i am trying to avoid reinstalling windows because it is only a slightly annoying problem...nothing major.

for the last month or so every few minutes (sometimes seconds) a "New Folder" pops up on my desktop. i don't want it there...obviously. after i put it in the recycle bin, within a few minutes or sometimes instantaniously, a new "New Folder" pops up. why??? and how do i make it stop? my guess is that i have a program that tries to save something to that directory, but nothing actually ever gets put in it so i have no clue what program would be doing it. any guesses?

i've had my HP pavilion ze4500 for close to a year now and have had no problems what-so-ever. very satisfied with HP overall and i would definately buy from them again. www.ecost.com is a great site for finding computer deals.

or the mother had enough common sense to know that anything could happen in the future (i.e. an accident that killed her or her husband or both, or the walt grows up and wants to meet his father and she then gives him the letters, any number of things could happen to give the letters meaning)...so she kept them on the notion of "what if...."

counting crows VH1 storytellers....great acoustic set of some very familiar songs. as always, adam duritz pours his heart out in this ten song collection. good stuff...go get it if you don't have it. i'll second DMB's red rocks concert. probably my most listened to CD(s) ever. haven't listened to them in a while though...damn mp3s make getting music too easy. its too much work to load a cd into the cd player these days.

i got excited to watch the bulls game last night (they are in the playoffs as of last night!!!) that i forgot about LOST. i remember someone saying that they could be downloaded.....where???

shaud williams is a decent back, however he is no backup RB. he is a change of pace RB, or an RB that can finish out a game for you. if WM ever got hurt and SW had to be our starting RB, we would be in deep stevestojan.

yeah you're right...it's not lindell's or drew's or our "bend and break a little" defense, it was definately a post i made on a buffalo bills message board that made us lose. yup. my bad.

well i seemed to have pissed off the NY Jets football god....kickoff return for a TD and a rams fumble since i posted that first post....my bad. let me correct myself: it would please me very much if the bills would win this game and that rams would win their game, football gods willing of course.

well if we can't beat the B squad of the steelers with a 1 point lead in the second half, then we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. we WILL be in the playoffs! i'll wager that the steelers don't score another point the rest of the game. bring on the bolts

i know someone got blasted for this a few weeks back, thus the reason why i have waited so long to ask about this. please don't flame on me. i went to the help section of the board and have yet to figure out my problem. now i humbly bring my problem to the "voices of the board" and ask: why the heck do i have to log in to the board every time i close my browser (IE)? cookies problem? my computer has short term memory loss? i'm an idiot? all of the above? help!
