  1. The guy is a tool. I now live in MA (originally from Elmira) and I can't get away from the guy. He is always on TV ads selling something or other. I do not watch ESPN because he is on it. My wife bought my 9 year old a discounted replica Bruschi jersey and I made her return it. I would get him a Bills jersey but that would not go over to well in his school unfortunately. Although he does have a couple of Bills hats. I am hoping if this year's schedule works out, he and I can take a road trip to see the Bills at the Ralph. Sorry - I got off topic a little.
  2. Brady will play. I'm hoping that somehow, Jasper lines up as a nose tackle and Brady pees his pants.
  3. My favorite line comes 30 seconds into the video. He has the guys around him and he says "Let's do this for the fans". He gets it!
  4. Agreed. I'm hoping that Merriman can come back healthy and if nothing else, can mentor a high round draft pick next year. If Merriman can STAY healthy for a whole year and be a viable pass rush threat, the Bills could have a monster D.
  5. I'm also talking about his leadership qualities as well. I've mentioned on here before that there needs to be someone on the sidelines motivating these guys. I think Dareus could be that guy.

  7. I've always thought that a QB is only as good as his WRs and vice versa. If a receiver does not have the speed to get open or the hands to catch those non-perfectly thrown balls, it does not matter how good your QB is. On the other hand, if the WR has all those traits and the QB still can't get them the ball, it does not matter how good your WR is. The same could be said for the RB and the offensive line relationship. I guess my point is, the offense needs ALL of these things to be successful. The Bills are not there yet. GOOD draft picks and GOOD free agents pickups help get you there. The thing that brings all this together is GOOD coaching. I think we have the QB (Fitz), I thinks we have the RBs (Fred and CJ). The Bills just need a healthy cohesive offensive line (for a whole year) and a few more good receivers and they may have something. I am still iffy on the coaching but I am not ready to throw Chan to the wolves yet. I just read this back to myself and it sounds too simplistic but I still think its true. I guess its just tough to win in the NFL.
  8. The answer is 4380 days and I'll bet Rome actually looked alot better on the that 4380th day than they did on day 1. The Bills - not so much.
  9. That's what I figured. No emotion...No heart...unless they are winning. This team needs a leader and they need one now. I don't care who it is but they need someone to march up and down that sideline and get in their face. Obviously it ain't going to be Fitz. Don't get me wrong, I like him but he does not have that killer instinct this team is desparate for. Where's Talley when you need him??
  10. Granted, I can not get to the games like I used to and have not seen the last few on TV due to unforseen circumstances. So I have a question for anyone who does go and watch on a regular basis. During these games when the Bills are behind, is there ANYONE of the players on the sideline trying to fire these guys up? Whenever I see a shot of the sidelines when they are behind, everyone just looks like they are in a fog. They are looking around and show no emotion. I remember the "good ol' days" in the early 90s when guys would march up and down the bench yelling and showing some emotion out there. I don't remember seeing any of that since (maybe Flutie to a point).
  11. The Pats win got the Bills respect and credibility for one week (then came Cincy). Playoffs would get the Bills respect and credibility for a lot longer than that. Even if they get bounced in the first round. I live in New England now and that win was fantastic but I knew not to gloat. I said I would wait until December before I could feel justified in doing that.
  12. I think they are curled up in the fetal position in their respective lockers at OBD. Each of them repeating the question..."I get paid for this??".
  13. is a true LEADER in the locker room. I think they have the talent (although we could use some depth). I just don't see anyone stepping up and taking this team by their collective balls and saying "MAN UP". This team needs to get mad. This team needs to get mean. I'll take the days of the Bickering Bills all over again. Guys were mad and were not afraid to show it or say it.
  14. I'm hoping that Chan has not shown all his defensive cards yet. We've played two teams that rely on the run alot. The Pat's, so far, seem to be relying on the pass. So I'm thinking we're going to see a lot more of a pass rush this week.
  15. If Dareus puts one of those 2 ton hits on Brady, all the Pats fans that Tommy told to start drinking early will puke their guts out.
  16. He and Stevie are definitely my favorite players on this team. Always talking up Buffalo and the Bills.
  17. I'll be at the upper bar. The Harp is the best!! Can't wait for Sunday...and the next Sunday...and the next...
