: DB Upton Stout, Western Kentucky-undersized, slot corner
Round 5, Pick 173: WR Tai Felton, Maryland-6'1" sub 4.4 speed and productive in college...this would be a steal here
Round 6, Pick 177: TE Oronde Gadsden II, Syracuse-athletic TE, dad was a Dolphin
Round 6, Pick 206: RB Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State-I am not sure if there is a place for him on the team, but maybe they can IR him and keep him for a year.

This is the best offseason news, I was worried he wasn’t going to be extended and at a great price.
I wouldn’t mind adding Gilmore on a 1 year 7 million dollar deal, to play opposite. Then still drafting a corner or two.-

That would be great, but I don't think Emmanwori, Hairston, Knight or Alexander will be around for any of those picks. Other than Knight, I don't think Emmanwori, Hairston or Alexander even make it to the Bills first 2nd round pick.
I 100% agree, this would be insane. In the mock I had the option between Hairston, Alexander and Porter…I like all three, Hairston is just so athletic and younger than porter

Good morning gents, this is my latest mock using nfldraftbuzz.com
(the file is too big to fit, so I’m writing it out, sorry)
30-Kenneth Grant-DT
56-Nick Emmanwori-S
62-Maxwell Hairston CB
109 Demetrius Knight Jr LB
132~Darius Alexander DT
169 Dont’e Thornton JR WR
170-Dorian Strong CB
173-Oluwafemi Okazaki-Edge
177-Dylan Fairchild OG
206-Orande Gadsden JR TE
how I justify my picks;
Grant was a best value in a need position. Very surprised to find him sitting at 30.
Emmanwori, pure value, his measurables are elite, again this won’t happen, but it was nice to see. Imagine what McDermott could do with that.
Hairston-fast corner, could allow more man coverage, NFL ready
Knight-have to accept that that Milano can’t play forever. And I’d like to get Spencer off this team.
Alexander-in light of the PED, this is a important pick, I’d keep Carter and Alexander on the team for the first 6 weeks, if one is playing better, I trade the other or release him.
Thornton Jr is a 6’4” WR, with a lot of speed. I’d keep him to run just deep patterns.Strong is a solid corner, good depth piece
Oladejo-pass rusher, need after PED suspensions. Rotational guy.
Fairchild-best value, older prospect, but has been very good playing in the SEC…not sure what the future is for Edwards and we can’t pay the going rates for a top interior Guard…insurance
Gadsden Jr- really just an FU to Miami, undersized TE, with play making ability. Could be the 3rd TE
what I also should have done: RB, in case the cook thing goes south.

Has a boxing and Tennis background
hopefully this translate into quick feet and good eye/hand coordination
-
I think McDermott would say 22 spots are open and they’ll compete to start. Realistically, there’s about 6 places I’d like to bring in competition to compete fit starting.
#2 WR
interior oline,
both Safeties
CB
kixker/special teams

The issue I see. The two DT projected to go in the first round would be back ups to Oliver. In the 2nd round there’s projected 3, that I see making an immediate impact as back ups.
I could see getting a 2nd round DT and then doubling down in the 4th or 5th. It’s not the best DT draft, a lot of lighter guys that could never fill Jones’ spot.

If we got those two players, I think I'd be happy!
Same, JPJ has the size and power to play Guard. He would be a huge improvement to Edwards.
-
I’d prefer the 2nd one, Dejean and Jenkins…a good 2nd RB. Jerry’s kid and two high motor DEs
-
My attempt, lucky DeJean fell to Buffalo, instant FS starter, still would sign a Free agent.
in the 2nd took an explosive WR, a faster AJ Brown (IMHO)
3rd got a back up explosive RB with size, adds to responsible good RB room. Also got a Guard to compete at LG.
Foster is another Tackle that could be moved to guard. Cedric Johnson or Cole gives Buffalo a 4th DE (I assume they’ll resign Lawson still) so maybe 5th.
Pick 189 is a athletic LB, likely a PS candidate, but insurance.
Boyd and Lovette are potential back ups, both have good size, Lovette could be a steal.
and if you see a guy with the last name Bills, I think the Bills have to make that happen.

This draft might be the most important draft Buffalo has had in 3 years. We need every pick, we need the scouts to be extra scoutie. We need need our middle rounders to make the team.

Diggs, Shakir, Hollins, Samuel, Shorter…even Kincaid (WR/TE). Nice WR room.
Face it…we need an interior O lineman or a safety.
Deal with it.
I don’t think the WR room is done, we need the same thing now as we did last year. A take the top off WR. I also believe the Safety market in free agency is cheap. If we make one more signing, I think it’s a safety.
There won’t be a safety that falls to 28 or is worthy of 28…it’s no man land.
I do think DT is a priority, but sadly this draft isn't the best for what we need. Not having that 3rd round comp is BS.

There’s a part of me that is sad for the Dolphins…nah…worse fans in the NFL
Best part, this is their window, it closed yesterday
tua is a game manager that needs talent around him to be slightly better than average. Now they are looking at a QB that will want to reset the market, and sexual predator DT that wants 20 million a season…with a negative salary cap situation
-
We need to tighten up, last two games are just as important. Hopefully, something similar happens and playoff Josh Allen returns. Maybe Houston can release Hughes so we can get payoff Jerry back.
-
For the best team in the NFL we have a lot of holes 🤦🏻♂️

I’m seeing a lot of hate for him, but I loved Sammy when he was a Bill, had he played with Allen I think he would’ve been great. But his career years were as a Bill.

We're going to stick with our current RB core. There will be no trades. We need those picks for OL and Defense.
We don't have enough money to chase RB Saquon Barkley during the Summer because we have to sign WR Gabe Davis. I bring up Saquon Barkley because Josh Allen likes him.
I'm intrigued about CB James Bradberry though, but we don't have enough money to sign him either.
Please take a listen to locked on Bills, Friday’s episode (I think) will help you sleep better.
Monday morning I’m calling SF, I want 6’ 212 pound Jeff Wilson Jr, through 6 games he has 400 yards rushing and just lost his starting spot to CMC. I think a 4th should do it.

Don’t think of CMC as a running back, think of him as a slot WR with after catch abilities and occasionally a RB. I personally don’t see him as a huge upgrade, is he better than any other slot WR we have? yeah probably…but I’d rather have a pounding RB in the 225+ range, but it’s not up to me.
-
Johnson actually provides more in run support, he’s played well in spot duty.

If you think about it, it’s not so much that the fans are coming from Western NY, we are coming from everywhere. The age of most of us that lived through the golden years as impressionable kids are between 42-50, we are at the age where we moved away and have jobs. I live in Florida (Orlando) grew up in WNY so it’s really my only chance to see Buffalo in person this year. We have a large community of fans in Orlando. A lot are not even from WNY, but they are in that age group and remember cheering for them as a 10 year old.

If I had a surprise cut, it would be crowder.
yesterday, Kumerow hurt his chances and Hodgins helped his. I like Hodgins and think under different circumstances he could be Stevie Johnson year 3. But can he play special teams?-
