During the Fall of the 1990 Gulf War, I was working along the Saudi Arabia Kuwait border, out in the middle of nowhere was a small store at the Port of Entry between the two countries that had cold drinks. Stopping in one day, I had a small Bills patch and I heard in somewhat accented English "Go Bills." The owner of the store, a Saudi businessman stopped in to check up on things and we both initially started laughing and talking football. He attended UB and loved the Bills, Buffalo, and Mighty Taco on Hertel avenue. One of the more interesting and bizarre Bills Fans encounters since I left Buffalo January 1980.
Close the thread. We have a winner. 👍🏻- 1

Certainly not in your case. 😉

Now, they are going to be more in line with everyone else. We all should enjoy what we pay now because in 2 short seasons it’ll be double. That’s the market rate for NFL tickets. Bills fans pay those prices already when they’re on the road taking over opponents stadiums. Whining that we are now going to pay market rate is what he objected to.
It really is a shame that you have to explain something that is so plainly obvious…but thanks.

No need to crap on the guy just for making the statement that between ridiculous PSL & Tix costs, they are being priced out. Actually very sad that many long time STH will be in the exact same predicament.
You mean the long time STH who benefited from the greatest deal in the history of professional sports for decades? Those STH?
Cry me a river, buddy.

I'm just pointing out that the guy that won the last 2 is busy training and hungry for more and our guy is not. Just an observation. But I will refrain from posting on this topic anymore as it seems to be upsetting to hear. But the point remains.
Gabe's not there anymore, I wonder who the new workout warrior will be. Interested to see the vids when they get posted!
When you post your opinion as "fact" you're going to get some eyerolls.

Fans don't want to hear it or admit it, but the truth of the matter is that it takes a tremendous amount of luck to be consistently good in the NFL. You can have the best organization in place and have a mediocre team, or a bunch of jokers in the front office and luck out with your QB.
The teams that stay consistently relevant have a combination of good luck with key draft picks and the ability to pivot and fix things that are going wrong through trades and free agency.

Bring back Lindy! Perfect coach for this team. He'd kick their asses and give some structure.

I think Josh Allen is as happy as a f*****g clam right now and excited to see what the Bills can accomplish without the Diggs drama.

The article legit says Ozzie Newsome was better than almost everyone else.
I'm not saying there aren't guys who are better or worse at it, but even Ozzie missed a lot.
The goal is to be right enough of the time at key positions...but it's still anything but scientific.

And yet, there are teams that nail it year after year at key positions.
Are there? I think if you actually do the research you'll find that the teams you think are always right are in fact wrong just as much as everyone else.

he's good, sometimes even great, when rested and until he's injured in some way
…which happens FAR too frequently for the Bills to continue giving him a shot. And let’s be honest: what big game do you look back upon and say, “wow, Jordan really made a difference and helped us win.”

No grieving here over the Juice. Had a great life, couldn’t handle it and the rest was tragic and disastrous. Yet another stark reminder of how on-field exploits don’t translate into real world character.
At least Nicole's and Ron's families know he's gone.

I've celebrated three UNC national championships right on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill...it's pretty amazing. I think March Madness and the Super Bowl are completely different events/experiences and not really comparable.
The Super Bowl is still the ultimate.

NC State is not a Cinderella team. They have won the ACC championship and made over 30 tournament appearances. Although Purdue and Bama are not traditional basketball powerhouses, they still belong to the Big 10 and SEC respectively, and have been building their programs in recent years. However, none of the games were close or entertaining.
Sorry you feel that way. I happen to disagree but to each his own.

I thought this was one of the worst tournaments as far as close games and upsets. Snoozefest
What? NC State, multiple double digit seed wins, three teams in the Final Four who hadn’t been there in 40 years (Purdue, NCSU) and ever (Bama)? So what that UConn is a great team and proved it. It was a great tournament.

80% coverage here in NC...plan to watch it and try to get some photos of the cool shadows on the ground. Very sunny day here.
You Buffalo/WNY folks are lucky!

Some of us did not like the 2022 offseason at the time and it has proven to be pretty much an unmitigated disaster:
Free Agent signings:
Jordan Phillips - $5m
Tim Settle - $9m
Daquan Jones - $14m
Von Miller - $120m
Roger Saffold - $6.25m
Ryan Bates - $17m
OJ Howard - $3.5m
Jameson Crowder - $2m
Extension:
Stefon Diggs - $96m
First round pick:
Kaiir Elam
I know he had some decent success with some of his later picks - Cook, Bernard, Benford - but it is by any standards a bit of a disaster of an offseason.
I’ll push back a bit here. Not a great offseason by any means, but hardly a disaster. Daquan is a stud. Miller was playing great before the ACL. Bates was a solid piece, and Crowder got hurt. Phillips was effective when healthy. Saffold was washed, Settle did nothing extraordinary, and Howard was a flyer who was cut.
Saffold was a terrible signing and Settle was a “we hope he’s on the rise” signing that didn’t pan out. But do we blame Beane for injuries now?
The Diggs extension was necessary given the way the WR market exploded, and he was playing at a high level.
Jury is still out on Elam but apparently he’s been hurt for most of his time here as well.

He said "you should have been training instead of playing golf." Josh doesn't like being held accountable. Diggs was the only player on this team that wanted to win and held other players accountable. Now we have no leadership
You are completely making shite up. Graham said he doesn’t know what Diggs said.

FWIW I was watching "Tim Graham and Friends" podcast last night, and he recounted talking to Devin McCourty (now an analyst with NBC) prior to the Miami game.
McCourty, of course, watched 3 years of film with the goal of stopping Diggs 2 (or more) times a season.
According to Graham, McCourty said "it looks like they're trying to prove they can win without him" (Diggs)Yes, I read that article also. It is patently clear that the Bills were planning to move on from Diggs...Beane just had to wait for the right deal to come along.
Buffalo Sabres and NHL 2023-2024

Which should be the number one goal. They desperately needed a coach with legitimate NHL experience to instill the structure and discipline required to compete over a full 82-game season and not just in spurts. There is no excuse for a team with this talent to miss the playoffs. Under Granato they were undisciplined defensively and horrendous on special teams. And judging by Mittelstadt’s comments after leaving practices were a breeze.
I don’t know if Ruff is more than a one-year answer but I doubt there is a guy out there who wants to win in Buffalo more than he does.
