  1. and vice versa I will legit angry and disappointed if the Bills do get him on draft day. As I've seen countless former Heisman trophy QBs enter the league and countless of them bust, add to it he's undersized and playing from a spread offense in college screams not NFL QB. Give me Rosen, Darnold or Rudolph (at pick 22) or don't draft a QB in Round 1.
  2. Because your point about bad QBs didn't seem to be understanding what was getting at with short QBs drafted in Round 1.
  3. My point is college success is no guarantee at pro success and that shorter QBs have less issues in college than in the pros.
  4. K what about Johnny Manziel or Kellen Moore or Ty Detmer who all had great numbers in college? I'm not a fan of Baker and not afraid to admit it.
  5. How deep we know? As I can tell you of two QB in the 6 foot range that were taken in the 1st Round and struggled in the NFL in Case McCown and Rex Grossman. I can also tell you about Doug Flutie and Tyrod Taylor struggles after their first years here. To me I trade up to 2 for Rosen or Darnold. It won't kill our draft I'd done right. Or if it does, so what we have $90 something in cap room next year so we can fill holes in free agency next year if needed. I'm also not opposed to staying at 12 for Raquon Smith and 22 for Mason Rudolph.
  6. No, he's a locker room headache and think his best years are behind him. Give me Maclin.
  7. I suspect 2 (Darnold and Rosen) maybe 3 (Allen) go before the Bills pick at 12. Maysfield has a chance but think his short stature will scare teams off, I'd pass on him to and hopefully land a LB like Roquan Smith and get Mason Rudolph at 22.
  8. Then he'd fit right in with Peterman and McCarron as both are very open with their relationships with God.
  9. Here's a list of WR salaries, https://overthecap.com/position/wide-receiver/ I put Benjamin in the Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant, Allen Robinson range but no lower than Keenan Allen, All of them #1s but very good but just not elite.
  10. Should the Bills not rank Barkley because we have Shady?
  11. Bring Johnson back for slot duty, sign these Gaines kid from KC for outside depth and draft a kid in the 3rd or 4th Round and we're close to what we had last year.
  12. I could see it being the Raiders board too as they need DB and LB help.
  13. Not there at the same time but Darnold and Hue share a USC connection.
  14. When Kendall Fuller lined up in the slot, he allowed a passer rating of 55.0. That was the best for all slot cornerbacks last year. Steven Nelson and Phillip Gaines both allowed passer ratings above 100 when in the slot. https://twitter.com/PFF_NateJahnke/status/958550948137390081 Replytwe Li
  15. They probably asked him to take a pay cut to help them add a LB or two and he declined so they cut him.
  16. LB is even worse unless we're hoping to start Lorax and Humber again Leonard Johnson still hasn't signed anywhere, we could bring him back and draft someone with one of our 5ths and be good to go.
  17. Edmunds is younger, more athletic etc so he has more upside and likely while he'll be picked ahead if Smith, yet I'd be happy with either one. For more in depth analysis check out https://www.fanragsports.com/nfl-draft/nfl-draft-tale-of-tape-roquan-smith-vs-tremaine-edmunds/
  18. Because he was the top QB recruit coming out of high school, has NFL size, has shown he knows how to set his feet (a very important part of QB play) and arm is good enough. He has a chance to be the next Matt Ryan.
  19. The only way he falls is if Giants pass on him and not sure they would as taking a QB with Eli starting makes little sense if looking to improve in 2018.
  20. Barkley's been compared to Thomlinson passing on a talent that tough not to mention they can still get a QB at 4. I've mentioned it before but look at what Dorsey did in KC, he drafted a QB with a cannon of an arm and legs. I think they go Barkley #1 and Josh Allen #4.
  21. Yep cuz most fans like to think that shorter guys like Mayfield could be next Brees or Wilson but forget about guys like Cade McNown, Rex Grossman had struggles. As everyone loves the little engine that could but more often in the NFL it's can not. Ryan fell all the way to 3. I'd love to get Rosen but not sure the Giants looking to move down unless Barkley goes 1st overall.
