  1. Does the pts for cooley depend on where he is lined up? Or does he get the same points regardless? Im thinking about picking him up and starting him as a RB, but he only seems to get receptions. Im not sure if I'll get pts for him. Any ideas? Thanks
  2. To be honest, I was very active in following fantasy football until the last month when more important stuff came up. Here's the question-- what sleepers are out there??
  3. Last year I found a site, where I could put in the number of teams, the point structure of the league, and an excel program spit out the top 100-200 players overall. Was wondering if anyone has a link or could email me a similar program. Thanks, Paul
  4. nfl.com offers a package where you can get all the nfl games online (radio). last year was the first time they charged for it (I think if was about 45 dollars), the year before it was free (dont expect this again)
  5. Agreed. Totonno's is the best-- but if hanging around the City, Grimaldi's is possible, Totonno's is a bit away- and you should really know where you are if looking for Totonnos.
  6. Best Pizza (patsy Grimaldi's) just over the brooklyn bridge (yes in Brooklyn) some of the best views of the city from the promenade. Mexican- try Ariba, Ariba @ 50th and 9th or 10th Ave. fun attosmphere (club type music- low lights) and good food.
  7. It depends on you. If you can do the work and really want to do it and can then a fixer upper can be good. I had a house did substantial improvements, throughout the house- thing is before I had a house - watched this old house, had handy relatives and thought I could do. Learned quickly I could not do the work- had to rely heavily on family- and also put a strain on my marriage. If I had to do it again, I would buy new. Best advice I got and did not follow- buy a house you love. As an aside, leave LI, NJ is cheaper and newer.
  8. Such a good marketing slogan gone wrong, thought I'd give it a second chance
  9. Both complaints have a degree of truth to them- the most important thing by this tread is to remember the country is extremely divided over the war- and no one wants any more heros (let the boys be safe). Would I hope Iraq could be a democracy- of course so. Would I encourage the idea and desert my wife and daughter over it- of course not- especially since we dont know what the outcome will be. It is a volunteer army right now- although I fully support volunteers that would choose not to go and fulfill any so-called obligation. Getting a loan, some college money, or even 100k a year doesnt obligate you to put yourself at risk for something you dont believe 100% in- or even 52%. Remember governments can be wrong (aka Germany during WW2, US during Vietnam, Iraq leading to the first war). There is no infallible government, just like there is no infallible church. By the way the US is the greatest country ever- and would probably die for its benefit (although I hope this day would never come), but Iraq is not the US.
  10. I do appreciate the feedback from the original question- which mostly pertained to which foods will keep you healthy and avoiding colds etc. My issue is not weight. With some of the feedback, I think I am looking to increasing my vegatables and fruits, and yogurt intakes.
  11. the movie was much more gay than the cartoon. but not too much that it would make anyone homophobic. it was gay in the sense that the bible belt would hate it but everyone else could enjoy its flaming gayness.
  12. I thought the BBC cartoon version was much better.
  13. For the last two years I have been a pillar of health- I had given all the credit to the two glasses of Red Wine I would have. For the last week and a couple of days I've been under the weather. I think its because I have been trying to eat healthy (you know not too much with the Cholesterol foods (ie Milk, cheese, meat etc)- that coupled with the fact I was working out a lot left it possible to get sick (that and it is winter). So this is my new plan 1) red wine 2) red meat and greens (I think Iron is key) 3) exercise when the energy is back What does the board recommend and practice??
  14. Ditto on the embassy. When I lived in London. They were very helpful, even for social things - I think you can get in touch with someone from cultural affairs (I actually tried this to get to watch the Jets-Bills on the military satelite (didnt work, but they did ask the milatary there if it was possible).
  15. I was hoping for a pot roast recipe and a good sauce- perferably horseradish. What happened to the cookbook?

    RB's

My RBs are Tiki, Rudi and Onterio. They may have some of the best first names in the game. Any way Tiki has a tough game away at Washington- but he has been consistent all year. Rudi has a tough game at Baltimore (but did have 202 and 2 TD's last week)- and is the undisputed number one there for now. Onterio is going vs Chicago(whos run defense is bit softer without Urlacher-- but he may give up goaline touches to Moe Williams). Point system is as follows-- 1 pt for 20 yards rushing/receiving. 6 pts per touchdown. Thanks, Paul
