  1. Not really. I can play fairly decent, but that's it. I am a pretty good bass player and I've played piano for about 31 years. I used to also play saxophone in my middle school/high school band, but I sold my sax (what a dumba**) back in '86.
  2. I really like Cantrell's Boggy Depot CD. I listen to that almost every time I have to make a long car trip.
  3. Yep. The NFC is real lucky that last year's Browns weren't in their conference. They would've dominated everyone..........except Phili, that is.
  4. I can tolerate Rome in bits and pieces. He does have that annoying tendency to make those long pauses and to repeat himself often, but some of his 'takes' are very amusing. Two of my all time favorites were the ones about Mills Lane and the one about Allen Iverson's mom.
  5. Sure did, and Miami absolutely embarrassed the Patriots on a Monday night late in the season. So, how is it that the Pats are rated so much higher than Miami?
  6. I don't even see what songwriting has to do w/ a person's ability to play the guitar well. Isn't this list supposed to be about guitar players, not singer/songwriters?
  7. "Well, listen here, my kraut, mick friend..."
  8. My guess is that he's saying how screwed up it is that they'd list Cobain as a guitarist ahead of Garcia. I don't think he's making fun of him.
  9. You shouldn't hate.
  10. You like 'em. You know you do.
  11. Maybe because a bunch of drunken frat boys were NOT the judges this time.
  12. I'm leaving here very early on the Friday before the opener so that I'll be able to join you guys.
  13. As usual. Well, as of the past 2 years, that is.
  14. A track man, eh? I knew there was a reason I liked him. He sounds like a pretty cool guy.
  15. I was born and raised in Erie Pa, so I've never had to deal w/ the Buffalo economy like the residents there have. Even still, if I could, I'd move to Buffalo today just to be close to my family in Erie and to be able to attend Bills games without having to spend hundreds of dollars in travel expenses. If only Psycho Ward 86 would consider it...
  16. It takes me anywhere between 6 and 7 hours to get to the Buffalo area when I make the trip up for games. I try to go to 2 or 3 a year. This is my 2nd year as a season ticket holder. I think there's a lot of fans who make the trip from out of town. There's one who posts at BZ and now posts over here as well who lives in NC and he and his wife attend nearly EVERY home game, including preseason. Now, that's a hardcore Bills fan!
  17. If only he could guard Wade...
  18. Aww, c'mon, JSP! You gotta be there! The Psycho and I are driving up Friday morning and leaving Monday morning/afternoon. I'm only taking 2 days off this year for the trip because I'm not going to Erie afterward, since I'm saving the balance of my vacation time for our trip to New Orleans.
  19. I'm no big fan of Todd Steussie @ this point in his career, but I'm a bigger fan of his than I am of Kyle Turley. I hope we steer clear of Turley.
  20. You gonna join us this year @ Duff's on Friday night? We missed ya there last year, and you missed my attempt to hurdle the fence outside Duff's after 2.5 pitchers of beer and some shots of tequilla (thanks a lot, KTFABD!).
  21. You could probably say Prince for a number of instruments. The guy not only can play a bunch of different instruments (over 20 different ones), but can play most of them as well as anyone, including guitar, piano, bass, and drums. I guess that''s the reason the major labels were in a bidding war to sign him when he was just 17 years old. Purple Rain is a very good album, though I still prefer his early works, especially Dirty Mind.
