  1. If Andre Reed can't get into the HOF, then McNabb has no reason to even be in the conversation. Without that defense, Roethlisberger wouldn't have won those championships.
  2. He can easily play OLB as well. We can move him around depending on the situation which is valuable.
  3. Evans has always been the most overrated WR in Bills history. Most people here said that Evans was our number 1 and Stevie was our number 2 and Stevie would struggle once Evans was gone. Actually Stevie has played BETTER.
  4. At the end of the day, I think it'll be down to Kuechly or Gilmore.
  5. How is Kuechly overrated? From what I've read he's big enough, athletic enough and he's instinctive. Mayock knows more than anyone in here and I'll take his word over yours. David rocks? Great analysis but based off what? Not impressed. Fleener will be the next Ed McCaffrey? WHy because they're both white receivers that catch the ball? Decastro may be just a guard but if you can solidify the inside with Levitre, Wood, and someone who's been compared to the likes of Hutchinson, then you take him.
  6. Highly doubt it. Lee Evans was signed to a 1 year deal. That's not much of a commitment and if they see Floyd being their guy, they'll draft him regardless of Evans.
  7. We have too many holes to fill on this team. If we were an overall great team that made the playoffs consistently and LT was our only glaring weakness, then I'd say why not? This isn't the case for us. We need LB help, WR, LT, and CB help.
  8. Fact is he's not a megastar. But he's CLEARLY our best WR and has been our best overall WR since Andre Reed.
  9. Stevie has shown he has great hands. What he struggles with sometimes is lack of concentration. When he's wide open he loses his concentration and thinks too much, but when he's forced to react and make the tough catch, he almost always makes it. He just needs to fix that problem. What he does against Revis is Revis and Johnson. Their battle is one on one. And YES. Stevie HAS OWNED Revis Island. Just because they lost those games doesn't mean it was because of Stevie. Stevie's job is to get open consistently against the best CB in the league and he's shown he is capable of doing so. So where does this have anything to do with the Bills losing? The Bills losing was a TEAM loss. Lindell was just as much responsible as anyone else.
  10. I personally would dislike this draft. First, you're willing to take a WR that's extremely RAW with our number 1 pick? Someone who won't contribute for at least 2 or 3 years? Wasted pick number 1. Number 2...Fleener? This guy is rated number 1 TE in this year's class because this is a VERY weak TE class. Thirdly, I still don't understand people's obsession with Lavonte David. An undersized Will LB that struggles to disengage blockers and stop the run. We have plenty of that, which is why we struggle against the run. So where's the players that can contribute from day one? With the spending spree off Anderson and Mario, we're trying to win now. The way I see it, we need players that can step onto the field, day one and these guys arent it. Give me a sure fire pick at number 1 that can start from day one. Luke Kuechly, Michael Floyd, or even David DeCastro.
  11. People who say Stevie isn't a number 1 WR is delirious and don't know what they're talking about. Stevie is better than half the number 1 WRs in the league. He'll never be a superstar like Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson but just because he's not as good as them doesn't mean he's not a number 1 WR. He's a SOLID number 1 WR, but he's no superstar. But who cares. Stevie is great
  12. People are FINALLY warming up to Brian Quick after I mentioned him earlier.
  13. I'm sure Mayock has seen a lot more tape than you. ACTUAL TAPE and not Youtube clips. I'll take Mayocks word over yours any day of the week.
  14. So many reasons to take Luke Kuechly over Floyd. I still think our LB is our weakest position in terms of talent and depth. Not sure how Merriman, Moats, Batten all fit into the 43 system anymore and outside of Shepp and Barnett, I don't see any other LBs that can really hack it. Not to mention we were PISS POOR against the run. Not bad, but ABYSMAL. Also we play against some of the best TE's in the league, in Hernandez, Gronk, and Keller, we need someone that is capable of covering the TEs. With Kuechly, we can solve 2 of our BIGGEST problems by drafting one player. Can you say that about Floyd?
  15. Hey everyone. I'm a member here originally from KINNELON, NJ. If that town name doesn't ring a bell, that's where Elise Testone is from. Please please please vote for her. Went to high school with her and she's crazy talented. Lets get her to the top !!!!
  16. Yeaaa no he's not. LB is still our biggest weakness and outside of Barnett, we have mediocre players. LB's will get you immediate production whereas a WR takes about 2 to 3 years to have their breakout years (with the exception of a few). Floyd is not the better player. Kuechly is a safer pick that fills a need for this team and will produce from day one. We can draft Kuechly and still get a WR that produces like a Sanu, and theres always a possibility that Stephen Hill will be available in the 2nd round.
  17. The more and more I think about it, if Kuechly is there, he SHOULD be the pick. He'd be BPA and safest pick and fills a need for this team.
  18. You're DELIRIOUS if you think Fitz is a top 10 QB. Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick, Cam Newton, Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub, Tony Romo are all better than Fitz.
  19. So many football experts here. Why aren't you guys applying for the scouting positions in the NFL?
  20. Yes it does... He is able to avoid trash at his knees and is elite when it comes to shedding blockers. To shed blockers you have to be physical and technically sound. He doesn't say it in your face but in context, he says Kuechly is a physical player.
  21. Fred is the more complete back. Sure he's 30+ but he doesn't have much mileage.
  22. Andre Reed was not an Elite WR prospect. He wasn't even a WR coming out of college. He played TE at Kutztown.
  23. Sorry but Spiller was NOT BPA. Dez Bryant was BY FAR BPA. His character got him to slide, but talent wise, it wasn't even close. If we gonna take BPA, we would've taken Dez. CJ Spiller was such a waste of a pick. Even Jason Pierre Paul got great grades and would've been a better pick.
  24. Just like Nix said we needed a scatback and drafted CJ Spiller?
  25. 1) Riley Reiff OT/Iowa - LT that we need. Not worried about his "short arms 2) Vontaze Burfict ILB/Arizona State - Physical and psychotic LB that isn't afraid to blitz. Great sideline to sideline speed and a physical LB. Nick Barnett is mentoring him and should keep him out of trouble. 3) Brian Quick WR/Appalachian State - BIG, fast WR that's extremely underrated. 2,000 yds and 11 TDs receiving last year. Of the 3, Brian Quick intrigues me the most. An almost 6'4" 220 lb WR with great ball skills and decent speed is just what we need. I seriously hope Buddy has his eyes on him and wouldn't be surprised if we even go for him in the 2nd round. The thing I like with him is how physical he is and his willingness to go up the middle. I think he complements our WR's very nice and is a great red zone threat. How come no one is talking about this guy?
