  1. --ie Yankees, Nortre Dame, Cowboys, NE. However I just came across a guy who is not an AFC East fan, went to school at Geneseo and roots against the Bills. Thought this was very strange. Has anyone ever come across an Anti-Bill fan?
  2. I look forward to the guide each year as well. Great job-- much appreciated.
  3. I havent read his article yet-- but he is normally very funny. I like his stuff (and no-- I am not Tony B).
  4. I went last year-- and stayed in Miami Beach--big chain (could've been Starwood). If staying downtown or on the beach-- take a cab-- parking is pretty expensive and non-existent-- plus if plan on drinking you wont have any problem (ie Roscoe style). If I were to do it again-- I would probably go to Fort Lauderdale-- I would defiantely get a car-- I like there beach area a bit more.
  5. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RpWNz7WsauQ my favorite-- without women-- but a classic from childhood-- downright hillarious
  6. I need a RB, have Steven Jackson (stud), Willis (hurt), Domnic Rhodes (splitting way too much), Brandon Jacobs (does get TDs) I am deep at WR: Roy Williams- stud Donald Driver Lee Evans-- been very good after weeks 1 and 2 Braylon Edwards -- I normally bench Eric Parker-- have not played Mine is a touchdown heavy league. I am thinking of sitting with Brandon Jacobs in place of Willis, but have been offered the A-Train (who did look pretty good). The deal is this. I give up Evans and get A-train and Jericho Crochery.\ Do you do it??
  7. Shayne Graham is on bye. I picked up J.Carney (New Orleans) for the week. I am only carrying 4 WR's (need to start 3, and definately will need to pick one up next week due to bye's) Got: Driver (gametime decision) Roy Williams-- will start B.Edwards-- will start L.Evans-- I dont want to start vs Chicago Thinking about droppin Graham to pick up Travis Taylor (plays Detroit) this week. Or do I hold Graham and drop Carney after this week and get a WR next week. Thoughts and help appreciated.
  8. having lived in london- I definately would have paid for this. got to remember the dollar is weak most places -- this is an absolute bargain and to have that choice is incredible.
  9. I sometimes think about the career games or paydays the Bills have created (or given up). Please share othter top performances that truly put players on the map. Here's 3 1) Sept 2002- opening day vs the Jets. Chad Morton returns 2 kickoff returns (one in the first seconds of overtime). Next year- gets 8M from the Redskins. 2) January 2000- playoffs vs Tennessee- Rookie Jevon Kearse was unstoppable, collecting two sacks, forcing a fumble and registering the game's first points on a safety. 3) December 2003- Billy Volek downs the Bills with 295 yards passing, 2 throwing TDs and a rushing for another TD
  10. I agree this is the post to follow, you already got two-- Brunell and I forget your number one. Definately go RB or WR. Drop Carr & forget about McNair
  11. Carr may be worth keeping with the talent they got. Also, think McNair will be solid in Baltimore (ie with Heap and his reuniting with Mason). Probably be more inclined with McNair over Carr , and if McNair can stay healthy (big if though)

  13. For my honeymoon we went to the Fiesta Americana Condessa (it was 9 years ago, but a great place- no crazy teenagers). Very good concierge would steer me to good restaurants. Also, dont waste your time with Isla Majares (you can take a ferry their for some snorkling and a turtle farm). Its quite poor, the waves make snorkling very rough, and I dont remember if I actually went in the turtle farm. http://cancun-hotels.tripadvisor.com/Hotel..._Peninsula.html
  14. they have drive-in theatres up there. your kids might like that.
  15. Can anyone recommend some good sites for stocks/investments? I guess something similar to TBD, but without all the peronal bashing.
  16. Im watching this with 2 Jet fans & they honestly feel bad for me. Its not enough to lose most Sundays, on one day of the year- DRAFT DAY- you should feel like a winner-- guess not today.
  17. America's Test Kitchen has a good book (kitchen family cookbook). The TV show is my favorite cooking show. http://www.cooksillustrated.com/bookstore.asp
  18. Chevy Chase: Last week we made the comment that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Now here to reply is our chief meteorologist, John Belushi, with a seasonal report. John Belushi: Thank you Chevy. Well, another winter is almost over and March true to form has come in like a lion, and hopefully will go out like a lamb. At least that's how March works here in the United States. But did you know that March behaves differently in other countries? In Norway, for example, March comes in like a polar bear and goes out like a walrus. Or, take the case of Honduras where March comes in like a lamb and goes out like a salt marsh harvest mouse. Let's compare this to the Maldive Islands where March comes in like a wildebeest and goes out like an ant. A tiny, little ant about this big. [holds thumb and index fingers a small distance apart] Unlike the Malay Peninsula where March comes in like a worm-eating fernbird and goes out like a worm-eating fernbird. In fact, their whole year is like a worm-eating fernbird. Or consider the Republic of South Africa where March comes in like a lion and goes out like a different lion. Like one has a mane, and one doesn't have a mane. Or in certain parts of South America where March swims in like a sea otter, and then it slithers out like a giant anaconda. There you can buy land real cheap, you know. And there's a country where March hops in like a kangaroo, and stays a kangaroo for a while, and then it becomes a slightly smaller kangaroo. Then, then, then for a couple of days it's sort of a cross between a, a frilled lizard and a common house cat. [Chevy Chase tries to interrupt him] Wait wait wait wait. Then it changes back into a smaller kangaroo, and then it goes out like a, like a wild dingo. Now, now, and it's not Australia! Now, now, you'd think it would be Australia, but it's not! [Chevy Chase tries to interrupt him] Now look, pal! I know a country where March comes in like an emu and goes out like a tapir. And they don't even know what it means! All right? Now listen, there are nine different countries, where March comes in like a frog, and goes out like a golden retriever. But that- that's not the weird part! No, no, the weird part is, is the frog. The frog- The weird part is- [has seizure and falls off chair]
  19. I think Jauron is a good choice. Like the competition for QB. Think the right decision was made in MW being let go. Have confidence in the draft. What bother me is, all confidence Levy and Wilson said they had in Mularchy---yet many players have said that the coaches and players were not on the same page (ie Spikes, Clements, and then the obvious with Moulds and Adams). I hope that Levy was bluffing and they made things so difficult that it pushed Mularchy to re-sign. If Levy and Wilson were not bluffing then we should question there choice's of character. The truth is that we will never really know- until Levy writes another book. Comments??
  20. Is this a sign for a reconciliation between the two countries? At the Opening Ceremonies last night, you have to admit the US Olympians looked pretty silly in those gaudy hats-- (which you can purchase at Target to help support them). But if this helps mend a rift between nations, why not?
  21. Go to the Sports Cafe in Piccidily Circus on Haymarket Sq or Street to watch the games. If its too crowded, try Cheers.
  22. I played him. Thought you might want to know its based on total stats, it doesnt matter where he is lined up.
