Hines and Cook will give the Offense a running/passing game from the backfield. They might need a bruiser from FA of the draft late pick. I am fine with keeping Devin and investing in the RG position with a starter and hoping like hell Bates can man the LG next to Dion ! Or Two Guards and a Right tackle to push Brown . Safety may hardly be a wasted pick in this case, as that might be the best value we can get and a player of need meeting. Does not change what Bills need to get on Offense this offseason. Looking at this years need , I am starting to feel Beane indulged a bit last few year on that D line and now it might actually visibly hurt Us.

I have always thought McD allows his Coaches to do what they think is best. And very much to a fault. Part of the Growth process. He is painfully loyal, and uncomfortable with forcing his hand when things are trending poorly. and there is the other option , as so many have mentioned when things go awry lol But I still have faith in McBeanes

I mentioned this in another thread. Pretty firm about my opinion. Time for some sincere tweaks and change how the LBs vs DB vs D Line function ! I too welcome the change, and remain hopeful

Many of of us have asked for MLB who does just that, sets the tone. Plays aggressive to ball. Especially in the run game. That would be a great tweak to the defense ! I have felt they held on to Edmunds to long more because he affected how the Defense played. To its detriment. yes i said it They used him more for his height and wingspan and perceived speed to the sideline. Get a guy who doesnt get washed and has better instincts . Its a reasonable question. Depending if Bills can fill some holes in FA. ( not sure they can , but we do need starters at at least two positions ) I am thinking the WRs in the draft will offer Bills a chance for a starter on the outside though in the 1st. Thats a lot of Likes ! But I would sign up for that theoretically Plus trickle in some FA and draft a speed receiver who could develop later in the draft ? Wish lists right

McD needs to change up his method. As mentioned , he did during the second half of the chargers game with good results. I am sure he can change up and become more aggressive for the upcoming season. The trick is when to turn it up. My opinion is he will have Al Holcomb run a slightly tweaked Defense with all the assistant and position Coached more focused on a "get after it pressure" D, and less the "confuse them" D. Which no longer confused them as they were always reacting to Offenses. So Holcomb get the job , with more of Sean's hand in making the transition to his semi new look Defense

because player or position ? If Edmunds walks (and I am okay with that ) Bills will than have an Elephant in the room. That position will have to be solved not just patched over. Starting Right Guard needs the most attention IMO. and outside WR is not far behind. Safety should be on the list and another guard who has potential to replace Morse in a year. But cannot let the MLB spot become a weakness in a McDermott Defense is that a No ? To Campbell. The difficult part might be , can Bills fill the other NEEDS further along in the draft ? Well this is where the line has been drawn isn't it ? When McBeanes came on , the mantra was to "build" a long term competitive Team. The SB win is unsaid of course. They have done that. They have Allen. I am pro McDermott because he has built a culture I respect and can cheer for. But he has absolutely made tactical mistakes. he's a youngish Coach and has a fair amount of transition to find what works with the Dynamics and who he assigns what roles in his responsibilities to field a wining team week in and week out. He aint there yet, Obviously. Its plain to see his coaches were not getting the most out of their player responsibilities for reasons i wont pretend to understand ! But this season has to be different. Both sides of the ball. Cant wait to see what they do to adjust. btw I am fine being long term contenders as compared to the Rams

Do you all know what a Jeep Trackhawk is is exactly ?Much less how much they cost. vs a ford expedition. This kids was driving a super SUV with 700HP if not modified. they get to 1100HP with a tune. No one was going to come close to keeping up. not even Lambos etc Kids being kids ? With 100k car vs a 250 horse car with NO handling or braking upgrades is inviting disaster. He should never have pushed the "Hey lets Race" button knowing what might happen to the expedition. Trackhawk, how does a kid get one of these. any body die ?

Disagree Where were the screens were was the run game and wtf is chuck it far Josh about ? The route running was poor and hardly self aware. why wasnt that corrected by the OC. Whet werent the blocking schemes fixed so Josh was not lined up so often with four wide and no protection running go routes, whilst getting killed game after game. Give me a break, he sucked I dont know what made the Offense drop off so much. The O line was struggling Josh was struggling and the Offense in general was struggling. Did McD lose his team ? Josh cant be part of the problem? What's the common denominator here ? There are two Josh ( i love him ) Ken Dorsey ( i do not love him) Why did Davis fall so far after last years post season ? hint its not the WRs so much.

All possible ! My take is Josh had such a great comfort/communication level with Cole , Bills felt bringing him and Brown back might help. Something to consider about what was going on with the thinking in correcting the ships direction mid season. Also keep in mind these guys were getting open and Josh either did not see them, or did not trust them.

Not in the mood to spend $ on an older WR regardless. Trade or UFA a young guy on the cheap that fits the mold of Bills need. Which is speed and hands. Not worried about slot this season. Hel you might move Davis into the slot on occasion ? Get one or two young guns who can run outside and have upside with route trees. Where matters not to me. Hope the New WRs Coach can improve what we already have significantly as well. Evan sis a good player and guy. But we missed that window
