    You forgot Flutie. No one was jerked around worse than Flutie. Yet, whenever he did get in the game he produced. He wasn't ruined by being jerked in and out of the lineup. And of the 4, Flutie looked the sharpest by far.

     

    Touche' However, Flutie hads scads of experience, no? Trent is still teething compared to Flutie.

    How many of you want to try a completly different approach?

    #1 Can we agree that Ralph is cheap when it comes to hiring coaches?

     

    #2 Can we also agree that if Dick Jauron is fired, a bright young assistant will probably replace him?

     

    #3 Will you admit this doesn't work in Buffalo?

     

    This situation calls for some imagination or nothing will ever change in Buffalo until the team is sold.

     

    Tell me if you think this would be a better option and would Ralph buy into the change?

     

    I would build a coaching staff from Former Buffalo Bills only.

     

    #1 I want players that feel there is unfinished business in Buffalo and SHARE Buffalo's pain.

     

    #2 I will pay them a competitive NFL salary with a huge 1 million dollar bonus for winning the Superbowl to every coach.

     

    #3 I want former players that were leaders, and want a chance in Buffalo and are motivated to accomplish something that was not possible when they played here. This may provide closure for some ex-players that never won anything.

     

    This could be a total team effort by the coaching staff to work together to achieve something special.

     

    Please don't tell me no former players would be interested, you never know to you ask. I would hire a former Bill's player as head coach and interview everyone interested, then pick the BEST!

     

    I saw somewhere there is over 15,000 ex Buffalo Bills.

     

    This is an Example only

     

    Head Coach, Schottenheimer or Jim Hasslet. ( Must be an experiened HEAD COACH)

     

    Assistant Coach James Loften, and any number of qualified ex players

     

    Offensive Line Coach, Kent Hull, Joe D. Mike Montler

     

    Offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, Sam Wyche, don't think Jim would be interested.

     

    Defensive Coordinator, Chris Spielman, Jim Haslett,

     

    Defensive line coach, Phil Hanson, Mark Pike.

     

    Linebacker coach, Daryl Talley, Chris Spielman, Shane Conlan, Ray Bentley,

     

    You can fill in the rest of the coaching staff if you wish as this was only an example.

     

    Some of you guys may be laughing, and I will be laughing when the Bills hire some bright young assistant from Pittsburgh, then hire a bunch of bargain basement assistant coaches that have no vested interest in Buffalo

     

    I think Ralph would be happy with the competitive contracts and have no problem paying out the bonuses because the Bills would gain value.

     

     

    WE NEED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT WILL SATISFY RALPH AND THE FANS AND GET AWAY FROM BRIGHT YOUNG ASSISTANTS.

     

    You have 5 options

     

    #1 A bright young assistant as head coach, with bargain basement assistants.

    #2 Former Buffalo players with experience and desire ( interview everyone interested)

    #3 Hope Ralph will change and hire a real coaching staff

    #4 Stay with Dick Jauron

    #5 B word

    Sorry those are Trent's excuses, not JP's. Come on you can do better than that.

     

    Clearly Our QB's have been mishandled. Out of the bunch ...... (Rob Johnson, JP, and Trent) Trent has looked the sharpest. IMHO. JP has the deep ball, but Zero pocket presence. This topic isn't really about JP anyway. I think if we had a Parcells, this present team would kick ass.

    I've already got that covered. But again, why no response on the likely elimination of one of our Constitutional rights. The Left does not want us armed, cut and dried. How do you view the 2nd Amendment?

     

     

    Sd, I vote dem, and am well armed. I shoot at the range monthly, and have more than several firearms and long guns.

    I also have more than a few dem friends that shoot. No one is going to take away our right to bear arms. Let em try.

    I'm not a JP supporter, I'm a Bills fan. When JP had fumbles or Int's and people defended him, everyone just accused them of making excuses for their boy. Trent, has now given away two straight division games. He is doing exactly what he did last year of having a strong first few games, and then mediocre at best. I'm sorry, but Trent has not proved anything yet.

     

    Now, I know there are some "Trent can do no wrong" fans out there. So please, defend the guy who just wasted a 4-1 start to me.

     

    Bills from 1-3 in last 4 games. Playoffs?!?!?!

     

    Trent is the best QB we've had since Kelly ..... He's only 2 years old for christs sake.

    I know the sweetest girl and we are great friends and she lives with this POS control freak who beats the hell out of her. She is trying to move in with me, but scared to leave. She packed her stuff and was ready to move in this morning- and he was pissed. I spoke with her this AM, and have not heard from her since. She is afraid he is going to kill me. This POS smashed all her cell phones, does not let her out of the house, except for work, he takes her money. This girl is scared shitless of him. I really like her a lot and try and help. The only way I can speak with her is by visiting her at work- which I do frequently. Her best friend lives next door and he will not even allow her to speak with her friend.

     

    What to do? It is a horrible situation. I appreciate any advice

     

    If you love her, have her move in, file a restraing order / no contact, and get firearm training if you haven't already. Oh yeah, concealed weapons permit and a revolver ( very dependable)

     

    However, I would suggest you think this thing through thoroughly before you make any decisions, cause your life is gonna change in a big way.

     

    Don't be suprised if she begs you to smack her around when you have your first fight .

     

    If you don't love her, but want to help her, you're still gonna need to protect yourself from the P.O.S. boyfriend. Think hard.

    arriving first at a bar in Seattle to claim the Bills game on the corner tv..... 3-0 is all we get for the first quarter ..... helium baloons? seriusly? We "watch the game" on a cell phone, and shout louder than anyone , for a first down. We have people coming to our table for updates. We ( Bills fans) are enetring Rome on a Chariot. Yeah .... I said it.
