  1. I see your point, and what you say is true. Adams is not a freak athlete, but I still think a lot of teams would love to have him. We shall see.

The Safety I am most skeptical about is Obi Melifonwu. Is he a very good football player, or is he a combine star? He certainly has great measurables, but from some of the game tape I've seen of him, he looks average to me. I think there is more hype than certainty with him.

I agree, I think at best he'll be the third safety in a big Nickel package. I wouldn't draft him till the third

  2. Your source is someone in Batavia saying the new stadium should be in Batavia and you think that means they would actually move there and be called the Batavia Bills? Wow

Exactly! And this isn't a new idea. IF they were to move within the greater Buffalo area, it wouldn't be to Batavia...there would be too many displaced cows as a result

  3. You think Cleveland would give up, for our #10, their #12, 3rd round pick AND Gordon? Buffalo may be a better organization than cleveland, but so is every other team in the league right now. Doesn't say much , does it? We have our share of drug suspensions too.

If it means Arizona can't, they might, there's too much uncertainty with Gordon to not and the 3rd round pick serves as value.

  4. I'd be very okay with trading draft positions for Gordon, as long as he's the icing and less the value, a 10 for 12, their 3rd and Gordon, makes sense. Gordon needs a better organization to play for, Buffalo is that (hard to believe sometimes)

This doesn't remove the need for a WR for Buffalo, but it helps. At 12, I'd consider trading down again, Tampa might want to move up 7 spots to get the RB they desire...why not add a 2nd round pick too.

If we ended the weekend with

    The 19th pick

    2 2nd round picks

    2 3rd round picks

We could get, the TE, Safety, Corner, LB and OT we need (all top 100 talents)and still get Josh Gordon.

I think that would be a slam dunk draft.

  5. That is an option that could win us a game?

I think if we are down to our 3rd QB in a game, we are in survive mode.

I think what the thought is, keep Jones as the back up, if we are down to Jones starting, due to an injury to Tyrod in that same game, the emergency QB would be Logan Thomas. Most teams don't dress a third string QB, if we draft someone or get a UDFA, he can stay on the practice squad till he is called up due to injuries.

  6. There were plenty of times Glenn lined up on the right, on a heavy set, I am pretty sure he did not protest this move. I firmly believe would be the best RT in the NFL if he were to line up there, I re-watched some of the Browns game yesterday (I was bored and needed a pick me up) Kouandjio more than held his own, he physically looks like what you want a LT to look like, he looks a lot more athletic than his Combine numbers would indicate too. If we do this and he struggles, we have an answer...move Glenn back and start Mills at RT, but I think if we have the Kouandjio we had last year for those few games, we will have a great year.

  7. I think we need to trade down, we have 4 major weak spots

1-will LB, even if Zach Brown re-signs here, I think he is best suited to play the Mike.

2-2nd WR, we have much better WR depth, but we need someone to take pressure off of Watkins

3-cornerback, Darby is fine, but Seymour is unproven. He could turn out to be suitable. We also need a Nickel unpgrade

4-RT, unless Glenn is moved there and Kujo starts at LT.

    How I'd address it.

First trade down, if we can get another pick in the top 100, we would be in good shape, ideally Cleveland who needs to move up to get their QB, they could give one of their stockpiled picks. Let's say it's a third round pick.

1st-Foster, I think the combine makes him slip a little.

Foster-ZBrown(hopefully)-Ragland makes me feel pretty good, with PBrown, Humber and Alexander as back ups, Alexander could also add a joker element.

2nd-Zay Jones-size and speed. Coaching staff knows him well.

3rd(a) best remaining CB, hopefully Witherspoon

I'd also add Alterraun Verner, he's a average zone corner we could use as a Nickel

3rd(b) David Sharpe OT, a Glenn clone 6'6" 345 with 35+ inch arms. Good movement skills and played in the SEC

  8. Hate:

    love: the Bills

like: The saints (live in NOLA and girlfriend is a fan, she grew up here)

mildly like-who ever is playing the Patriots*...even if that means cheering for the Jets or Dolphins

  9. We need a weak side LB, a WR and corners.

That's why I'm in favor of trading down.

My ideal scenario would involve this

Houston loses out on the Romo deal, Cousins remains in DC, NE doesn't trade Jimmy G to Cleveland.

SF picks a QB. With Cleveland and Arizona right behind us, Houston offers their first pick (25th) a third this year, next year's first, but in this deal we give up a 4th next year and our 6th this year. All to get a QB

Recap: our 10th pick, our 6th round pick and next year's forth for Houston's 25th pick, a third and next year's first.

We draft Foster, who I could see falling after the combine. 2nd round we pick Zay Jones and a CB like Witherspoon in the third and another WR or CB in the third.

Then next year we have two firsts, so if Tyrod struggles we have the picks to move up to get a better pick and QB. If he doesn't struggle, then we will have two picks to fill other holes.

Getting vets on a one year deal wouldn't be a bad move either i.e. Stevie Johnson if he's healthy and the corner from Tampa.

We then could carry additional cap room into Free agency next year

  10. I think it's clear we are trying to get younger and are going to trade down, 6 picks to fill this many holes isn't enough. I know we are also going to capitalize on the 2nd wave, Zach Brown, Sean Spence and Jenkins can fill linebacker gaps. Claiborne and Verner can help the secondary. Floyd and Aikens can help the WR. I expect @ least 2 of these guys signed
