Mad at Mario? He deserves the criticism. What I don't get is how it seems you're not more upset with Rex? Did you really see us being so bad on defense? And I mean all around. Not just Mario. I would be more upset with someone who had both the blueprint and the talent to come in and ride the wave created by Swartz. Nope, he totally misused the talent he inherited. Mario included. How can you be more mad about Mario? He's gone and the guy who neutered one of the best dlines in the NFL last yr.is still here. The sad part is the offense was good enough to help the Swartz led d to the playoffs. I have high hopes for the offense, but I'm not sure what to expect from the d. I don't think anyone does. It wasn't supposed to be like that and for that reason I'm more pissed at Rex.

Mario is the one who called out this crappy scheme fit for the personnel we had/have. I'm pretty sure he wasn't the only one to feel that way. When he saw things weren't going to change, he knew he was a gonner. A lot of this is on Rex. I didn't get the feeling players "wanted to play for Rex" and one of his biggest assets was the" players love playing for me" card. I don't get that vibe and this off season either. Mario played his hand right. Save your body and move on from this clown called Sexy Rexy. JMO.

Woo hoo! After 500+ posts we can finally drop this subject? Who's the next injury riddled, short, fast wr that fills a niche we can argue about,Goodwin? Oh yea, we did that already. I know we have other needs, but we really should look into drafting a wr. I hope we can somehow snag the Ohio state qb, turned wr. Forgot his name and typing on my phone.

You're wasting your time with left nut. He/she is right. It didn't look like his interest in the poll was regarding the Bills being more popular than the jests. Left nut knows how this boards work. It's his/her life. OK, we got the first of all. Where's the second, Left nut? -

I know this will sound like a generalization, but I've been around plenty of off duty cops who were drinking. Family members on the force. There hasn't been one time where I didn't view their behavior as cocky s.o.b.'s who would not hesitate to beat your ass for looking at them. Of course it would be more than just one cop drinking together. Actually confronted a family member on the force who said he hadn't given it much thought til I mentioned it. He said I was more right than wrong. Just food for thought. -

While I will agree the 3 and outs in bunches hurts, my eyes watching this d and the #s saw a discombobulated(sp) defense. Last year's d was in trouble. Bunches of 3 and out or not. I guess I just hated the ENORMOUS waste of a good to pretty good defense. I'm hoping for the best and I think the offense will play a role in helping the d with sustained drives that end up with points on the board. -

Not buying into this. Our 2014 offense sucked, but the 2014 D was first in 3rd down efficiency in preventing a 1st down(33.2%) : http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/3rd-down-efficiency-against/2014/ Our offense was worse in 2015(not much, but worse), but our d was 23rd in 3rd down efficiency in preventing a 1st down (40.5%): http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/3rd-down-efficiency-against/2015/ One more 3 and out in 11 less possessions shouldn't equal such a big dive in the defenses #'s From the same site I have the offensive #'s regarding 3 and outs below: 2014 we had a 3 and out at a 24.87 % clip 49 out of 197 2015 we had a 3 and out at a 26.88 % clip 50 out of 186 http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/three-and-out-percentage/2014/ http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/three-and-out-percentage/2015/ -
I tried to stay away from this one because I like Robert, always have. IMO he's definitely a #2 and seeing the likes of Moulds and Reed acknowledging this, I feel better about having Woods on the team as a #2. He played through a groin injury, new HC,new OC, new QB, new scheme, etc. He should get this season as a #2 to show he can do it. If he is healthy and doesn't produce, then we should look for a # 2. Having said this, if we find someone to overtake him as the #2, I'm all for it, but I don't see this as a real issue unless he doesn't recover from the groin injury.
