Madden 06 Team Ratings - Bills 11/16 in AFC
geggytah replied to brihs2005's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
remember that the injury rating will bring down the overall individual rating of some of our key players like losman and mcgahee. -
i am pondering purchasing a house this coming fall worth approximately 125,000. can any one out there give me a rough estimate on how much the insurance would be on the house based on your own insurance?

rumor Nate Clements to the redskins

yeah great...trade away our best playmaker on defense. remember what made our defense so special last year? turnovers. we always had a solid defense yardage wise but it didn't translate into wins until last year when we were able to add the ability to create turnovers on top of simply shutting people down. why would you trade our best player in terms of creating turnovers? he's young, he's cocky (a must for a top shelf CB IMHO), he has great skills, size, and speed. he will also cost a lot of money...but you DO have to play for top shelf talent in this league. just because we had him under a bargain contract for the last 3 years doesn't mean we were paying him market value. we paid him under market those 3 years and in turn i feel we should at least pay market value to keep him. i think a takeo spikes (is it 5 years $30 million) would be about right. if nate wants a randy moss or payton manning sized contract then i really think trading him has to be considered. pay the man though...he is a great CB (yes he has made a few boneheaded plays like the jacksonville game last year, but i guaruntee he has learned from that mistake and will "BAT IT DOWN" in future situations like that....experience was all he needed and he has got that now) -
but he did yell to him to get out........ his father just took the kidney and ran
-
when was he reading that book? i know a few episodes back he was reading "A Wrinkle in Time" while Michael and Jin were working on the boat....i didn't catch (or don't remember) him reading anything else before that time.

the funny thing is that you aren't kidding.... is it 8 yet? now is it? what about now?

Just pondering another Travis Scenario
geggytah replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in all likelyhood, THIS is what i see happening. i know we are all dying for moves to be made by OBD, but in terms of getting the bang for the buck that travis henry is, we are much better off waiting for a desperate team to give up a valuable draft pick. right now, i don't see any desperate teams. there will be though...i promise you that. think back to when olandis gary became expendable for us. certainly he was no where near in the class of a TH, yet TD netted a 5th round (i believe) from the desperate Lions. If Gary is worth a 5th, TD should get nothing less than a mid 2nd round pick imho. patience and opportunity are the key though. -
also, i have been going back and watching old episodes just to rehash some things out and see how things are tying together. since there isn't a new episode for a few weeks, i figure i'd let everyone in (if you didn't know already) on a GREAT source for downloading TV shows...especially LOST. the shows are recorded in HD, so quality is DEF not an issue and the file size is approx. 350 MB. with a good connection it should take 2 hours tops to download an episode. first, you need a program to download torrents. http://www.bitlord.com has a free program to do that with no spyware. second, go to http://www.tvtorrents.com/ and click on the TV show, then the episode you want to download. save the torrent (file) to your desktop then open it using the bitlord program. bada bing, bada boom...you have yourself past edisodes of you favorite tv shows!!!

sparknotes version of the book's summary: http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/wrinkle/summary.html several interesting points in here that could tie in to future episodes

crap i didn't hear that he was injured agaain last night...it was the same ankle even!!! good news is that he was walking after the game and not on crutches. better news is...the all-star break is next weekend, which allows him to heal up.

why terrible? webber is constantly in and out of the lineup so who knows where he'll be during the rest of the seasons...much less the playoffs. as for nash...yeah he was a little hard to give up, but he does not fill up the steals or blocks categories and i do have brevin knight on my team as well to lessen the blow of losing all those assists. also, sacramento has the least games during the 3 playoff weeks. as for the second trade, the hidden secret in doing that lies in the schedule as well. charlotte and chicago have the most games left this season and washington is second in that category. and they all have great playoff week schedules. so what do you think now?

just looking for a little advice and/or analysis of moves i have made and look to make in my fantasy league. the leauge is 9 categories and has 12 teams with 13 players on each team. i recently made this trade: Give - Chris Webber and Steve Nash Get - Kobe Bryant and Tyson Chandler thoughts? also, i am looking to make this trade right now: Give - Sam Dalembert, Jalen Rose, and Derrick Fischer Get - Emeka Okafor, Larry Hughes, and Luol Deng thoughts? PLEASE

that, my friends, was my 500th POST!!!! oh what a long journey it has been...through troubled times and times of joy...i'd like to thank my fans out there first and foremost because without them this wouldn't be possible. my manager, who i can't seem to remember right now, was always there for me as well. natasha, loquisha, fred, derrick, bob, donovan, tom, billy, ted, tattiyana, jennifer, elizabeth, and everyone else out there that i forgot you know who you are!!! mom i love you and dad, you can go get another beer now. PEACE..... oh sorry...did i get a little carried away there?
-
or maybe the writer's of the show had no real agenda other than putting a bunch of ppl on an island, tell stories about their past, have some normal "stranded on an island" type things happen...and that's it, we have a show!!! i would be extremely pi$$ed if that were the case however.

just thought of this.... wasn't claire having contractions just before ethan kidnapped her? wasn't she gone for something like two weeks? and she STILL has the baby? something is up here. second thought....we should think about and analyze the multiple personalities theory ("Identity"). That is some serious fat to chew on.
-
i haven't previewed these yet...but here are some clips from tonight's episode: http://tv.yahoo.com/feature/lost.html is it 8 yet?
-
i have offered the combo of chris webber and steve nash to 2 opponents of mine. in return i have asked for either lebron james and marko jaric OR kobe bryant and tyson chandler. the clincher to these deals happening is that i also have brevin knight on my team, so my assists should still be on the high end. btw, this is a 12 team, 13 man roster, 8 category league.

i had something similar happen to my computer a few days ago. nothing was really wrong with my computer (except an annoying "New Folder" popped up on my desktop a few times a day...weird), but as is my policy for once every 6 month to a year anyway, i reformatted my HD and re-installed windows. the similar thing that happened to me was that when i tried to reinstall using my compaq CDs (which i have used once or twice before because they install all the extra drivers for my notebook), the computer would shut off when i got to either the second or third (of four) CD to reinstall windows. this happened AFTER i had reformatted!!! i had no clue what the problem was, but i went back to the normal windows CD that came with my notebook and that installed everything fine. i had to search around the HP website for all the extra drivers that i needed, but i got everything back to "normal". i have no clue why the compaq CDs didn't work though...and like you, it was my computer shutting down during the installation that gave me the problems.

thank you very much

been there done that...thus why i had to break down and risk posting an (OT) post and oops! looks like i forgot to put (OT) on my topic. any other suggestions? this is annoying to me...and probably you!

and i'm looking for where the new links that i make with mozilla are located...not the old links that i imported already.
-
no no no...i mean where is it located on my hard drive? i know i can find them in my bookmark list, but if i want to copy and paste them all onto another computer i have to be able to open the folder that they exist in. right?
-
and the links folder is where?

i FINALLY decided to get away from IE and switched to firefox. i successfully imported my favorites list from IE and installed a bunch of very useful extensions. one question though: to what directory are the bookmarks saved? the favorites for IE are saved under the documents and setting folder, but i can't seem to locate the folder that contains any new bookmarks that i make with mozilla. answers?
