What's really interesting is to see what happens @ LB. I honestly believe they're going to keep Ray Lewis, but he ain't too happy. Bart Scott, who played well while Lewis was out injured last season, wants to be a starter. W/ Anderson being signed and Jamal being re-signed, that may take them out of the running for LenDale White. I could see them going after a LB in the draft.

Not everyone is happy. Then again, it's not possible here. There's always going to be some reason for someone to complain. I'd be willing to bet someone here would do some whining even if the Bills won the Super Bowl. The first step is to accept the fact that you cannot change this.

Yeah, me too. I sure hope he somehow ends up in Buffalo. Man, would that be a great move! I watched the Senior Bowl also, and he was very impressive. In drills, he showed his strength in taking on the big guys and in the game itself, he was impressive also (as opposed to those who kicked a** in practices but flopped in the game like Jay Cutler and Brodrick Bunkley).

Mangold will be there in the 2nd. While he improved his draft standing, I still don't see him being drafted in the first round. Lutui may or may not go in the 2nd. I don't see it as a given that he's gone by the start of round 3. I'm not so big on Bunkley or Wroten though. If we're going to address the DL, I'd much rather see us draft Tamba Hali and then Babatunde Oshinowo (instead of Wroten).

I could live w/ that. BTW, I like your first 3 picks (in your sig). I'd be very happy if we started our draft that way.

I applaud your passion for the Bills and your desire to see a winning team in Buffalo (don't we all?), but you're going about it in the wrong way. Say what you will about the standpoint of another poster, but leave the personal attacks out of it. It does nothing to let that person see your point of view. All it does is show that you obviously have a "see it my way or no way" attitude about the topic being discussed. It gets hard to do sometimes in the face of repetitive posts that seem to add nothing to a discussion, but do your best to live and let live in the process of stating your opinion.

True. If the Bills sign Kemoeatu and Pickett @ DT, plus add one or two guys on the OL (don't know if it'll be Mawae, but he'd be a huge upgrade), I'd be just fine w/ seeing Huff drafted @ #8. If not, they've got some 'splainin to do.

I have mixed feelings about Bunkley. On one hand, he tore it up the week of Senior Bowl practices, looking like a man among boys. On the other hand, during the actual Senior Bowl game, he didn't impress me. There was one screen play that he looked good defending on (did a great job of getting out to the RB), but very little else. The OL had their way w/ him. That's not good for someone w/ the rep of being a very strong player. I'm sure that's probably one reason he's gone up to 306 recently, in the hopes he doesn't get engulfed by bigger, more powerful NFL linemen.

Well, considering how I've harped on the OL here for years, I concur w/ that statement. However, if we are fortunate enough to come out of FA w/ Kemoeatu and Pickett @ tackle, and if I kept the 8th pick in the draft, there's no way I'd bring in another DT, especially @ a high salary. So, I'd look elsewhere w/ the pick. OL? Well, you could go tackle, but what OT would I take w/ the 8th pick? There's only one, and he's probably not going to be available w/ that pick (Ferguson). A trade down? Maybe someone like Eric Winston, Jeremy Trueblood, or Jonathan Scott would be a consideration, but it would depend on where we're trading to. If we're dropping down a few spots, I sure as heck would hope we're not passing on Hali for any of those OTs.

Going by your post, Michael Huff would be a good pick then. Not only can the guy cover, but he's a lights out hitter who loves the physical play. He's also a terrific blitzer. Considering the strong possibility of Mario Williams and D'Brickashaw Ferguson being gone by our pick, he'd be my choice if I were GM and I kept the 8th pick instead of trading up (for Williams or Ferguson) or down (for Tamba Hali, Manny Lawson, or someone else).

Pickett or Ma'ake Kemoeatu would be my top 2, if I were going after a free agent DT. Both are good for what they do and neither would break the bank.
