  1. Nothing about pro bowls sounds like Poz lol
  2. Damn . Well that officially makes Barnett the best ILB available.
  3. I definitely don't think he's washed up, I'd much rather have him than other ILBs that have been tossed to the scrap heap i.e. Morrison & Crowder. I just think they have to be careful here with how much they give him, and I think it's highly doubtful he signs for under 4 years.
  4. He's 30 and wasn't able to finish 2 out of the last 3 seasons due to injuries (ACL, wrist). I don't want to start this season with Torbor, bur I don't want to finish it with him either. I'd be really scared signing him to a 5-yr deal, and I'm certain that's what he wants at his age.
  5. Wow, Tulloch must be asking for a fortune or maybe they just got sick of dealing with Rosenhaus. Get after Tulloch!
  6. I was hoping for Tulloch but Burnett will do nicely. He's a solid tackler and looks comfortable working in space. He's got problems in coverage but he's no worse than Poz in that area. I'd guess 5 years $25M with $10M guaranteed gets him here.
  7. Oh please quit with the tax nonsense. GA tax rate is 6%, a 2.75% difference from Erie County. A $600,000 home in Orchard Park would cost $1.5-$2M in Atlanta.
  8. After reading that article I don't think he was moving for any amount.
  9. Donte Whitner 6 years at $50M should do it. Then everyone will be happy right?
  10. There's a moral to be learned from all this. The site/blog looked incredibly cheesy, and had a .BIZ domain. We all know agents love to salt the media with misinformation advantageous to their client. One fishy story and the entire message board community was married to Clabo, and tweeting all the ESPN talking heads for info on the deal. Next thing the ESPN braintrust is tweeting back that the source appears to be "murky" but the Bills are the leading contender for Clabo. All nonsense with no clear source.
  11. Yes, you are missing the actual verified amount we offered him. I would take a wild guess and say we offered him about $30M over 5 years. He probably chose to stay in a town where his wife and kids are settled and play for a playoff team rather than come to Buffalo. If he signed for that low, it's pretty evident he wasn't leaving regardless and was just using us for leverage. It happens.
  12. Yup. Bills were just leverage all along.
  13. It's not right, some idiot in this thread plucked that number out of his head.
  14. Sure a good TE would help, not arguing that. Tony G caught 90 passes for 1,000 yards pretty much every year for his entire career and is a HOF TE. Zach Miller is not Tony G.
  15. Um no. Just no. $10M for a starting RT is obscenely overpriced. You want to give almost 10% of the team payroll to a RT? No way....
  16. Gailey's offense doesn't rely heavily on the TE. The whole Miller thing was pretty much concocted on the 2 local message boards and never really had any legs. FA isn't over with yet. If the Bills grab Clabo and a ILB like Burnett, would that satisfy you?
  17. Do you actually watch Football Games? Just saying...If you don't know what Brad Smith brings to the table then you're just not paying attention... I too would have to question if a lot of people here watch football games if they don't know who Brad Smith is...
  18. Don't know who he even is, but he must still be living in the 80s if he thinks $15M is overpaying. Wow. I was expecting a 5yr deal in the $26-$28M range tbh.
  19. Wow I thought for sure he would demand a 5 year deal. 3 years - $15M is very reasonable.
  20. Correct, he's better because he's younger, faster, a better tackler, and isn't injury prone. Also he's a much more physical player.
  21. The only FA ILB out there that's better is Tulloch, and good luck with that since the Titans are planning on signing him to a long term deal. Poz was a bit overrated, but he was the best ILB we had, and the 2nd best in FA this year. The defense took a step back today no mater how you rationalize it.
  22. My guess would be royal blue. /shrug
  23. The wall used to be red, then they changed it to navy blue to match their change in uniforms (which obviously, they no longer use). And yeah it looks terrible with the new royal blue lol, I'm sure they will get around to changing it. It's kinda like buying a new tailored suit and mismatching it with a 20 year old tie from your closet. Even a small change like the wall really makes the field pop. Field looks fantastic though!
  24. You can use use all the hyperbole and strawman arguments you like, it won't make your point valid. The argument was that teams with higher revenues can more easily fix their mistakes. Rather than argue the point, or just admit you are wrong, you try to derail it. I gave you two quick examples (out of hundreds) off the top of my head of where a high revenue team was able to overcome their mistakes with money. Before I typed this reply, I just noticed you have 5,000+ posts in 2 years. Now it makes sense, you're the Google-educated forum warrior that argues just for the sake of arguing. I know the earth is flat and I'll toe the line regardless! Anyways I'm not going to continue this back-and-forth. Maybe you learned something today, even if you won't admit it. Here's one for the your reading comprehension file: The article you are quoting uses figures from the 2009 season and the Giant's old stadium, yet still reflects the debt of the new stadium built in Apr 2010. So even your derails and grasps at straws are factually incorrect. Good work.
