  1. If that were true then McDermott wouldn't be taking it one week at a time.
  2. When the defense is dominant like today, Taylor gives you a better chance. But if the defense is poor and you're playing from behind, Taylor offers nothing. Peterman is a gunslinger and when you're down you need a QB who takes chances. It is what it is.
  3. Or the NFL quarterback could have thrown it to his target. That's a better idea.
  4. McDermott didn't throw it at O'Leary's ankles while he was all alone and prevented a first down in the 4th quarter. That was Taylor.
  5. Again - thinking McDermott is conservative and benching Taylor is a GIANT contradiction.
  6. Peterman was chucking the ball all over the place last week. Pretty obvious McD told him why he was yanking Taylor - he wants the QB to take chances, not sacks.
  7. If McDermott loved to punt then he wouldn't have benched Tyrod last week.
  8. And Taylor and the OLine.
  9. I'm usually an aggressive guy. But the offense is a disgrace. KC could have used those timeouts on the last drive but didn't have them.
  10. Dennison + Taylor + OLine = "Let's force KC to burn their timeouts and see if the D can win this one" It was McDermott's call - and it wasn't wrong.
  11. What do you mean? We saw what they accomplished.
  12. Maybe they gave him the benefit of the doubt and determined that he could possibly run a real NFL offense and not a run-oriented college offense built around the read-option?
  13. Maybe his benching will force him to become a whole new player. We can only hope.
  14. So you'd rather argue semantics than actually discuss the topic on hand? You know lack of aggressiveness is a huge flaw of Taylor's and exactly why he was benched. To argue otherwise is delusional.
  15. Oh, really? Do tell...
  16. That's the problem with Tyrod. Many quarterbacks have an awareness/knowledge as to when they should play it safe and when they need to take chances. Tyrod is ALWAYS in safe mode no matter the score.
  17. I still do not get the Rosen love. Here are the current rankings...
  18. An MVP performance for sure.
  19. There's that "hate" word again. Why are Tyrod lovers so emotional and over-dramatic? "Mommy - he's saying something mean about my Tyrod!"
  20. He's had one full season as a starter in this league and he led the team to 11 wins. He has a lot of untapped potential.
  21. I have no reason to dislike Tyrod at all, he's a great person. It's not hate. It's seeing things for what they are. Take the emotion down a notch, it's clouding your judgement.
  22. He's good at winning, for one.
  23. So you're hanging your hat on one underthrown, contested pass that could have been caught? Keep fighting the good fight.
