  1. Buffalo could have tried to score another TD at the end of the game, which is what the Cheatriots did last year. But he didn't. Class vs. Ass.

I was thinking the same thing at the bar this morning. My buddy was " put your foot on their throat"..... I'm saying " we won. This isn't 2004.......we're not going to blow this lead." We csme to play. Enjoy people, We have a special team.

  2. Well, you are nobody that matters, nothing! Neither am I. A poll wouldn't mean anything. The question is, what do THEY think, not what we think they may think.

But, that you suggest that the attitudes of his fellow professional teammates, were so damaged by him coming into the game, that the team had no chance to win a game, even though they were as close as only 7 points behind in the 3rd quarter, is reprehensible. If you really believe that, you should stop rooting for this team ASAP. Because, if that's true they are bunch of scum-sucking pussies. They must be guys who have never been in an unlikely comeback, never succeeded over long odds, never won a game with a substitute player they didn't think had the "right stuff".

So, what I am suggesting here is, if you REALLY believe that the game was lost when Edwards left, then you must think this is a really weak-willed team made up of worthless athletes....or perhaps your are just stupid. I'm guessing you are exaggerating, though, because thinking more precisely is too hard.

    scum-sucking pussies!!!

  3. oh and I forgot to mention the long drive that made it 14-0 what was that, over 14 plays or so and then there was the fact that our offense was on the field for the next 20 seconds(i give credit to jp though, that was an exciting play). I would take a slow and steady offense over a flashy one anyday, as long as they both can score. its almost as if they gameplaned to keep our offense off the field(where have we seen this gameplan before) because our defense isn't the scoring type(at least not like tennessee's). then you have there next long drive, another 12 plays, then the offense gets another long play, jp goes in for the touchdown, defense back on the field, another long drive 13 plays, then our offense can't stay on the field with a three-and-out, are you starting to see the picture here? now why don't you go back upstairs and try to convince yourself its not your fault you have two dads, its okay i will wait. :nana:

  4. From ZOW2 sad but true.

    - This game was a microcosm of JP's entire career. He's got his one trick up his sleeve (bomb) and no other game to speak of. He has no pocket presence, no clock in his head, terrible with ball security, has a penchant for taking huge sacks and generally makes the O-line look much worse than they are. This would be a 5-11 team with JP at the helm. I kinda' feel bad for him. Little did he know that Edwards' injury may have cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars. After this game, any team that may have given him a chance to be their starter next year just crossed that idea off their list. JP is headed for the same place that players like Harringotn and Carr are at. A career backup at best,

    gotta agree

  5. I don't know, but there doesn't seem to be a lack of people willing to launder the sheets. Tho, you can still see the brown streaks where it didn't quite come out despite the bleach and OxyClean.

The argument has been that if JP had the current OL, and Fairchild was replaced (with a guy that has called some good games), then we'd be able to make an evaluation. Well, there you go. Same results.

It just doesn't occur to the JP fanboys that the infrequent long ball, tho nice when it works once every two games, combined with taking sack after sack, fumbles, and bad reads just isn't good enough. People will still line up to lick his ---- b/c they so desperately want that 1st round pick not to have been a waste. JP ain't a bad guy. I don't wish him ill. He's just not a good QB in the NFL.

    JP FANBOYS!!

  6. Yeah with the great play of the O-Line & Defense, Trent would have won the game today.

I think they would have played harder, and more focused. It certainly would have been a more enjoyable game ... for me, if Trent played more than a series. He produced our 1st first down of the game. What's not to love?

  7. I agree with most of your points, as usual. One major exception.

Jauron should have challenged the Royal fumble, it would have been overturned. I have little doubt about that.

JP showed the good and the bad, today. He also showed the two things he does well, that Trent would do well to learn. Blast the ball downfield, once in a while, and run with authority, when necessary. With that said, JP isn't to blame for the loss, but he isn't the guy that is going to bring you back, against a pressuring D like that, either.

I would say, "This is Trent's team", but there hasn't been any doubt about that, all year.

Finally, let's make no mistake about this, this loss belongs to The Senator. Sing it loud throughout the forum. His stupid woofing, and constant 19-0 predictions are to blame for this. If he repents, all will be well, for the rest of the season.

    You are most holy, Dean

  8. 30 days till McCain/ Palin. I've started my preparation for the acceptance speach already. Red states unite and even the Dems that won't elect Obiden in will cast their vote for John McCain and Sara Palin. I see a land slide victory....God Bless America.

That is a very creepy avatar

  9. The only difference between Dan Quayle running as VP and Hussein Obama as Prez is that Hussein just speaks better..No accomplishments...no leadership (here I am, I voted present)...Sorry folks but if another 9/11 happens, he'll wait to do something based on a focus group or a poll...Name one thing that Hussein has done that would be judged unpopular...

Please any Obama fans, name one legislative achievement?

    You're an idiot.

  10. Don't know if you guys spotted this already, but Marshawn is not only a Beast on the field, he's a friggin writer too! Check this out: Marshawn's Post on Yard Bark And if you don't think that's real, head over to his website, scroll down and you can see his "blog entries".

    me talk pretty someday

  11. Ouch. That was a tough one. But it sure was a great program and a good watch. Good TV.

Wide right... that just resonates through me. Wide right...

What a resiliant bunch, they kept trying. So close. Those four straight are an amazing accomplishment. It was good to re-live that history as I was rather young when the Bills were doing this. It was a great time, going back and appreciating the rich Bills history. What a special team.

I loved how Marv coached. "When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us!"

It just wasn't meant to be  ...

Our Super Bowl victory will come.

It was a superb program. I see a lot of similarities in our current team. Good things are here again.

  12. I live in Seattle. What are the bars that you speak of? I will fill you in on what I know. I need to find a place to watch games at to man,

I watch the games at "The Pump House" in Bellevue. We have a TV reserved ..... about 3 or 4 diehard fans. Good drinks and food ..... bad name.

  13. Holy crap I didn't realize the outcome of the game until I read the tread title!

It's cause we won..... sarcasm aside, can you remember a similar situation where we had the balls, and the guts to back up a win like this? Again .... a very special season.... enjoy.

  14. What means the most is THE BUFFALO BILLS FINALLY GREW UP!

    1 We were playing great

    2 Jax came back

    3 Jax took the lead

4 Jax was looking like the better team

5 Buffalo took the ball down the field with 5 minutes to go and took the stride!

6 The D held and took Jax down their last drive!

    7 Bills Win

How many game should we of won last season and didnt because we "didnt" know how to close....

    I salute you you, sir.

  15. A gritty smash mouth game that the pundits said we would lose. we turned the corner folks. This team has sent a message to the NFL. We are going to smash you in the mouth. Gone are the days of run, run, run, pass.

We don't quit. We don't fold. We come to play.

Enjoy. This is a special year.

  16. Trent actually HAD a pocket all day. That has simply been rare for any Bills QB (including JP and Trent) for quite a while.

With that said, aside from the one sack (which was Trent's fault, I think) he was terrific in the pocket and certainly has better pocket presence than JP.

Where you been, man? I thought you were dead. Good to see you back.
