  1. I thought Kevon Seymour was a pretty good player. But then we traded for another Clay, this one who has been in the league for 3 years and has not caught a single pass. Zero. No yards. His career highlight is dropping a ball a couple yards short of a touchdown. Great trade. Today we cut Jonathan Williams, a guy who I though was looking great. The first game against Minnesota, he had a few excellent runs, and the one the other night against Detroit was an excellent run. But no, let's cut him and make room for a Tight End from Detroit, who has a sum total of 1 catch for 7 yards in 3 years. What the hell. So now we have 4 tight ends. The OT from New England might be a good one, because for one thing we need tackles. The other thing is, the coaches can pick his brain about how New England runs its team. I hate to be negative, because I'm pretty excited (as usual) for this season. But what the hell are they doing? Is Beane so in love with Carolina that he had to give up a promising young DB for a guy who has yet to catch a ball in the regular season? We know he can return kicks, but can he cross the goal line with the ball? I don't think either of these guys will be totally happy till they get rid of every pick made by Whaley.
  2. Go here to see why they took Jones. His stats leap off the page. I can see why you'd want to dump your backup RB for this: http://www.nfl.com/player/kharilee/2553552/profile He caught a pass for 7 yards in 2015. Which is exactly one more pass than that Clay guy we traded for yesterday. Only Clay is on his 5th team, and has yet to catch a regular season pass. Super Bowl!!
  3. It's called "Unnecessary roughness." The ref determined he didn't need to pile drive our qb onto his throwing shoulder. I agree with the call.
  4. Was that mayor John Lindsay on the fumble recovery?
  5. What kind of turnover? I prefer apple.
  6. They are both decent players who should make the team. If they aren't hurt too badly.
  7. My feed just froze in the middle of the play. It was 2nd and 7. What's happened since? Thanks in advance.
  8. I'm on gamepass, and I have Detroit. That is weird.
  9. Why is it that I always have to listen to the opponent's bs broadcast?
  10. 15 yard penalty? what did he do? shoot the guy?
  11. Rodak is an idiot and should be exiled to cover Canadian football. This team is going to be tough to play. I believe in them. We lost Sammy, so what? We got a #2 pick and a DB to replace Darby, who had a rough year last year. We lost Darby and got a #3 pick and a very good wide receiver. I don't like losing Ragland, but he missed all of last year, so what's the big deal? He didn't fit our scheme, and if there was a better trade to be made, I'm sure they would have made it. Shady is healthy. The OL will be steady by game 1. Zay. Matthews. Clay. others. Good targets. Defense is improved just by losing the fat boy twins. They nearly ruined a good thing. Giggly Dareus needs to man up and play football. His act is not amusing. The overpaid lard ass can actually play great football. The pass rush will be terrific. I can't believe anybody thinks this team will only win 3-5 games. That's borderline short bus thinking.
  12. Brothers and sisters, we aren't signing this guy to win the Super Bowl. We're signing him to get us through preseason game #4. Give Tyrod a Tylenol, he'll be ready for the opener. Peterman is a solid backup. I think TJ Yates needs to go, though.
  13. The Bills site says it's a conditional pick. I wonder if he becomes an all-Pro that it becomes a 3rd or 2nd rounder. The guy was a huge talent coming out of Alabama. That talent will not go away. It just needs to be in the right position.
  14. I bet he becomes a star in Kansas City.
  15. The calls of illegal formation were b.s. You can scroll through the clips in the original post and see that they use the same formation in several calls. The first time it was called negated a first down, and the Baltimore announcer speculated that the call may have been offsides because the defense was lined up in the neutral zone. Here's a picture of one of the formation on the first call. If you can tell me which lineman is in an illegal stance let me know. Both tackles are at exactly the same distance from the guard next to them. The Baltimore announcers initially thought they were going to be hit with lining up in the neutral zone, as you can see the nose tackle's head is across the line of scrimmage. My point is, I think those were totally bogus calls an unnecessary. They cost the team momentum, first downs, and opportunity. While we're at it, there was an earlier call of illegal motion on #62 right after Clay pulled up short on a reception at the Baltimore 40, leaving us with 3rd and 1. They called #62 for motion. I replayed that 6 times, and he didn't move. That was a phantom call that cost us opportunity. These refs are overofficious jerks.
  16. This is by and large the most negative group of fans I've encountered since joining. Stop. It's preseason. Who gives a crap how they looked today? I think this is the best defense we've had in a long time, and I believe our offense will be fine come opening day. I appreciate how much everybody seems to care about this team, but complaining about how great Sammy Watkins was going to be (he's just tearing it up in LA) and Schwartz's defense....serves no purpose. It's like looking at an old yearbook and talking about how much better life would be had you ended up with a different spouse. We're married to the Bills, and we're committed for good and bad, mostly bad, but it's a lifelong sentence. It's 7 a.m. in St. Louis, and the sun is out. My kid has a baseball game at 10:45, and I hope he has a big game. It's his birthday too. Life is good.
  17. The Bills are going to be fine. Why am I still watching this game?
  18. Billy Bathgate might not have called such an idiotic play. 3 yard pass over the middle, fumble. end of game.
  19. Boy that was a big hit by 96. Roughing. Almost knocked him off stride for a second.
  20. The announcers just said the Ravens are dominating offensively....they have 175 yards and we have 150. They are 5-14 on 3rd down, we are 4-14. Hardly dominant. Yates is playing like he just made 3rd string for Trott Vocational.
  21. Wondering what Yates was looking at when he threw that last pass.
