Actually the OP has a good point and it isn't the obvious "refs cost us the game" Bills fan whine. The OP is correct in stating that the Bills are completely disrespected by the officials week in week out a nd yet our coaches and GM and owner say nothing. <Even more whining>

You are beginning to sound like a bunch of whiny b**chy Auburn fans. You do not want to become that.

Auburn fans cry and complain about the officiating.

A lot. And I mean a lot. Constantly.

Even their radio announcers whine about the officiating during the game broadcast.

Tip: Never go full Auburn. They are a miserable irrational bunch.

    Explain.

Syracuse could've put themselves in a position to overcome a bad call / spot but they clearly stopped the Pitt runner short on 4th down which would've came close to sealing the win for them.

He was a whole half yard. One of the worst spots I'ever ever seen. Syracuse got forked by the zebras.

Even as you point out, Syracuse could have overcome the bad spot, but they did not.

Besides, Cuse threw the pick in OT, not the officials.

    Syracuse got screwed against Pitt.

Pitt had 4th-and-3 with 2:34 left trailing 37-34. They ran it and the runner was a half yard short but the ref gave him a ridiculous spot to give Pitt the first down. They then got in field goal range to send it to OT. Pitt then won it OT.

    Syracuse screwed themselves.

Looking for Auburn's missing O Line

In related news: as of game 5, back up Alabama QB Jalen Hurts STILL has thrown more TDs this year, than Auburn's starting QB, Jarret Stidham.

Called the number in the video. It actually works, and goes to a voicemail requesting the caller to leave any information regarding Auburns missing OLine.

Does losing a quarter 14-0 to La friggin Lafayette hurt their chances?

If it makes you feel better, after last weeks win over aTm, Saban was begging the media to write something negative about the team.

    And the response was brutal:

    https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/the-monday-after-no-1-alabama-is-actually-trash-and-the-tide-apparently-need-to-know-it/

You might enjoy that article, but I could barely finish it. It was way to depressing for me.

And now Bama was outscored in the 4th quarter 14-0? By Louisiana-Lafayette?

I had to go digitally silent. I can't take the negative onslaught that's happening.

I suspended all my accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, MySpace, Tinder, email, AIM, Twitch, You Tube, Usenet, Patreon, and IRC.

This was my safe space. Now, you have ruined that for me.

    Another great game!

Yes it was. Tua finally faced a stiffer challenge, and came away still looking good.

And he still has yet to play in the 4th quarter. He came so close this week, but not yet.

Going into the aTm game, Tua was throwing a TD pass for very 7.5 passes.

After this game, it's now 1 for 6.7 (80 pass attempts, 12 TDs).

First statement is mostly true but we do use last year as a basis for early season polls.

Like last year results, pre-season and early season polls are worthless in regards to this year.

Everything needs time to settle out.

As for the second statement- Tua is a really good qb and has shown it in all three games hee has started  but milton has played at an extremely high level for 16 of the past 17 games. Twice his defense did not show up and he had to score basically every drive last year against top 25 teams. If you have not watched there offense then please do not call one of the top 5 heisman canidates( per espn) a troll job.

Keep trolling. I find it fascinatingly amusing.

Are you trying to claim Milton is a top 5 candidate for the Heisman, per ESPN?

Per ESPN, as of 9/18/2018 (Note: Milton not even listed).

I must simply disagree and i have watched both. Bama has a ton of talent but if you watch UCF you will realize they are almost always the worst defensive game for their opponents. They scored more on Auburn last year than any other team last year and that was while playing a subpar first half.

In college, there is so much roster turnover from year to year, last year is irrelevant.

16 hours ago, Buffalo Timmy said:

And milton is better than either qb on bama.

    Troll attempt:

Effort: C+ (Going after Tua is a bold strategy Cotton, but poorly thought out.)

Execution: F (Better than Tua? Who's next on your list? Murray from OU?)

  10. Special team coordinator and punt returner talk about the play:

    https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/9/16/17864636/north-texas-fake-fair-catch-punt-return-td

Apparently, an Arkie player knew something was wrong, but just could not connect the dots...

The play nearly collapsed before it got going, because one inquisitive Arkansas player almost figured it out.

Here, we’re talking about this guy: No. 31, Grant Morgan.

    Screen_Shot_2018_09_15_at_11.44.30_PM.pn

“The guy right in front of me was actually talking to me,” Brewer says.

“Why aren’t they blowing the whistle?” Brewer heard Morgan ask him.

Morgan peeked at the video board behind Brewer. The returner silently stared ahead.

“I just sat there and waited,” he says. “It wasn’t too hard.”

SEC -  Poor Tennessee though, blasted by WVU, with their faithful fans saying they're better than last year's winless in the SEC squad. OK.

That's because a big faction of their fan base is circle jerking over Phat Phil Fulmer being a part of the football program again.

Question for all my Bama fans..

Does anyone know when the next time they come play in Buffalo? I think they did a few years ago but wasn't sure how often they face each other

    In what sport?

The Tide have never played UB in football.

UB has played Auburn and UGA, but those games took place in Auburn, AL and Athens, GA.

Bama did a home-home series with Penn State back in 2010/2011. Is that what you were thinking about?

Edit: I just did a quick check of the UB schedule back to 1999. No Bama vs UB.

    He’s unbelievable.

Jalen is graduating in December. I don’t think he lasts the season. He likely wants to preserve his 2 yrs of eligibility.

I have to agree. In the second half, Saban threw Jones out there instead of Hurts to finish the game out.

Even for Saban, that was kind of an odd move.

Hurts will play the 4 games he's allowed, and that will be it.

i've read a big number in that 128 would love to drop out because it's killing their financial and academic and safety picture.

Would not doubt it. But lure of playing in the big boy sand box is more than they can handle.

The financial perks and PR is too big of a draw, even though they keep losing money.

At least you'd like them to prove it on the field, but Saban opts for Citadel.

Saban does not opt for Citadel.  He does not want to play teams like the Citadel. But Saban is not the AD.

I realize people think Saban has full control of the program, but this an area he does not have any control over.

As I said before, from the time Saban became the HC, he has been vocal about wanting more games against the bigger traditional powers.

But if the AD, and more importantly,  the big money boosters/alumni, do not want it, it's not going to happen.

Do do you think it is fair for UCF to be falsely told they are a BCS team, have the big teams avoid/extort them, go undefeated, then not be included in a playoff?

    Answer:. It is unfair.  Period.

Now, if you're saying they aren't good enough, that's fine and you might be right.  But the NCAA should not say they are part of the BCS system, because from a practical standpoint, that is a lie.....one of many told by the NCAA.

Nobody "told" UCF they were FBS (BCS?).

They are FBS because they chose to move up, and they met the NCAA requirements.

Nobody outside the school forced them to move up to FBS.

There are 128 schools playing at the FBS level. Quite frankly, at least 50% have no business being there.

What it really means is fact set A was the justification for Bama in year one and the undoing of their rival in year 2.

What are you talking about? Alabama won the SEC conference in 2016, and was ranked #1.

In fact, Alabama had won 3 straight SEC titles prior to last year.

    53 minutes ago, 4merper4mer said:

How about Boise State or UCF?  Do you think they'd play Bama?  Citadel lol.

Boise State might not want to unless Bama is willing to cough up a minimum of $1M. That was Boise States demands a few years ago.

UCF. Cannot say for sure, as they are busy playing teams like Florida Atlantic, South Carolina State, Austin Peay, and Florida International.

i enjoy the college season, i usually watch Big Ten games as they are the most covered in my area, along with national games

used to enjoy a dozen bowl games that were competitive and meant something beyond winning a national title

now only 3 bowl games matter and usually they aren't good games

Don't worry. The people who want to expand the playoffs will fix it by including even more lower ranked teams.

If you thought 1 and 2 beating up 3 and 4 was boring, wait till you get to see the sure fire excitement of 1-8 and 2-7.

Then seeing 1 and 2 facing the onslaught by the winners of 3-6 and 4-5.
