  1. I'll be good to go. It's playing on 4 screens @ the place I'm going to, so I'm not too worried.
  2. I already bought my tickets through Fandango, but I'm planning to arrive @ the theater by 9:30pm to get in line.
  3. I'll be there. Here, the earliest show starts @ 12:05am.
  4. I thought that was all your fault.
  5. I can't put the blame for the Pittsburgh loss entirely on one player or unit. That was truly a team loss. Why? 1. You can't blame Drew for a 3rd string RB running all over us or being unable to stop the Steelers on 3rd downs. 2. You can't blame the defense for Lindell missing a 28 yard FG. 3. You can't blame Lindell for the OL breakdowns that happened throughout the game. 4. It surely isn't the OL's fault that Drew wouldn't make some decisions, like getting rid of the ball instead of looking to make that big play (which cost us points courtesy of James Harrison). See? Everyone had a hand in that loss. I know, as I was there, sitting right next to this annoying Steeler fan.
  6. If not, I can recommend one.
  7. I think he's buying them for others. If he's buying them now, he already has season tickets.
  8. I guess the Panda went to the office directly to get the tickets?
  9. Yeah. The opening battle scene should be pretty nice. I'm also curious to see the scene in Palpatine's office w/ the Jedi.
  10. Well, you know what they say about Donahoe, don't you?
  11. There's a Rita's not far from where I live, about a 20 minute walk. They have some good Italian ice and their selection of gelati is nice, but they don't sell the egg custard, which is my favorite. My wife loves some of the other flavors they sell, so when we go there, I just get a lemon Italian ice usually.
  12. Don't worry, FFS. The further we get from the draft, the less likely we are to hear about size and speed issues. Then, like you mentioned, it becomes more about if a player can actually play, as it should be.
  13. I'm expecting this one to be a marked improvement on the past two. I read the book for Episode III and was impressed w/ it, especially the Palpatine character. I am really looking forward to seeing how well it transfers to the screen.
  14. Corey's 3-4 was more read and react as opposed to the more attacking styles you see nowadays from the Steelers, Texans, and the hybrid the Pats run. It drove me nuts too, Mark.
  15. Congrats to the Patriots for their NFL May championship.
  16. I'll be there, sans Star Wars character costume.
  17. I think you're right, Bill. I know I wouldn't want to just put Sam in as a NT in a 3-4 and expect him to dominate.
  18. Fletch could play in a 3-4 scheme. His compact size and quickenss work in his favor when shedding the blocks of interior OL. Now, would I like his chances in coverage as a middle 'backer in a 3-4? No.
  19. Honestly, I think Schobel could do well in a 3-4. He wouldn't have a seamless transition, but I do think he could do it. When Schobel decides not to just rely on his speed around the corner and fine tunes his entire game, he'll be a guy who can thrive in either the 4-3 or the 3-4. As for the rest of them? Posey is, of course, better suited for the 3-4. Spikes plays like a 3-4 LB now. The difficulty would be finding someone to put inside w/ Fletch. You'd have to have someone who can help in coverage as well as stuff the run. Sam Adams might have the most trouble adjusting, as he'd be forced to take on more double teaming and would wear down even more, which has been his biggest problem the past couple seasons.
  20. Guinness? Ugh. What do you call that float, the Jiffy Lube special?
  21. Sigh. Not this again!
  22. I like the 3-4 defense. Always did. I remember when the Bills ran it for many years before it was fashionable to do so. I also played in a 3-4 scheme in college. It's a lot of fun.
