  1. DRAFT INFORMATION!! Type: Online. What else? Date: Monday, August 28th, 2006 Time: 7:00pm EST Please try to be online 30 minutes prior to the start of the draft. If there's any questions, PM me or post a message on the league's message board on Fanball.
  2. Was he drafted around the 6th round? I hope not, as nothing good ever comes out of that round, particularly @ the QB position.
  3. Good question. I barely remember anything about him.
  4. It is nice, isn't it? I remember seeing Destiny's Child @ a premiere party thrown by their record label almost a decade ago (my wife was a manager @ a music store then, and the label's sales rep gave her tickets to it). It was interesting, to say the least. Destiny's Child wasn't even the best act they showed that night. They also had Jagged Edge, some woman named Simone Hines, a guy called Uncle Sam, and the best act, this 13 year old girl named Kimberly Scott. She had a very mature voice for a 13 year old, and was very impressive. I believe she's made a name for herself on Broadway. Anyway, the Beyonce I saw that night looks a lot different from the one who has become a superstar. She was still nice looking, but it looks like she's had a lot of work done since that premiere party. Hey, it's working for her though, and for her many admirers around the world.
  5. Pete, you ignorant slut.
  6. Haha!! I think we've added to the lexicon here. Uh oh.
  7. Nobody showed up? If I didn't live over 6 hours away, I'd be there more often.
  8. Thanks for the history lesson, Joseph, as I'm still relatively new to this whole Bills fan thing. You don't blame it on the fans; they just are forced to endure it. Nothing is incurable. Well, maybe indigestion...
  9. I'm sure that by "hell", you mean a few harmless comments hurled their way, as opposed to the lit cigarettes and other things I've seen some classless Bills fans do to opposing team's fans, right?
  10. No, it doesn't, but....
  11. Alright, we'll give 'em Gates for D'Brickashaw Ferguson.
  12. I won't be there, but I'll be loud anyway. Maybe the person who has my tickets for that game will be loud. I know the people in my section (if they show up) will be.
  13. Awesome news, Johnathan. I did play on the freshman team, then got to play some JV after that (our freshman season was only about 6 or 7 games). Then, I got called up to the varsity team, but only to ride the pine as a frosh (started the last 3 years). I know it isn't easy to go right to the varsity, and I applaud your son for being able to do it. I hope he's the one w/ the offers soon.
  14. To be fair now, the Pats' TEs are pretty good and underutilized. Now, the WRs are overrated. Patten? Where is he now? Givens? Decent. Branch? Good, but not in the tier of guys like Harrison, Owens, Moss, and Fitzgerald.
  15. The same Adidas that now owns Reebok????
  16. ...or Calvin Johnson.
  17. I haven't seen anything out of these guys yet for THIS SEASON. We stunk up the joint last year, and the year before (yeah, we were 9-7, but got smacked back to reality by the 3rd team of the Stillers), and the year before, etc. That's over w/. This is a new year under a new coach in a new system. If they turn out to suck, then I'm sure everyone here will have @ 'em. What annoys me is the "guilty until proven innocent" attitude many here seem to have. That, to me, is the difference between being a realist about the Bills and being a disciple of the Randy Quaid character from Major League.
  18. Atlanta "shipped' Favre off to Green Bay.
  19. Oops! Back to our regularly scheduled program of: Losman Sucks Holcomb Sucks Levy Sucks Jauron Sucks Ralph Sucks The Bills Suck Whitner Was A Reach, Volumes I-VIII McCargo Was A Reach, Volumes I-IV Who's Your Favorite Bills Player? Take your pick.
  20. It's not homerism to say that Jerry Rice sucks as an broadcast announcer. If you have Sirius, give him a listen and you'll see.
  21. I'd hope beyond hope-again-that the Bills would consider addressing their lines. By trading down, drafing a stud tackle like Levi Brown of Penn State, and picking up an extra pick or more, they could begin to do just that. Then again, I've been saying something similar to that for years and it never gets done. Well, there was the drafting of Mike Williams...
  22. Oh, I'd definitely put Patrick Ramsey on that list. It's not like Washington drafted a QB in the first round after taking Ramsey, or sign a veteran free agent to put over him, either.
  23. C'mon Randy, let's hear some of your first rate heckling: "He wants the righty! The Vile thing!"
  24. Yeah. He was the young version of Pete Clemenza in The Godfather, Part II.
