Looking at his college and preseason highlights, Tuel can make some really great throws when he has time...He needs to figure out what to do when he does not. All of his good mechanics go right out the window when he is hurried. I was pleasantly surprised today by Lewis play. That being said, he has to be taught not to hang on to the ball when everyone's covered. Much better to either throw it away or tuck it and run. I was surprised that after his early success at running when under duress (he actually seems to "get up to speed" quicker than EJ), he pretty much abandoned that strategy later on in the game which resulted in many of those untimely sacks.

Wow, good post. Pictures are worth a thousand words there. Easley is not as fast but looks quite fluid and relaxed on those tests, TJ looked a bit awkward, as though he was more worried about being fast and setting a time rather than successfully completing each drill.

I for the most part agree with your premise. I am can see a lot of improvement in our team already compared to last year, especially the defense. IMO if we can simply stop beating ourselves with dumb penalties and go back to taking advantage of what our offensive players do best, we can be competitive in every game. That being said, we are probably not going to compete for a playoff spot again this year. There are still to many weak spots in our game (mostly offensive gameplan/playcalling) for that, maybe next year. Anyhow, welcome to the forum, you might want to be a little bit more specific with your thread titles and whatever you do, do not make a mistake and hit "Post" more than once. Some of the posters here will club you to death for that (virtually).
